Cool little breakfast/lunch spot nestled just past the curve on 55 in beautiful Sunnyslope. A quaint shop with local items for sale all throughout the restaurant. Gorgeous selection of pies, cookies and fudge! Tons of other items for sale from coffee mugs, to old time candy and plenty of art prints and home decor. We both had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. Beautifully grilled chicken breast with a touch of Buffalo sauce, lettuce, tomato and red onion on a gently grilled bun. The bun seemed lightly buttered. I had tater tots, which were rectangular shape with fry sauce(of course, this IS Idaho!) and my wife had a side salad, no skimp on the toppings. Service was amazing and available if needed. We left with a lemon cookie. It was nice and dense and not overly sweet. We will definitely be going back again, especially if we can get out there for breakfast. If not, maybe next time for a slice of those amazing pies.

I have never eaten a better breakfast than the one my wife and I enjoyed here. I ordered the Migos, which is a Tex-Max scramble of incredibly delicious ingredients. The atmosphere is wonderfully warm, as though invited to a family dining table. There are many interesting items to purchase, as well as a very fine bakery. The location is a little obscure. It is easy to miss as you are driving south on Hwy 55. I would strongly recommend that anyone who is driving east on interstate 84 toward Boise, make the turn off at Caldwell and drive the 20 minutes or so to eat a meal at this wonderful restaurant.

Quaint restaurant by Sunnyslope fruit orchards. Once inside, you take a step back in time . An older facility that has appeared to have never changed with the times but has been maintained and is clean. We were with others, so I was unable to get photos. I personally had their finger steak basket with tater tots, and they were tender and tasty as well as moist. My wife said that her fish taco was terrific. Each person in our party was raving about their meal. Once done eating, there's a huge selection of items for sale at reasonable prices. I consider the items that are for sale comparable to a large chain restaurant with a country theme, but this is a mom - and pop owned restaurant. They only serve breakfast and lunch and are extremely busy at peak dining times. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I will be going back from time to time. Gluten-free free food is available. Prices are reasonable

On recommendation of a friend in Tahoe we stopped by for breakfast on the way through the area and we're so impressed with this easy to miss gem. Possibly the best breakfast ever, definitely the best raspberry marzipan scone in the world. Bought a Marion Berry pie which we'll share later, but it is a thing of beauty. Delightful friendly service, clean and charming place not to be missed.

Wow - what a great place! My wife and I stopped in for breakfast today based on some recommendations. This is a fantastic family place for a weekend meal! So many happy people enjoying themselves. I had a great chicken fried steak (the steak was very good) and my wife had the omelet with bacon & spinach. She loved her potatoes. The marble rye bread was very good also. I highly recommend this place for a great breakfast/lunch. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful.

This past weekend I had a delightful experience dining at The Orchard House restaurant. This experience did not disappoint, and exceeded our expectations. The overall atmosphere was very cozy and inviting with a handful of greetings as soon as we stepped foot in the door. The service at The Orchard House Restaurant was exceptional, we were seated right away and the staff was constantly attentive and accommodating. Our server's recommendations did not disappoint, she enthusiastically answered any questions about the menu, showcasing her deep knowledge and genuine passion for the cuisine. Turning our attention to the delightful food, we experienced a very pleasant lunch. To start off our meal we indulged in the delectable mozzarella sticks and a homemade pretzel paired with cheese sauce, both were mouth watering pieces that definitely deserve another visit. For the main course, I ordered the Farm Boy Burger, juicy and enhanced with all very fresh and crisp toppings. The Orchard House Restaurant has a variety of options ranging from seafood, poultry, or vegetarian options. Rest assured, there is something for everyone. The dessert on the other hand is nothing short of impeccable with a variety of options, some including pies, cookies, and bread pudding. It is truly evident that they serve with pride and care for the product. This was a delightful way to end an extraordinary experience.

The warm & very friendly atmosphere surely makes one feel like family. Also, no matter what you order food wise, it's so yummy & you'll either try to cook the meal at home OR keep going back & order it again like I do😊 My fav is the Tuna Melt, which I've never really liked until I ordered one yesterday!! Oh, don't even get me started on their yummy baked goods & Fudge. The folks that work there are AWESOME!! Orchard House is such a great place you'll be back again and again.

Ok, this place is one of my top places I've ever been to, in terms of shock value and how damn tasty the food was. We came here from Ste Chapelle's Winery (See my review for that place, it's fantastic), and I literally missed this place on the road the 1st time. It's tucked away next to a small gas station, and honestly I didn't even see it at first. It's kind of small, and initial impressions from the outside were so-so.Once inside, you notice how unique and cozy the whole vibe is in there. Lots of dope decorations, medium sized dining area (very clean), and some cool gifts at the gift shop. Shock value is increasing, I'm liking the place more and more. The female waitress was very friendly and bubbly. Now to the best part (and probably why you're going to be coming here), the food! 1 word? DAMN! Everything we ordered came out so damn good, I was shocked. If you're coming here, you MUST get the Bacon Stuffed Mushrooms, trust me on this one. Little pricey, but they were so good and presentation was very nice. My party ordered Fish & Chips, Seared Salmon Salad, and Farmboy Burger. Everything was so tasty and fresh, I was surprised how this little restaurant can produce such amazing food, seriously... I'm STRAVING now looking at the photos I took of the food there. My suggestion is to go to Ste Chapelle's Winery that's close by, have some drinks outside in the fresh air to get the appetite growing, and then come straight here, and go beast mode...This place is 5 stars EASSSSY....Trust me on this one

We had lunch there, the day was rainy, so it wasn't crowded. Several young kids were working.I ordered water with my meal, it was served in a very small juice glass, I couldn't get anyone to bring me another. The server gave me a choice of sauces to have with my food, and I didn't get them until I was almost finished eating. Our food was delicious. Service was awful. Only 4 tables of other people in the dining room. Local foods, fudge, etc. are for sale. Be sure to LOOK at the price tags, I ended up paying $10 EACH for some jalapeño ketchup and some chardonnay mustard! Souvenirs are also very pricey. Lunch for 2 was $50. plus tip, I paid $80 by the time it was all over.

First time here won’t be our last! Got the onion rings for an appetizer and everything went up from there. Farm boy burger was perfect! Service was great! Will be back for breakfast and some of that bread pudding.

I love the orchard house! It's such a fun place. I love the way it's decorated, and the food is amazing! I've never ordered something I didn't like. You have to get dessert too. The pear pie is my favorite. They have really good homemade cookies and as many different types of fudge as you could think of.

Cool little place with a fun atmosphere. Great breakfast, great service.I had the blueberry pancake. When they say "plate size" they mean it! It was very tasty and I didn't even need much syrup to enjoy it. Good coffee, too.Just a great experience and I'll be back!

We had lunch at one of Idaho's fabulous locally owned County Restaurants. Amanda was a wonderful server and our food was delicious. Fried Zucchini and Finger Steaks are two of our favorites! They have everything you could possibly want! Local Wine, Beer, Desserts, Coffee, and Fresh Fudge just to name a few. Patio dining available and besure to look at their unique gift section.

Quaint dining experience that you will miss if you blink. Well worth the 30 mile drive from Boise. The fries were among the best I have tasted, house made, crisp on the outside with a tasty seasoning, and fluffy inside.

We really wanted to like this place but the rudeness and disrespect coming from the staff, made the food almost inedible. The restaurant lost its charm. We won't be back. The restaurant will not accomadate groups over 6. They have zero flexibility as in they won't bring an extra chair over or push a table together. So my family was separated included children. We tried over and over asking if they could move this or seat us there etc, with zero flexibility or sympathy.Children- they have plush toys to sell but they didn't offer a high chair or booster- my guess is because they won't move chairs around to be flexible. We weren't offered children's menus until AFTER we placed our orders.Food- fine. Probably would've been great if the service was even reasonable. My latte was never steamed and the server (who later said it was her fault) questioned me and spoke in a demeaning tone when I asked her for it to be hot. This wasn't a big deal but she made it one.I inquired about placing a to-go order. They don't do that on the weekends. So if someone is sick at home, don't plan on bringing them back something. Even if you were dining in.Truly, it was awkward. The staff's rudeness was so weird we were pretty astonished. We unfortunately won't be back.
