Great little country diner, exactly what you’d expect. I got the $8 pick-4 meal, which was perfect proportions for me.My only complaint is that the bacon was seriously overcooked to the point of being pretty much inedible. It flaked and fell apart when even slightly touched. I gave mine to my husband to turn into bacon bits for his omelette.Other than the bacon, everything else was perfect, great service, great prices! Would definitely recommend!

It was a cute little cafe! The waitresses were nice and friendly.The food was pretty good! I got a biscuits and gravy which wasn't my favorite because it didn't have sausage in it but there were other yummy things on the menu. The hot chocolate was massive and creative! Definitely try this place out! We also loved the sayings on the wall.

Stopped into this quaint little café in Burley, Idaho, and picked up a "carry out to-go" order. I had never been to this establishment before, and I had no idea what to expect but was pleasantly surprised with EVERYTHING about the place. Great food, friendly fast and genuine service, and to top it off, the food was beyond good, much better than I had imagined or expected for sure. HIGHLY RECOMMEND all the way around. 👍👍

Got the Big Boy Burger and added grilled onions ;) Tasted pretty good has bacon and ham on it and came with a generous portion of fries :) was $12.72 for it all and took about 15 minutes think next time ima get it with jalapeños:) overall very good 👍

Server seemed sweet but didn’t seem like she was trained well. Her and another girl were talking about a customer that was upset. Something that shouldn’t be done on the floor when customers are around. The service was slow and food was okay. The building could definitely use some love. If you aren’t in a hurry and just need to get food in your stomach this place would be a good option. The other low reviews are accurate.

Charlie’s is definitely the place to go and have some very satisfying breakfast the food was just amazing. (Classic breakfast)The loaded hash browns are fabulous too.Just great good ol down home cookingThe best i have had this side of the Mississippi in a long time.I highly recommend this restaurant!!!!!The staff was just as friendly also.

Had lunch with friends here the other day. It was great! It's an old, maybe hesitant to say rundown building, but that adds to it's charm, I think. While you may fear an unhealthy dining experience, don't. The dishes were clean, and the food prepared apparently properly.The prices are low, but the food quality was great. If you like biscuits and gravy, order them! It's bacon gravy, and I had not had that before. It was great. The gravy was light in texture. It was not paste like, nor lumpy, nor grease. The biscuits were high and fluffy. The full order is large, be hungry!I didn't hear anything bad from my dining partners, and everyone finished their food. I assume the food they ordered was good as well.Charlie's Cafe has breakfast/lunch hours so be early. However we were there on a Saturday at 12:30 pm and had the place pretty much to ourselves. The service isn't the fastest, but it was good. I will certainly pick Charlie's Cafe over Denny's or Perkins from now on, given the chance.

UPDATE: Charlie's recently did a remodel and they didn't only change the decor. Today I had a party melt and tots and I challenge you to find a more hot and fresh meal! I'd had the same meal before but this topped even meals of days gone by! If you haven't been what are you waiting for?!Every restaurant can have an off day but so far, after 3 years of going back, this place has been consistent. The servers are efficient and friendly and the food is even better.
