Great and friendly staff. They have a wonderful rewards program and if there's any issues with club prices not reflected on my receipt, they honor them and correct the issue.Adding more products and shelves! Check out the new layout soon!

A few months ago a baker used her bare hands and ruined my daughter’s birthday cake when she put her bare finger in it. (Only a couple hours before her party) I wrote it off but was pretty annoyed.Today I got called an “F@&$? B!&”/“ because I asked to squeeze behind an employee, Melissa, while she was stalking Gatorade. I’m wondering if she was just wanting to go home already, I apologized for her having a bad day. She told me to shut up and freaked out! Of course I have said things after that and laughed out of shock. But what do you do when someone acts like that?I’m over this place Super 1 has better deals and nicer employees. Grocery Outlet is good as well.

First time in store in years - still nice and clean - with nice employees, reasonable prices and good service but was VERY disappointed in the Chinese takeout - I had orange chicken, fire chicken and chow me in. - everything was quite greasy and the chow mein had very little flavor. Would not order again and would not recommend it.

Wonderfully helpful people and good selection. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because they need help in the pharmacy. Every time I've been there they are backed up with an hours wait time. They were very kind but I don't think they have enough employees to keep up.

I only go to Safeway when I want something that is on sale. It never fails, when I get to the checkout the sale does not apply. The reasons are varied. Today I tried using my digital coupon it did not work. The checker said it was because I used the shopping service part of the ap. She took off $9.00 but should have been &20. I quit shopping there today and deleted their ap. I am so done!

Not all stores are equal! They're only as good as their employees, from my point of view. Meaning that the type of people that work there can totally make or wreck a person's day. And to be honest, if we left this element out, I would have to just say 'Yup, it's a grocery store'. This particular Safeway has great people working there. They're friendly, helpful and ready to assist with any issue that you may encounter. From not being able to find a particular product to issues with the rewards program, they've got you covered! The staff is always quick to offer a hand when needed. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for all Safeway stores as we have been to some where we have had those 'wreck your day' experiences, encountering some significantly less than helpful employees there but this one has some truly kind folks working in it. Pretty fair selection of goods as well. Overall great place to shop, by our standards and our preference for the area. They also have some great deals on a consistent basis, if you use the rewards card. The card even offers free products from time to time. We have gotten a full sized jar of Mayo, a bottle of sparkling water and a couple of iced coffee drinks, as examples of what you can get for free just for having a rewards card. It all depends on what they're offering at the time. They don't always have freebies but the points that you can earn (sometimes 2, 3, 4 and 5 times the points for buying certain items or spending a certain amount in 1 trip) make up for that. And you can use the rewards card to earn points to use to get certain items that they offer for free, cash off a purchase or for up to 1.00 a gallon off at locations that have a Safeway gas station. Pretty sweet deal. Let's face it, the times we live in have given people every reason to become thrifty shoppers so that buying groceries doesn't have to mean possibly putting off another bill. The Safeway rewards program is a fantastic way to save a little and make it easier on your family, no matter whether you need the help or not. It's always a wise idea to save some dough if you can. Of course, you could always buy yourself something nice with what you save on your grocery bill. You've earned it!

Produce needs to be fresh, red delicious apples were brown inside, oranges were pithy, English cucumber seemed firm when purchased but wroten 2 days later in my fridge. Many items way over priced. Need to stock stick Bic pens. The $5.00, 12 count shrimp mushy in 2 days. I like the people who work there. Thank you

Just about like every other Safeway I’ve been to.Clean with friendly employees. Seems smaller though at this one. Not as busy as Super 1 down the road. Not sure why since Safeway had better prices on more items and had more items in stock.

Most expensive place to shop in town. Even their sale prices tend to be higher than the regular prices at Super 1. Still, they occasionally have something you can't find at Super 1. I've noticed the staff is not as friendly here. And the equipment tends to be a bit run down... Always have to try two or three times with my credit card which works first try everywhere else.Their good sale items are almost always sold out. I went the first day of a sale on a buy 4 get a special price deal and there were only three of the item in the store, and that was the morning of the first day. I checked back later in the week and there was still the same three items sitting there. No possible way of getting the special price. Just a bait and switch.

Drove here from Canada to get a booster COVID shot in November of 2021. Showed up as a drop-in. Shot provided with no questions asked. Shot was free and they even gave me 10% of groceries. Never thought I would have to drive to the USA to get get free health care I was denied in my own country...

This particular store is frustrating to me. Safeway sells products at other locations that you can't purchase here. The Asian food in the deli is terrible. Sits in holding pans for too many hours. Looks and tastes bad. Cheap chicken Monday is good early in the day. However, at 6pm it's not so good...

Great prices and lots of surprising merchandise you would not think would be carried in a supermarket. This is really nice for a remote area like Bonners when you need to purchase a nice and reasonably priced gift. The floral department is especially wonderful when it comes to holiday and birthday florals...

Expensive and understaffed. You need their card to get decent prices and take advantage of sales. They don't stock well for sale items. Good selection, deli and hot food. Often leave food under lights too long so look before you choose.

A very nice full-service supermarket in Bonner's Ferry. Prices are higher than at other stores on name brands but the store brand is very good and competitively priced. Extensive bakery, floral, and deli, including hot food. Starbucks and a pharmacy located inside. Staff is very helpful.

The store is great, no complaints there. I just don't like having to use a savings card. If I am not scanning the item with my ap, or clipping the coupon I don't get the advertised savings at the register.

I was ready to check out today & the only check out open was the Express check out. I went over & no one was in line but the person said she couldn't help me because I have over 15 items. I told her there wasn't any other check out lanes open. No one was around & no one was in line & instead of helping me she started looking for someone else & by the time she found someone, we could've been through line & out. I spent over $100. & was so upset that it took longer to get another checker etc. If my Gdaughter wasn't with me I would have left my cart & went to Super1. Definitely making me reconsider where I shop. I usually support both local stores.

I don't really want to gripe much on this but we came in early in morning I would assume shortly after opening and had a bit of trouble trying to check out and the cashier had some difficulty operating the register and making change. Maybe make sure competent staff are on duty for all times of the day.

It was safeway . Stop for a deli bite . I had a turkey ham artesian bread . Its was good . They have Chinese food plates in the hot deli looked fresh and it was in late afternoon .

Vicki in floral could use some instructions on professionalism. I called to ask if I could order flowers and have them delivered, and before I could even finish my first sentence she cut me off and said No. Very rude, very unprofessional!

This is one crowded store! Stood at the customer service counter for 10 minutes, finally asked some one who was cleaning if they could find someone to help us. They were so busy no one was available! Polite staff, they just need more help!
