March 2023-I called Viking because my main line was clogged. Turns out tree roots were the culprit. I feel taken advantage of by this company because I am a single female who doesn't know better. They trashed my house, ruined my yard, their communication was terrible, and they are refusing to do anything about it. My street and yard are embarassing. There is mud all over the sidewalk, street, and they even tracked it all over my house and didn't attempt to clean it up. They left my toliet in my bathtub and I had to ask them to reinstall it. They cut my neighbor's powerline and their power went out. My neighbor had to call me to tell me what was going on because the company didn't give me a heads up. I spoke to the owner, Bill, and he could care less about my complaints. If you are thinking of using this company, think again. You will get taken advantage of and become the laughing stock of the neighborhood. Shame on them. I am seriously at a loss and I can't believe a company would treat someone this way.Update 10/5/23-Please observe the date of my review and the date Viking finally replied…SIX MONTHS later I finally received a lengthy response. The response is also dishonest, they never offered to fix my lawn. I had to pay a landscaper approximately $1000 to fix it. If they cared, surely they could have responded before now and taken action. They did nothing. Responding half a year later is insulting and an attempt to save face on the internet. Pay me back the money it cost to fix my lawn and then you can consider this resolved and I will edit my review.I also submitted a BBB complaint which they didn’t reply to AT ALL, even though as an accredited business they are required to reply.

I tired replacing the drain stopper but ended up unscrewing part of the drain pipes causing water to leak in our crawl space. I contacted Viking Plumbing and they took care of it within 24 hours! They replaced the waste and overflow quickly so we could use our master bath again. Great quality work at a fair price! We had questions about the water softener we had purchased from Viking over a year ago, so they sent a very nice, professional young man to our home to review the setup with my husband and made sure the system was working correctly. They did that service at no charge! Awesome service! That young man deserves a raise!

We used Viking a few years ago for a leak under the house. They were the only place that answered the phone at 5 am and came out right away. So when we had a few projects to do, we didn’t hesitate to call them again! They came out and did a free estimate. They were able to work with my schedule and came out on time. Johnny was great! A simple job of swapping out bathroom faucets got complicated when we found the contractor had mounted the sink so it covered half of the faucet holes! Long story but we tried 3 different faucets to see if they’d work. Johnny finally had to modify one to get it to work. Otherwise I’d be replacing the vanity top! So helpful and friendly!When we had another project pop up a few weeks later, I gave them a call again. Can't say enough about how well Viking Plumbing did on our recent job. We bought an older home on the Bench that ended up needing a full water line / sewer line replacement. Viking provided the best quote for even more work than three other plumbing services we contacted. It ended up being a major excavation spanning 4 days. The team (Johnny & Jeff) arrived on time each morning and worked hard throughout the day, allowing us to finish ahead of schedule. They did an excellent job and walked us through it each step of the project. Suffice it to say, Viking will be our go-to plumbers from here on out.Service: Sewer repair

A few weeks ago I called in with a slow bathroom leak late in the day. The next morning Tyler with Viking Plumbing arrived, diagnosed the issue and got it repaired in a timely matter. I had the mainline cleared out on 3/19/14 for $89 form another plumber. Then called Viking one year later, 3/29/15, after having the same problem. Paid $89. But in 19 days, had the same problem. They came out, charged me $208, and told me there was a problem with my drainline right about where my fence was, and it would cost $700 to repair. I decided to dig the hole - 4 feet deep - and found the line. I cut it open and found the maun problem. It was really backed up, at the cause if a rooter claw stuck in there. I called several times to ask if they wanted their claw back and could never get a reply from them. I was out $49 for parts - I installed a double cleanout right there - and a half day of my labor, which was cool, but I wanted the $208 back, and give their claw back. But never a callback from them. But I worked 4 hours, spent $49, and saved $700!Service: Drain cleaning

I had my kitchen faucet replaced on Friday, then on the following Wednesday, needed my water heater replaced. Both times, they were able to come out within a couple of days. Edited. I am happy with all aspects of the service except for the dust created from the concrete saw. Once they got to my house and jackhammered a hole in the floor they nearly tripled their cost estimate. Used a rock saw without water running to the blade, throwing huge amounts of rock dust in the air, creating a health and safety hazard as well as a huge mess in my apartment. They do not care to wear protective booties over their work boots like most plumbers and don’t think twice about tracking mud and dirt through your home. Crew showed poor work ethic, leaving at 2:00 after working for about 4 hours, leaving the job unfinished. Even if they couldn’t finish it in one day, to leave after such a short work day is inexcusable. By the end of the job, all was made right.

I’m a decorator doing a master bath for a client. I got one estimate that was outrageous. Having had the bath demoed I needed a plumber to work with my contractor. They came out the next day gave me their estimate and started the next day. Johnny Ray and Jeff were great. Along with the master bath, fixed two more problems my client had in his home. Absolutely impressed with this company. I called with a leaking pipe and was put on the schedule the next day as it was a slow leak and didn't think it counted as an emergency. The tech, Austin, called to say he was available to come earlier than my appointment if I wanted. He came and surveyed the issue and quoted me a price which I was pleasantly shocked it wasn't the arm and leg I was expecting. He fixed my issue quickly and said to let them know if there was any problems. I would and have recommended Viking plumbing to friends and family.Service: Plumbing pipe repair

We had a sudden leak that was causing water damage. Steve was our main guy for most of the job, he and his team were awesome! Very professional, showed up every day until it was done, and tested everything thoroughly. The fixtures they installed look great and he gave us some really good advice for future work. So this is the second time I have called Viking plumbing. The first was when I had a leak in my main water line. Their bid was 1000 under other bids. Unfortunately they were booked out a way and I needed the repair done immediately but I made a mental note of it. Well recently our garbage disposal went out and Steve came out to check it out. Managed to reset it and pull out what was obstructing it. And charged me nothing for the quick fix. I appreciate this so much that I just had to leave a review. I've needed a plumber 3 times in the past 5 years and have used Viking on all 3 occasions. I've never been disappointed. They responded quickly and solved my problems at very reasonable prices. My most recent need was a leaky shower/tub assembly. Don immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it. I read online reviews prior to selecting a plumbing company and was not disappointed. Viking Plumbing is a top notch company and I will be using them every time I have a plumbing need! Joey and Don were the best, very professional, knowledgable, honest, hardworking and got the job done right! 100% satisfied!We have absolutely no doubts in recommending Viking Plumbing. We got a speedy response to toilets and shower backing up unexpectedly. The sewer line was cleared up after doing camera work to discover tree root damage. At this point we realized the sewer pipe did need to be replaced. Ron and Lisa in the office were professional, kind and patient with trying to get this scheduled. Ben and Austin worked tirelessly to remove, replace and move the new sewer pipe. When faced with any problems they worked their way around them quickly and effectively. Both Ben and Austin were professional, on time and worked very hard to achieve the job through to an approved inspection! We were hugely impressed with Lisa who was always on hand to advise and guide us through the process and status. All in all a really happy experience and we are 100% satisfied with the results and would heartily recommend!

My experience with Viking Plumbing was brief but very pleasant. I could not turn the outside faucet on my house so assumed it was needing some kind of repair. From the first phone call to Viking I was treated warmly. I did have a visit to see what the problem was. To my embarrassment the plumber was able to turn the nozzel the first try!!! I clearly need to work on my upper body strength. I offered a payment for the visit but was turned down. My experience has always been you have to pay for the trip out even if you don't end up needing anything done. I appreciate the gracious response to my crazy plumbing request. I will definitely be call Viking when I do in fact need a plumber. Highly recommend.

I had one company with great reviews bid a toilet replacement for me for $1,000.00. That was not happening! I went to Home Depot and bought my own toilet then started shopping around for a new plumber with great reviews. I found Viking Plumbing. Not only did I save over 60% from the other companies bid, I found my new plumber for all my projects. Their work was great and their company was pleasant. I can't wait to hire them back to replace my Polybutelene (grey pipe) water lines in my crawl space.

After getting an insanely expensive quote from another company, I thought I'd get a second opinion. I'm very glad I did, as Viking came out to my house for a free estimate (which ended up being 1/4 the cost of the other guys) and had the work done the same day. The repairs came with a 5 year warranty, which is great. The technicians were honest, friendly, and professional. Would happily recommend Viking to family and friends!
