The sign of a good taxidermist is a long wait to get your animal back. I brought my deer in in October of 2022, and it was finished in December of 2023 (although I wasn't able to get over to pick it up for another month). It was well worth the wait. My deer turned out absolutely beautifully. The details (eyes, antler mount, expression, etc) were fantastic. There seam across the back is completely invisible (actually, I only assume that's where it's at because that's typically in the back but I can't see where).Communication from the owner was a welcome thing as well. When he started working on the mount, he sent me pictures to see if I wanted it facing the opposite direction from what we initially said. And he was spot on- I'm so glad he saw how much better it would look that way.If I have another opportunity to hunt Idaho, I will definitely bring any game back here.
