I found this store shortly after moving to Boise while looking for retailers that carried Fromm dog food. They always have what we want in stock and have taken the time to see if a specific type of treat we like could be special ordered. The staff is cheerful, helpful and pretty chill when my puppy helped himself to the bulk treats (I’m sorry for that, Rudie on the other hand is not very apologetic about snagging some extra goodies). Shout out to Karla for helping us on our last visit! We appreciate the great customer service!

I have two cats, Luca and Oliver. It is important to me that my boys have.the highest quality food, snacks, and toys. Bark n’ Purr makes doing that easy. Independently owned and operated, Bark n’ Purr is my favorite Idaho pet store. They carry high-quality products. Their employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. They have an outstanding selection of products for dogs as well.Highly Recommended!!!

Friendliest Service, knowledgeable and so helpful. I stopped in to buy a sweater and booties for Samson. (Shih Tzu) The salt chips get stuck in Samson’s paws every 2 seconds so I wanted something to help protect his paws when out taking care of business. This is Samson’s first outing in the boots a little awkward but him just moving shows there is potential to liking the boots. Thank you ladies for all your help.

Quality products, staff is very helpful! They always have a bin of beautifully decorated doggie cookies for purchase which is fun for birthdays & holidays. They keep track of the type of food we buy so if we forget which type we bought or send someone else to pick up dog food, staff can look it up. We earn rewards on the food & product purchases so that's helpful.

Went in to wash my dog and was told it was by appointment only. No where online does it say you have to call to book and there isnt a way to book online. Workers were really friendly, and I was able to make an appointment, but very frustrating while trying to plan a bath during the work week.

Took my 2 dogs in for the self wash, which was so easy to use. The staff were amazing and so helpful. They have all the grooming tools for you to use. Will definitely go back.

I can't say enough good things. I was completely lost trying to find a new food that would be good for my puppy but safe for my older dog who has so many allergies. Absolutely love this shop! We get our cat litter here and occasionally food when we don't have time to make our own. All the staff are so kind and helpful and will even offer to carry your large items to your car.

Absolute favorite please to take my pup! staff is so friendly, and so helpful. They offer the best food and treats for your dog. Along with toys, cat food, bones, clothes, booties, leashes. Everything you could need is here. I am so impressed with the amazing service and clean environment this shop offers with reasonable pricing and award systems. My wife and I were in Boise to visit family and we wanted to get something for our dogs.This is a top quality pet store! Loads of fun merchandise, food, and necessities for our furry friends.Staff here was very helpful and friendly. Our mini dachshunds got along well with them (always a good sign).We would definitely recommend this spot over the pet store downtown by a mile. We'll be coming back next time we're in the state!

Driving though and both employees were very helpful. Thr lady that helped me with a flea/tick collar was very knowledgeable and educated me on a chemical free collar. Live this okave if I lived hrer this would be my go to pet store. Great variety of dog food, treats, toys and they carry a large selection of ruff wear leashes, collars and harnesses.

Went in to get a cold weather sweater for the gurlfriends dog. Selection was limited, and sizes were too. The store was clean, warm, well lit, and the staff was friendly.We wound up getting a sweater at a fairly reasonable price, and a dog treat cookie, also at a fairly reasonable price.All in all, a decent dog-centric store, close to her apartment. I'm sure we'll shop here again in the future.

I love shopping at the Bark n’ Purr! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They greet me by name every time I come in. They carry all the best brands of pet food, treats, and toys.
