Wonderful roadside stop with fresh local cherries and apricots. The owner kindly gave us a tour. After meeting her sweet goats we had to try the goat cheese she makes every Tuesday. The Montreal chèvre was the best goat cheese I’ve ever had. Enjoyed it on a homemade everything bagel cracker we got at Itty Bitty Farms next door, run by her son. Had a picnic at a shady table at the county fairgrounds just down the road. Refreshing and delightful! 🐐

I purchased 6 laying hens from Silver Oaks Farm. I HIGHLY recommend them. The hen house was immaculately clean and the hens were in superb condition. They were helpful with educating me on everything I needed and the general health and care of the chickens. I don’t think they are selling their hens anymore, however I know they sell eggs and they are DELICIOUS!

Stopped by on a whim and Dawna took the time to show me her chicken estates and farm. Lovely set up, well engineered for the most optimal efficiency and cleanliness. Chickens and Roosters were happy and healthy. Her set-up is well planned out, very lovely. Baby chicks are clean and healthy, all very sturdy with intricate colorings. Not a sick animal in the bunch. I highly recommend this local gem!

Absolutely amazing goat cheese. Stopped by on our way from craters of the moon, and had a lovely tour from the owner.
