The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to assist. Checking out was quick and efficient. Overall, a top-notch experience at Petco Waikele that met my expectations.

Staff is very friendly and seem knowledgeable each time I go. They have a variety (mostly dogs and cats) for such a small store. They also have a self grooming wash station for pets which is cool.

There are always deals. Just have to look. We even was able to order an outdoor kennel with an employer with free shipping to our house. That was great.

This Petco is pretty small and as such they can't carry as many products as the larger stores. I went to this location because it is the closest to my home. We needed to switch our dog from puppy food to adult dog food since she just turned a year old last month and her puppy food is nearly gone. Since she is a small dog we wanted to get the medium size bag of food instead of the large bag that lasted us over 7 months. When I went to the Orijen Dog Food display there was only the smallest size and the largest size. I was told they do not stock the medium size due to space limitations and that I should go to the Pearl City location if I wanted the medium size. I ended up getting the large bag to save me a trip since it was almost closing time for them. I bought the one and only 25-lb. bag of Orijen Regional Red they had left. It came with a free bag of dog treats. (I got the Acana Brand Lam and Apple)Despite the smaller inventory this store does have a little bit of what the larger stores carry. I like Petco because they have upped their standards and no longer sell pet foods that are below par. Orijen is probably one of the best brands out there if you want to feed your dog grain-free kibble but do not want to go full on raw food. We had our dog on raw food but my mom said it was too inconvenient and she also worried about power outages and how the 30 lbs. of frozen meat for Bella might spoil if we had a big storm that cut power for days. So we did end up compromising with the grain-free food and Bella seems to like it well enough even if it isn't the raw foods she loves.Overall, this location is OK if you want the smallest or largest size dog food and you feed your dog Orijen.(Update on this review.) Bella got very sick on the Orijen Regional Red dog food. Reading the reviews several people said the new and improved higher protein formula made their dogs vomit which is exactly what happened to Bella. She is still not well today so I returned the bag of dog food and was refunded the $119 and change I paid without a problem. I bought the Acana brand Lamb and Apple flavor but Bella's stomach is still upset and she won't even eat her all meat treats. A man in line said his dogs love Orijen but he feeds them the Original formula in the blue bag. So the puppy formula is OK and the Original formula seems to also be OK. But steer clear of the Regional Red unless your dogs already eat that flavor and are fine with it.The sales staff was very helpful the night I went in to purchase the Orijen. The same cashier that rang me up that night refunded the Orijen and rang up the Acana Dog Food today. She even let me keep the free treats since Bella didn't get sick from the Acana treats. That was really nice, I thought.

Very aggressive dog with lightweight female owner could hardly handle him in store. I saw her twice. The dog got aggressive n wanted to attack the dog behind me. I was terrified 😨. Now I walk in and rush out n only go if I cannot find the product anywhere else.

Ordered and paid for dog food onnline and it took me over 20 minutes to pick up the product. The telephone link to tell the store I was outside did not work. The staff couldn't find the order. I went to get the food off the shelf myself,but they would not let me leave. Food was finally found (w/ the help of 2 other employees) mislabeled for my girlfriend to pick up. I even had the "Your product is ready for pick-up" email, but that didn't help.

This Petco is great. The staff are super helpful and friendly.The Veterinarian in the back of the store (technically NOT Petco, but Hi Pets Vet Clinic: hipetsvetclinic.com ) is absolutely amazing. We trust them with all 4 of our dogs. They won't over charge you for stuff you (or your pets) don't need either. They actually help us save money and help us make the best and most affordable decisions regarding our dogs health. Highly recommend Hi Pets Vet for your pets' health care needs. You won't be disappointed!

I went here because I went to the grab food from the Friday food trucks they had in the parking lot.The employees are really nice. One of the employees came up to me, greeted me, and asked if I needed help. She did check with her Manager if there was the certain cat food in stock but her Manager said, whatever is on the shelf is all they had. So, that is the reason I gave this place 4 stars. They didn't have the item I needed for my cats.Great employee though... She gets a five star.

Since this Petco was located in the Waikele shopping center parking was abundant. Conveniently close to Lowe’s. Store was very clean and organized. The two staff members I interacted with were very knowledgeable about the store and merchandise. My conversations were pleasant and I was treated with respect. Employees presented a caring attitude.

Went into just check their cat items. My wife and I struck up a conversation with one of the workers. I believe her was Christina. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I did not know that dry food makes some cats shed more. Also that fatty acids like fish in wet food is beneficial to cats.

Since I work as a pet 🐕 sitter, Petco is one of the stores that is a must have destination for everything you need for you and your fur-baby. They have everything from some OTC pet meds to toys to food. You are also welcome to take your pet with you to the store!!! They just need to be leashed at all times 💖🤗.

Went on a Friday to pick up a certain cat treat that the town location has been out of for over a week.They were fully stocked with kitty foods and treats.They aren't as busy as the Honolulu location. Staff was really nice as usual.

I went in for a self serve dog wash. The area wasn’t ready and the workers seemed annoyed that they had to clean it. I waited 10 minutes for them to clean it just for them to tell me there was anther person ahead of me. Don’t know how long that person was waiting but I will not be going back there again people were rude and unprofessional. Also the self wash station if pretty much no different than bathing them at home. Waste of $15
