At approximately 3:00 pm on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving our oven stopped working. Total panic ensued since we were hosting Thanksgiving the next day and there were still pies and casseroles to bake and of course the Turkey to roast. After trying our usual appliance repair I reached Donna at Home Appliance Service. She went right to work asking me questions about our stove model, how and when it stopped working and generally showing concern and empathy. She was pretty certain she knew what the problem was and began a search for the part. She had one. She sent Lucian to the warehouse and he was able to fit us in on his way to another appointment. He arrived at our home at 4:30, pulled the oven, replaced the part and had us back up and running by 5::30. It’s still hard to believe they went to such effort to help us. We are so grateful and will never use another appliance repair service and will recommend them to everyone we know. Thank you Donna and Lucian!!

I dropped off my my kitchen aid mixer for a maintenance re-greasing. It was working well and smoothly when I dropped it off. They told me it was all fixed and ready for pick up. When I got it home it had a loud growling sound when I ran it. They said it shouldn’t sound like that & to please bring it back for them to correct it. They called me to let me know they broke the speed lever while working on it and they were waiting for the replacement part to come in. Later the following week they told me it was ready for pick up again. I went to get it and got it home to find that the speed lever wasn’t moving smoothly it now jumps ahead to speed 4. The growling of the gears is still present. We brought it back in to show them. They refused to admit that it was running improperly or take ownership over their mistake. We asked for a refund and that they cover the cost of repairs through Kitchen Aid services. They begrudgingly refunded my money but did not agree to cover the repairs it will cost me to fix the issues they caused to my mixer. They also charged $50 for parts I found out only cost $11. Based on this experience I would not use them again.

I had a kitchen aid mixer that wasn’t working. After calling around I found Home appliance Service, and I am SO glad I did. I took my mixer in on Wednesday. The problem was diagnosed on Thursday morning. Then Thursday afternoon I got a call that it was finished. He even tracked down a part and went and picked it up! Where do you get service like that? A great little caveat.. there is a small gift shop in the front with really nice paintings and very cool jewelry made from spoons. I will be back, if not for appliance service for the awesome rings and other jewelry! Need a small appliance fixed five them a call!!

We had a 20+ year old garage fridge repaired. Price was fair and service was fast. Repairman was friendly and down to earth and showed up on time. He made sure the rest of the fridge was working well before recommending the repair too.

My LG fridge completely died. The office staff was very friendly in setting up my service appointment and helping me sort out the warranty process. Don was my technician and he was very friendly and respectful of my home. Thanks to home appliance I saved roughly $550 on my repair when they simply could have said "oh shoot you're out of warranty". Very pleasant experience.

Good company, friendly crew and perfect service moving my w/d out & back so new flooring could be installed. They were very careful and mindful of the task in the quite tight space. Good suggestions replacing the water taps and getting new hoses. Reasonable price and they met the schedule perfectly keeping the appointments. We have a Scotsman ice maker.The first repair company came out and cleaned it and said it would take care of our ice cubes which were completely falling apart look like crushed ice. Of course they didn’t fix it very little leery and dissatisfied.Then I called Home Appliance they came out and evaluate it and said there is a part that need to be replace a valve they will need to order the part.Came back couple days later fixed it on believable it works like it was when I first bought it.Money well spent and we want to buy one time or pay for a repair one time.Thank you

Chris came to fix my washer, he was polite and on time. He ordered parts and only one came in on time, the other was back ordered. He was apologetic even though it was beyond his control. Finally the other part arrived on a Fri. and service was scheduled for Mon. a.m.. Chris found time in his schedule to fit the repair in on Fri. late afternoon. Thank you! Now I do not have to go another weekend without my washer. Chris is awesome! From the first call to their office to the time that Don arrived at our door they knew exactly what needed to be done. We had an LG refrigerator that had a compressor failure. With the info that we gave them on the phone, they immediately knew the problem and had it fixed quickly. We would HIGHLY recommend this company to everyone. These people are phenomenal. They are courteous, helpful and not there to just get your money. I can't say enough about these people. If they can save you money with something, they will without asking. I had a switch in my microwave that they were going to replace but when they removed it he noticed it was just a spring. Now I know any other company would have just replaced the whole switch instead of taking the time to fix the spring. They saved me money and being retired on a fixed income that means a lot. So if your looking for someone to repair any appliances these people are your go to. They're GREAT.

Today we had Joel from HAS, Inc to our house to repair our gas stove and dishwasher, both stopped functioning. He took 50 minutes to replace the oven igniter and clean out the clogged drain system in the dishwasher. The price for his service was a fraction of purchasing a new stove and dishwasher. Woke up the other morning and our refrigerator had a few drops of water inside on the top and had a buzzing sound going on ! Home appliance repair was able to send Mike out the same day to look at it! Mike knew right away what was going on, explained to me in detail and told me the part was under warranty and would order it! A few days later Mike came back And installedthe new part! Very professional and took time to explain to me what was going on! Such a great experience! Thanks again Mike and Home Appliance Service pair in Boise, highly recommended!

This is a terrible company. Our dishwasher was not operating correctly due to standing water after running for a cleaning cycle. They charge $75 to let you know that the pump isn't working on your dishwasher. No kidding Sherlock! Then they bait you with they will take off the $75 if you pay the $400 repair bill. When I called the office the lady said its standard in the industry. What an honest industry to be a part of. Carl

I called for a replacement circuit board for a microwave oven ($125). their price was competitive with the 4 other sources I researched (even @m@zon prime!). they told me they could have the part in 2 business days, and even possibly tomorrow afternoon. that made Home Appliance Svcs. Inc. standard availability time faster than the others, and saved me $20 over the next lowest priced competitor with 2 day shipping. plus they give a discount for military personnel.p.s. to Carl in another post - the info in their response to your post is standard in the repair industry. charge for a home service call and diagnosis, then put that charge toward repair if you opt for it. it is unrealistic to expect them to work for you for free.
