The best gas station in Arco - easy access and wide lanes for trucks and trailers. The shop has some fun local items worth picking up (baseball caps, beanies, belts and bags). There are condom machines in the men's bathroom... just in case. The cashier was kind and efficient.

Terrible service. The lady working told us that the kitchen wasn't fully open (it was 6:45) but that she was making some extra breakfast sandwiches. We waited around assuming she was going to put them in the hot box. Instead she gave them to a couple of men who came in after us. They thanked her for making them the sandwiches. Not only did we not get any food due to waiting for sandwiches that she was specifically making for others, (even tho "the kitchen isn't fully open") but she was also rude for no reason. We didn't even say anything about the sandwiches just grabbed some coffee and went to pay. She was extremely rude and unprofessional.

Jack's Travel Plaza was formerly a Texaco and is now a Conoco. It has easy in and out to the highway great for vehicles with trailers. It has a great convenience store with a nice little sit-down Deli area.

My husband and I just stopped in for coffee and a muffin and received the most wonderful reception. Our interaction with different employees was consistently friendly and courteous. We left very impressed and will definitely stop everytime we're this way! Thank you for being amazing!! 😊

Good food for a fair price even in a really small town. We got the JoJos which were a good price. The chicken strips were a bit expensive, but everything tasted great. I was pleasantly surprised.

The restrooms are clean and there's plenty of parking, which is good because this place gets crowded. It's definitely the nicest (and biggest) gas station c-store in town. We decided to eat a fast lunch there, and the chicken tenders looked fast. A local customer in line in front of me ordered a "4-by-4," which turned out to be 4 chicken tenders and 4 potato wedges. She warned me it was a lot of food, and she was right. We three adults shared two 4x4s and didn't finish it all. The chicken tenders were massive. I saw a Jack's employee in the back room cutting whole potatoes into wedges, so it's all made in the store. Buy some extra dipping sauces because you'll probably want them with a 4x4. By the time we left every table was full of people and there was a line for the grill (burgers, etc.). Popular place.UPDATE: Back again a year later. Just as clean. Food just as good. They'll bend over backward to make you satisfied.

I'm gonna do this as a pros and cons so that way anyone can see the good and bad based on my opinion.First the pros. Clean bathroom, always a place to park which is free, great food for on the go or for dining in. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Plenty of snacks and drinks/beer to choose from and an ATM if you need it. All the workers are super friendly and helpful.Cons. Parking area for big trucks has a few potholes that need to be bladed but it's gravel. What do you expect. It's free parking for Christ's sake. There's no showers.I would've given it 5 stars had there been showers.

TL;DR: Very rude anti-Veteran owner. Stores food in the men's restroom. Giant potholes in parking lot. Rude customers.Full Review: To start off I want to say is that one day I was in there the new owner was berating a local disabled vet for not working, what a fine personality on that one. Just because you sit-in your ass at the site doesn't mean you know jack all about who should be working and why.I had a Ruby River priced hamburger cooked by a guy who looked like he just crawled from under a car, it was tasty but the flies and smell of air conditioned sewer air were a little distracting. The 13 year old picking her noise behind the counter almost made me leave, but I was half way through my burger by then.Paying was easy, but the short haired cashier lady might as well have been a robot for the amount personality she showed. I might have told a joke for levity but I feared "triggering" her.Lastly the customers didn't help, there was a large crowd of locals talking about women being good for nothing and referring to President Obama as "the big eared jungle bunny."[Update as of 6/18/18]An acquaintance of mine told me the truck stop was not selling trucker showers today because they are storing ice cream in the showers, which are located in the men's restroom. I called to verify and was cussed out by the cashier, who also verified the story. Yes, you read that right. This rank disgusting hell hole is actually storing food that they intend to sell to customers in the men's restroom. How disgusting can you get?

Nice place. Convenient for travelers. RV dump and plenty of truck parking. The food is great. Their juicy burgers are legendary. Best of all is the friendly customer service. I'm adding Jack's to my list of favorite places.

It is currently the cheapest way to get gas near Arco Idaho come to Conoco at Jack's Travel Plaza and use your Conoco card through the app at the pump you will get a $0.25 per gallon discount which is awesome if you have a Giant gas tank and trying to fill that puppy up

Decent store, prices ok for where the store us at. Customer service is lacking. Wat h out for the huge potholes. You could lose a small car easily or bend an axle on an RV.

Loved the RV dump and filled up with diesel no problems. The RV dump makes us plan for a fuel stop here everytime we pass though.

All of the urinals have been removed from the men's room and it reeked like raw sewage every time I've been in there. The parking lot is also a mess of pot holes.
