It's nice. The freeway can be a bit much at night time. A space further away would be best. We had a nice relaxing weekend, and so did our dogs.

The upsides are many. 1-The local is perfect and close to our daughter. 2-It is also close to Coeur D'Alene. 3-The park overlooks the river and is right on the bike path. 4-The owner, Lawrence, is very friendly and is accomodating. The downsides are 1- a nonrefundable deposit. (They will give you a gift card to be used with them) 2- They have only 30 amps, and water. 3-There are very few with sewer, though they have a dump station. 4- The biggest issue being a pet owner is that it gets really hot and the power goes out frequently. They have been working towards 50amps for a couple years.

The campground is right on the bike path and only one mile from the Cataldo mission. Paved sites and they allowed many rigs to park on their grass. They have a shower/bath house with four stalls. Not really enough for the amount of campers so plan to wait during peak times. They are cleaned in the am but by afternoon are pretty dirty. The trash containers are not big enough for the amount of people so expect to see overflow. Cell service for Verizon was very poor. They have WiFi but it is only available at the front by the bathrooms and the signal goes in and out. Water pressure is very high so we used our fresh water tank. The river access is nice with beautiful views and moose. The interstate is nearby but not noisy.

This campground has a very friendly and safe feeling atmosphere. During the day, there is always a staff member sitting near camp entrance to direct campers and keep an eye out for security or to answer questions. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The friendly camp atmosphere means that as campers take a walk they stop frequently to chat as they pass your camp, or smile and wave as they pass you on the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes.

Don't waste your money. Said it had wifi, NOT. When we turned the water on, it ran dirty for 5 minutes. We had to tie a rope around our electrical box to hold the cord in. Said specific times were quiet hours, and the camper next to us ran its generator all nite long!! Speed limits were posted, but the management didn't think it pertained to them when it was raining. Nice location, and access to the river.

Nice little riverside RV park right off the freeway. Prepare to dump before or after as there is no septic at the sites.Park is okay, getting a little dated. Good stop for a night or two. There's not much right around there, except for the river.

This was a very pleasant surprise! Easy access roads are wide enough, many of the spots were pull through. Literally right on the river, and a fantastic paved rail trail! Really beautiful setting. Clean bathrooms, weird curtains on all the stalls and showers rather than doors but it was very clean, comfortable, showers were hot, flushing toilets in working condition. This is a definite do again.

We got in really late like 11pm with no reservation or even calling ahead and just hoped we found a spot and got hooked up. The site had electricity 30 amp and 20 amp and water, no sewer, but they did have a dump station at the front which we used on the way in and on the way out. Easy to use. We checked in which was super easy. We just scanned the QR code that was on the check in sign and paid the $50 fee. The late check in process was perfect for us. The area is really nice with green grass and the river running along. There’s a nice new bathroom shower facility with four rooms. Very nice and clean. It also has a tankless instant hot water heater and it’s open 24/7. Overall I’d say it was a great experience. Cell phone reception is there but there is no bandwidth for it so it’s crazy slow, it’s useless. Not sure if they offered wifi.

Lawrence and Emerald are such nice people, and extremely helpful with everything. I made a somewhat late reservation, and he was able to squeeze me in by moving me around a bit. Then when I wanted to extend, he was able to find more open spots to allow me to stay. In the end I had to move a few times, but he was able to reduce the number of moves considerably, due to cancellations, etc. Lawrence is also a top notch fly fisherman, ask him for advice about fishing on the river there. As for the facilities, they just completed a brand new bathroom/shower building, which came out really nice. The RV pads are level, and also he has plans for expansion, building lots more full hook up sites for next year. There's a nice bar/restaurant just a short walk away, down the Coeur d'Alane trail, which is a great biking/hiking trail across N Idaho. I'll be back!

We had reservations booked ONLINE. Why have an online booking when you seldom use it? Where is the customer service? The owner comment was you should have called. We wanted a full hookup site with sewer, water and power got a site 13 with no sewer. There is no WI-FI and no Cable. The Dump station is probably one of the WORST see pictures. Just move the rock and use your hose and yes you will get black tank water backup and associated smell. No services or stores nearby so if you are forced to park here stock up first. The park kid infested with these Pine cone bugs just covered the outside wall of the RV and when you smash them smells like a stink bug. Hopefully none came with us.

Enjoyed a couple nights here in our 28' motorhome with toad. The full hookup sites were full so they placed us in the overage area with no hookups but it wasn't a problem. Grassy, level, quiet park, easy to navigate and no tight turns. This is directly on The Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes, one of the best bike paths we've ever experienced. Can't wait to come back another time and stay longer.

Just got done staying 4 nights here. What can i say, very beautiful spot right next to the freeway. We walked down to the river everyday and spent hour upon hours there. Did some kayaking, hiking, and bike riding on the trail of CDA which runs right in front of it. The new owners that are running this campground are very nice and accommodating. I would definitely be back next year.

Nice location, right on the river. I believe they are new owners that just took over the place. Seemed like they were working to make things better. They were friendly and helpful to us as guests. We stayed twice over the last week both were dry camping spots. The only complaint we had was how dusty it was, even walking around caused dust to kick up which wouldn't have been an issue except we didn't have electrical so no AC and our windows were open so we got a good bit of dust inside. Not much to do in the area. We did meet a couple of horses that were across the road as we walked around exploring a bit.Not that they can do much about it, but cell service was a bit weak here. We have Verizon and was barely able to get internet access from the camp ground.

New bathhouse built and it is great. Owners are awesome. Right on the river. Area for tent camping as well as both pull thru and back in rv spots. Bike trail is right there. As others have said, hwy noise but in our rv at night it never bothered us. Everyone is pretty quiet. We had a great time and will definitely stay here again.

Stayed at this park last week for two nights. We wish we could have stayed longer. The location on the river is spectacular. We played in the river for hours. The parks location to the CDA bike path is also amazing. We biked many miles in both directions. It’s beautiful. The wildlife is plentiful. On our final morning, we watched a moose lounging by the river. I will definitely return.

Like it, and we WILL come back. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! But... it needs a few things changed, especially the men's restroom - no curtain or door for privacy after stepping out of the shower - in fact, when you step out of one of the stalls, you might find yourself naked and 2 feet away from someone brushing his teeth at a sink. No hooks to hang clothes - just a chair outside one of the two shower stalls (no room in front of the second stall). Restroom toilet stalls have curtains vs. doors, so very little privacy there either. The shower handle is too high on the wall for short people to even reach - especially children. My wife said the women's room was better, but I can only speak to the men's room. Also, there are only a few picnic tables in the whole campground - certainly far short of a table for each site. I understand people have stolen their tables in the past, but at $30 per night, there should be money to replace the tables and maybe buy a security camera or two. Overall, we like the place and do plan to come back - but mainly because you can't beat the location. If another park opens nearby right on the bike trail, we'll consider going there instead. That said, we did like the owners - nice people - just hope they invest a bit more back into amenities. Saw moose right from the campground, as well as a short bike ride away.

This is definitely a 5 star campground for the quality of its management; for the spacing between RVs and camper trailers; for the location to miles of rail trail bike riding and to fishing on the Coeur d'Alene river - both rail trail and river adjacent to the RV park and for the modern clean bathrooms. The park just got Wifi and the speed of connection is great. Lawrence, Emerald, Shane and Laura are very supportive of guests and committed to your quality stay.
