I am compelled to share my recent experience with Kenworth Sales in Caldwell, and regrettably, it has been far from satisfactory.Lost Truck Incident:My semi-truck was inexplicably lost within their yard, leading to an incredibly stressful situation. Their initial response was to advise me to involve the Caldwell PD and file a police report. Several hours later, after much distress, I was informed by the police that my truck was in Kenworth Sales' parking lot. This mishap caused unnecessary strain and anxiety.Customer Service Response:Upon reaching out to their service writer, I was met with a response that labeled this incident as a "learning experience," a term that did little to address the inconvenience caused. The lack of a sincere apology or acknowledgment of the distress this caused was disheartening.Recurring Issues and Lack of Resolution:Subsequently, my truck has been back to their shop three times for the same issue, without a satisfactory resolution. Despite repeated assurances, I continue to receive invoices without a tangible fix to the ongoing problem. The delays in addressing our concerns, coupled with overselling when it comes to providing a timeline for repairs, have made it increasingly challenging to conduct business with them.Overselling and Lip Service:Kenworth Sales has a tendency to oversell their ability to promptly address issues. Lip service is provided, promising swift attention to our units, but in reality, the timelines are routinely extended, leading to frustration and downtime for our fleet.In conclusion, my experience with Kenworth Sales in Caldwell has been marked by a significant loss, recurring issues, and a lack of timely resolutions. As someone who values and invests in maintaining a fleet of semis/vac trucks, the challenges presented by this dealership make it increasingly difficult to continue doing business with confidence.I sincerely hope that this feedback serves as an opportunity for improvement and that future interactions with Kenworth Sales result in a more positive and efficient experience.

Hello my name is galdames Barber transportation LLC and I bring my truck to here because they said they are better than Peterbilt diller but they doing the overhaul and after 90 thuose miles my truck break down and they're not helping 😞 and now I bring to Peterbilt diller and I will be see how they are but All truckers never bring you truck to Kenworth of Caldwell Idaho there's not good mechanical there's just good for get you money 🤑

Hit or miss on if they communicate well Started off well last year but recently has fell off.. Service department seems to change leadership often and creates a questionable experience. Not entirely happy with the 2022 Kenworth Day Cabs purchased. Several issues from wiring to recalls that can't be serviced. The staff for the most part are friendly and there is a few that are very knowledgeable. The size of your fleet seems to determine the amount of help. This location can put off the vibe their bigger accounts will be handled differently.

BEST. DEALER. ANYWHERE!!!! We’ve been across the US, and this dealer has actual caring people! They help you get any issues fixed!! Plus they are open LATE!!! No dealer in our new home state of Utah stays open past 5, nor are they open on weekends! When does a trucker break down…….”after hours” or on the “weekend”. Thank you guys for being so awesome!!

Great bunch of people. Very courteous and most of all, knowledgeable. They don't waste any time. They were the only shop between Twin Falls and Caldwell that would even consider looking into our problem. Came in with an ABS issue on our trailer, they worked us in to their schedule and with in 20 minutes they found the problem and started the repair.Service: Brakes

Quite possibly the best service department and mechanics I have ever dealt with. I live in Nampa and whenever my truck needed service when I was home that's where it went. The service writer's knew who you were and what needed to be done and the mechanics could and would answer questions in such a manner to make you feel comfortable that they were more than competent. Never did I leave that shop only to find out that the repairs were not properly completed.

Very knowledgeable parts department. I didn't feel rushed or hurried at all when talking to them on the phone. I had two experiences with multiple employees on different days and both helped me immensely with my leaking emergency air line going to my trailer. They were out of the exact part so they went ahead and fabricated it for me to spec. Above and beyond the call!! Thank you 😌

Fix a problem that I've had for almost 2 years the staff are extremely friendly courteous and professional they explained everything too me every step of the way the. I would give 5 stars if it weren't for the timing issue, however they are good so im still willing to give them my business.

These guys are awesome. Very friendly, very nice, and very efficient. I had a problem I noticed during my pretrip, and they had me in and out in a matter of a few hours... And on a Sunday. Great people here.

If you want your truck fixed DO NOT take it to Kenworth sales. They were supposed to service the truck and weld the frame on a trailer, they didn’t put the radiator cap back on and they cut an air line for the air bag on the trailer and claimed that everything was good to go. When I did a walk around I found the problems and they fixed the air line and put a new radiator cap on. I took the truck back the next week to have them put a part that they had to order on and when I went to pick it up I found that they had broke a piece of the fiberglass hood so I asked about it but they are not interested in fixing it. If you do take your truck there you better do an extensive walk around and check everything they touch cause they can tear up a metal ball with a rubber hammer.Service: Oil change

I deal with Carl and the service department on regular basis I believe overall the shop does a good job and is efficient like any place in today's economy there's a revolving door at the bottom with new guys that might drop the ball once in awhile but overall I like their work the professional attitude and I will continue doing business there

Thank you for being open late, even on the weekend! And having our idler pullies!So many places are only open bankers hours & dont give a damn about us truck drivers. 12/28/2019 at 9pm Steve went above and beyond helping me with a serpentine belt for an RV for crying out loud! He not only called me back but did extensive research to insure that he found the part and part number and even told me where to find it at Napa in Caldwell! If anyone reads this post including managers please give him a big pat on the back!
