Didn’t receive the last of my sausage order. Only 10 pounds of meat but it’s still owed. Also, I had one elk and 3 deer processed, ALL THE BURGER WAS RANCID, I’m afraid of opening a package of steak. Opened the first package of elk the day I received it, it was really bad. Defrosted a package of deer the next day and same thing. All my meat was clean prior to drop off. The meat had a green slim to it, not sure if machines weren’t cleaned or what? Maybe guts from previous meat??? Called numerous times and still haven’t heard back. There goes over $1000 of processing, should have done it myself. Too much meat, thought I would take it in… big mistake. Still have all the meat in a freezer waiting to hear back.

This is an awesome processor I got my elk and mule deer processed here and he did a fabulous job. Great turnaround, the jerky, the sausage all delicious. Professionally packaged highly recommend

I have done business with Lane and Big Game Specialties on multiple occasions. They have continued to be extremely kind and a pleasure to work with. Not only is the customer service top notch, but their wild game processing has been the best I've experienced in Idaho. I've had game processed in other facilities where the customer service was lacking, but Big Game Specialties has always treated me great and I will definitely continue to do business with them. They truly went above and beyond to accommodate my busy schedule. Great owner and business.

Great experience! Killed an elk in the backcountry. Flew in to Scott Patrick air and from there they coordinated with Lynn. Shipped my meat back to Kentucky and everything was smooth as silk. I give them a 10 from the communication to the final execution! And the summer sausage is the best ive ever had!

I never do reviews, but this is a situation that I can't pass up. I harvested a small buck, processed it in the field and packed it out. Brought it home washed and cleaned it all up I put it in game bags and put it back in the refrigerator for a few days waiting for them to be able to accept more game. I dropped off 4 game bags, two bags had a front and hind quarter in them. One bag was all the niblets and burger scraps and one bag had all the backstraps that had been already steaked up and just needed the little bit of fat trimmed up. There should have been 9 backstrap packages total...even after the trimming process. When I picked it up there was only 3 packages of backstrap. I was told, "Well, we had to trim the fat off and that's all that's left, sorry...it is what it is". I've harvested enough game and I've processed enough meat that I know when something isn't right. And... He gave me one small piece of something labeled, "tenderloin" but I had already eaten both tenderloins before dropping it off. How do you not know the difference?!? Also, three of the packages hadn't sealed properly and were already frost bitten when I got it and he never offered to reseal the packages. This guy screwed me!!! I hope you enjoy your free, stolen backstraps!! I will never use this company again and I will discourage everybody from using him in the future.
