It’s currently our vet office and I’ll state my reason for the rating. It has gotten to the point it takes a month to get your pet seen in this office and an emergency if you miss the short morning window is a minimum two week wait, forcing you to an expensive emergency vet office. I understand the population increase, we have been going here for the better part of 14 years, it used to be same day or at least same week for appointments. It’s disappointing that they have taken on more than they can manage IMO and cannot give faster, better services. I will say, and the reason we stay is they are great with our dogs and really care, and are always genuine and trustworthy with great vets and knowledge.

There always so nice. They did a great job with the 4 ferral cats I have brought in to get fixed over the last few years. And my new puppy has been here a couple times and they treat her excellent and there prices are never unreasonable. I would definitely recommend them.

We have been going to Northwoods for seven years, they have been extremely compassionate and have courtesy. This morning was the second dog we have had to put down. Once again they went above and beyond to fit us in to their busy schedule to take care of our dog in a very sensitive way. We really appreciate the "candle of remembrance" to keep the office quiet.

Chris greeted Bella and I, which was so nice. Dr Hunt was so good on examining Bella and asking about her quality of life in general, as I was scared I'd have put her down today. Bella is still able to jump and move well but was starting to eat less and drinking a ton of water. We decided to go with some treatment, and will see if she responds and it's helpful. Either way, it's safe to say they 100% care, I highly recommend this office. So grateful for another day with her.Thanks Team & Dr. Hunt

We have been taking our dog to Northwoods for a few months now, and have been very happy with them! The office staff, the techs and the vets are all amazing. Everyone is very friendly and they work hard to get you seen if you need an urgent appointment. Our last vet was very expensive and always recommended a lot of unnecessary tests, and they are far different from this, very affordable, and only recommend things that are necessary. Cannot recommend them enough!

Recently moved to the area and had a vet emergency with one of our dogs. We were not an established client yet, but they were able to squeeze our dog in for a visit and have been very good about follow-up. Yes, they are a busy clinic, but this should be expected when you have growth in a small area. I'm thankful that there is a reliable clinic with great veterinarians, close to my home with kind and caring staff.

I love my Northwoods vets -- they've helped us through a few health issues with our dogs, they've followed up if they've had to connect us to surgery centers etc. I live 30 min away with many many vets in between my home and this office -- however I would not consider a different vet -- these are our people!!

Our little MuShu had an ear infection and they squeezed us in. This was our first time there as we had just found out our regular vet was no longer practicing. They got us in for a same day appt. Staff was professional and prompt. We will go back and are happy to say they are our regular vet now.

I am very impressed with this veterinarian clinic. Expert care was delivered to my dog (aka one of the greatest loves of my life!) Staff is very knowledgeable and efficient and they informed me very well about pre and post procedure protocols. I felt very prepared and knew what to expect, which is something that is important when you are entrusting the life of your pet with someone. I highly recommend this clinic.

Dr Clovis is very knowledgeable, very kind, and gives you a variety of options with his professional opinion so you are educated in making the best decision for your pet. I’ve followed him here from his prior clinic because he is so amazing. He has been our vet for going on 5 years and is beyond amazing at his job and understanding the animals. We have gone in for routine all the way up to gastrointestinal issues, and for one of our animals that was hit by a truck. His level of care and kindness is great!

I needed my dog spayed and after calling many vets, they were able to get her in and at the most reasonable price. They were so friendly, it was worth the 30 minute drive to get there. I would definitely recommend this place

Simply the Best. Northwoods veterinary hospital. I highly recommend this place. Why do I give it five stars and why do I recommend this place? They help me through one of the most difficult decisions I had to make in my life. That horrible word euthanization. They're compassion and respect and complete information of the process was beyond exceptional. Dr Brittany my hats off to you and Dr Mike the whole staff took care of my Tony Tiger (17 years) From the moment I called to taking care of him. Even after the procedure cleaning him up and wrapping him up in his favorite blanket. He was carefully placed in my arms. Put her hand atop of mine We are so sorry for your loss. Please call if you need anything. I was very sad at the moment but completely blown away. By the actual caring and professionalism and respect shown by everyone at Northwoods veterinary hospital. Five stars two thumbs up..A few days later I received a sympathy card. ( Shown in my photos) if you stay to the end of this story this is why I highly recommend Northwoods veterinary hospital. Northwoods was recommended to us by our puppies breeder, so needless to say ot was our first visit, the clinic was extremely clean and the staff and Dr. Mike were very nice and down to earth. We will be going back for sure!

I have been a client since 2006. As of today, I will no longer be taking my pets to this business. Appointments are weeks out, well, that's to be expected with the influx of new residents. What really got me was when I asked if there was a cancellation list. I was told that I could call in daily to check. BUT, if there was, I would be charged $89.00 for an "urgent care" visit. Wait just a minute....you have a cancellation where you will be losing revenue if not filled and I pay a penalty for filling it? Who was the genius that thought this one up?
