Excellent place to take your time have lunch and enjoy company. Pretty good Pizza and plenty of gifts and antiques for sale. Plus beer and whatever else you need for the trail or trip. It's not modern and there's no greeter but those are not bad things. Good ole small town mercantile. Everything you need.

The food was great but the owner and cashier was rude, the owner didn’t have a good attitude and didn’t come check on us. My mom was putting on the parmesan cheese on pizza and saw it was 2 years past the expiration date, it was disgusting. I DO NOT RECOMMEND, THERE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE.

Fantastic food and service.Those 2 girls were working their butts off.Great chicken fried steak dinner.And even got a Pizza to go.I forgot what being in Blanchard felt like.HOME 😊Update. No longer serving food, closed the kitchen .Sure miss those Friday dinners and Debbie's great pizzas

Editing my previous great review.After a great visit a couple days ago with my son we came back today with the wife. I didn't know they closed a half hour after our arrival (or we wouldn't have ordered).After we ordered they told us they were closing in half an hour and made it very clear and blatantly obvious they were annoyed with us. Very, very blatantly. Wow.

Stopped into the Blanchard store. Hadn't been there in years. It is awesome to see that they have added a little eatery. Very nice ladies working there. They still have some of the old floors and other things I remember from years ago.

Place is a bit of a throwback, it's clean well taken care of set a reminder grocery stores and small places to get something to eat that you hardly ever see anymore. The gift shop was great and the prices were really reasonable. The guy working in there was really super nice. I just love going in there and would definitely recommend it to anyone and for sure will visit there again when I'm in the area. It's one of those places I really think people should support so we don't lose them forever

Love this little store. The owner is always very sweet. I'm a Blanchard local...don't know what I'd do without this place for emergency goodies. Best peanut butter cookies in Idaho. Coming in for ice cream is always a treat.

There is so much history there!! I love the old fashion uniqueness of the building. The food there is delicious & fair priced. The desserts are all homemade from scratch & same with the soup. It is absolutely fantastic. The store also has cool antiques & a gift store department with all kinds of neat signs, nick nacks, & holiday decor. Very friendly customer service as well.

It's a cool shop and has your typical quick needs supplies. We were told the pizza was amazing but we got ice cream instead. One of employee/manager was rather rude though.

Very cute..needs a sign on the main road been to Blanchard twice and would've never have known if for not speaking to a local:) kind people and the kids enjoyed the ice cream. I got a bird house!!!

This is the cutest place I've seen in many many years! Reminds me of a place here in Darrington Washington that we frequented for ice cream cones and the same hardwood floors Way Back in sixties and seventies(others too before my time) which I can tell this place has that kind of History! I come to your Mercantile every time I'm in town visiting my daughter and her family :-) even bought my grandkids the cutest stuff from there! You have a great staff hope to see you the next time I'm through there

If you are staying at Stoneridge Resort or just passing through, you have to stop here at this quaint and fun grocery, what not, vintage, gift shop and cafe. The owner is a great lady. Thank you for being so nice to us.

Blanchard Mercantile is a well preserved local landmark, offering excellent pizza and deli sandwiches. They are doing a great job of providing a yester-year shopping experience as a small town grocery store, and dine in gathering place for locals and visitors.Always clean, with helpful, friendly staff.

ABSOLUTELY FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS SPOT!!!! My wife and I are painters and try to have lunch close to our jobs as possible, this time we scored big time! This is a antique store, Nik nak, grocery and deli all in 1. The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD, awesome prices and great portions for your dollar. This is a small town feel, set in a turn of the century store front that was actually a hotel and train depot in its early life. The decor is much like that still today, but with a modern feel. If your looking for a gift, a great meal or just an old junk collector, this is your spot and a must see tucked away in this sleepy little town. Next time your passing by, pull on in, it's worth your stop.

Upon arrival at the store we were confronted at the front door concerning the way we parked in front. We were from out of town and there were no other customers. We were unaware there was a “right way”. Instead of politely asking us to move our vehicles the woman was rude and completely unprofessional asking us what possesses people to park like this. She just wouldn’t leave it alone and had us held at the door and we couldn’t continue into the store. We moved the vehicle which made her leave us alone and we then continued to look around the store. She asked someone in our group rudely if we were just there to look or what. This woman turned the day into a horrible experience. We have been visiting Blanchard for 16+ years and have never met someone even close to how awful she treated us. We didn’t purchase anything from this store due to the awful customer service.
