Beau and his staff are incredibly knowledgeable and sincere. I discovered them about 8 months ago, not having any clue what I was doing! They have been so patience answering all my questions and helping me set up my three tanks. I never felt any shame asking silly questions and always confident with their replies. Originally I had one goldfish tank, but after falling in love with their amazing selections, I started two more! I have never had any problems with anything that I have purchased from his store (unlike the other local pet stores). I am so thankful to have found them and fall in love with this hobby!

Absolutely beautiful aquatic shop. There are lots of variety and items to look at. Good amount of hardscape avaliable. Tanks were clean and some very beautiful ones. One annoying thing was that prices weren't marked on most livestock/plants/hardscape. Some did have price written on the glass tank but unfortunately when I went to ring up I still got charged more than what was written (yes, I did let the cashier know, but was still over charged). I went ahead and made the purchase. I would recommend it despite that. Definitely all for local and small businesses.

We love this place! We have had 2 saltwater tanks and several saltwater fish, coral, anemones, shrimp and snails. Beau and his staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable about everything in the store. They have always had great communication when we order fish and letting us know when they will be arriving, or if we have any questions. If you ever need fish, saltwater, or anything to do with tanks, this is the place to go! Also, attatched will be a picture of our tank with taco and nacho, our maroon clownfish

Great store and staff! Awesome selection of aquatic creatures and plants. Best store around. Needed help picking out a creature to join my crew, and sunken ship delivered! Got a mustard gas beta, all the needed equipment, and the little guy is going on two months strong.

I am obsessed! I prohibit anyone from going to Petco or Petsmart to buy anything aquatic! All the fish look happy and healthy. People who work here are very knowledgeable and friendly. Will be there weekly for my fish needs!

No matter how many times I call, email, or show up, EVERYONE is always ready and willing to help me. I recently went from plastic plants to live plants and had a few hiccups. All my fish are happy, including my puffers! Beau and Melissa walked me through everything (several times)! I LOVE MY TANK and cannot stop looking it. They are GREAT! Next stop, saltwater!

Was on vacation and stopped in to see what they had and boy was I blown away! I will literally make the 3.5 hour drive when I need more fish, plants, etc. Just to get top notch service and supplies. I'm not gonna lie, 2 minutes in the door I'm pretty sure every single employee asked if we needed help, and it almost turned me away, BUT I'm glad they did, because I had questions and concerns, and every single employee was so helpful and knowledgeable! The selection of wood they have is crazy, I just wish there was an empty bin so you could look through the wood easier. So many fish to choose from! I wish I could remember the girls name that helped me, but because of her I now I have 6 mollies, and my tank is on a great path to natural decor and algae free! You should call them when they are closed just to hear their voicemail, it's amazing as well!

As saltwater enthusiasts, we appreciate the prices and we always leave learning more than when we arrived!! Best store in the treasure valley. They have a natural and inviting feel. It is very clean as well. They are willing to accept more than one way of doing things which is rare In The saltwater hobby. They also will tell you when you want to do something that is not recommended or a bad idea. Overall it is mine and my wife’s favorite store and we will be the one we go to for 90 percent of our fish needs.

Thank you so much to Sunken Ship! My son spent the last month preparing for his first fish by researching a tank and accessories but we couldn't get the alkaline to be right to get a fish. It was the only thing holding him back! So we went here and they were able to help with the correct water (a whole bucket), plants to help regulate, and some fish product to help with waste. Once the tank was finally ready for a fish we even got the beta fish here (but they have SOOOOO much more than betas and the fish actually have room to move unlike other stores). Thank you for helping my son bring his first pet home; Leonardo DaFishy, aka Tiger.

I had heard about this place a few times but being in Boise I just never made it over there.Boy am I glad I did today! I was looking for a Betta for my daughters first tank and wanted to go somewhere where they actually might have some healthy Bettas.I was in awe when I walked in, everything, and I mean everything - all active, healthy fish everywhere. I'm so used to seeing dirty tanks, dead fish in tanks etc. Not here! Everything was pristine.I talked with 3 different staff as well as the owner, all were extremely helpful and knew their stuff. They helped with suggestions, answered questions, and were just a joy to talk to.From the sounds of it they plan on stocking some live food cultures soon as well.They have fresh and salt fish, aquascaping equipment, CO2 stuff, decorations (real ones and plastic ones).So happy we have a store like this where the staff obviously cares about the fish and selling good products and healthy animals.Anyways in summary, if you are in the hobby check this place out. To the owner and staff, keep up the great work, it's so nice to have a place like this around even if I have to make a 30 min trek to get there.

Went and checked out the new store. It looks awesome! I really wanted to try adding plants to my goldfish tank (if you know, you know). And I think the owner (I didn't catch his name) helped pick out a couple plants to try out. I even asked about a pothos cutting he had in a tank out of curiosity and he offered it to me! He was knowledgeable and everyone was so nice. I'm a novice fish keeper and everytime I go to Sunken Ship Aquatics everyone is always so helpful and willing to answer any questions I have. 10/10 would recommend 😁

Sunking ship is hands down the best aquatic store in the valley. Whether you are brand new to the hobby or have been in it for years, there is always something for you in Sunken Ship. They have the friendliest staff that are quick to help and answer any questions you may have.

With the new store officially open, I can say the Corta family pulled it off once again. But this time a little better ;). With there being over 2,000 sqft of usable store space, 20+ people can comfortably fit into this new store while not feeling crowded. The blood, sweat, tears, and some splinters that went into this store are so unimaginable, no one would believe it unless they were there. I am ecstatic to continue to see the potential this company has and the smiles it brings to people faces.Cheers to many more happy customers to come!!

I'll just start by saying that I love both the Nampa and Caldwell location, I'm liable to go to both on any given day. I am just glad to see this business grow. I had a very specific request and Beau along with Kenzi made it happen. I am relatively new to the hobby, but everyone at Sunken Ship (both locstions) are knowledgeable and willing to help in any way they can. I highly recommend anyone who keeps glass boxes or is considering do so, definitely go here. Hands down the best around.

Staff is always very helpful and they have the cleanest tanks of any fish shop I've been to. This is the only place I go to for fish.
