Food was delicious, and the service was great. The employees there are very kind. I strongly recommend anyone who is visiting Kauai to stop by this place and get something to eat. ✨A warm, cozy environment to have a delicious & authentic Hawaiian dinner!✨My partner and I stopped by after a long day in the area and were warmly greeted by the very friendly staff. We got the BBQ Mixed platter and BBQ chicken dish. The food was fresh, quick and delicious - the best meat we've had on the island. Environment was family friendly, cozy and clean. Would recommend 10/10 to anybody. Thanks for having us - sending aloha your way, from Canada!

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The food is too-notch!! I had the BBQ beef plate. It was delicious!!! The thin-cut meat was SO flavorful and it was cooked perfectly! The mac salad was creamy and delicious as well.My husband had the seafood combo plate with shrimp and fish. He also chose BBQ chicken for the non-seafood portion of his meal. The shrimp was hot and crunchy. The chicken was tender. And the fish was moist and meaty.We’ve been on the island for a week now. This is, by far, the best place we’ve eaten.

Best food ! The menu featured a variety of classic Hawaiian dishes, showcasing the flavors and culinary traditions of the islands. standout dish, pork ribs which was tender, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The smoky aroma and the melt-in-your-mouth texture of the pork were a true testament to the authentic Hawaiian cooking style.

Stopped by after hiking and famished. The staff was very welcoming and we ordered quickly and food arrived quickly. Gives you a real feel for what life is really like in Hawaii not just in the manicured areas. Delicious food and very relaxed atmosphere. The barbecue platter is huge and lots of food for one or the perfect amount for 2.

Visiting from ArizonaThe drive to the west side of the island was scenic walking in very clean the atmosphere is peaceful and LiLi was very kind and nice to talk to. Sat down and the food came out fairly quick and tastes delicious the bbq mix can’t go wrong with along with the seafood combo was delicious

This location has improved greatly. All food is made to order now instead of sitting in large chafing dishes under hot lights for hours. The coconut shrimp was perfect and crisp and not soggy or mushy at all. I got noodles and fried rice as a side and the cabbage and onions in the noodles were fresh and crisp tasting instead of rubbery and soggy like most Chinese take out places that serve plate lunches using premade food sitting in chafing dishes. I spoke to Lady, the owner, and she was friendly and very concerned with giving customers the best food experience possible. I was really impressed with the quality of the food now. It takes a little more time to wait for a fresh cooked order, but it is definitely worth it. Prices are good for the huge portions that are given here. Plenty enough to take home and enjoy a second meal with a two choice plate with 1/2 fried rice and 1/2 noodles as a side.L&L is always a quality option, but this Waimea location is the best one I have experienced yet.Vegetarian options: Various vegetarian and healthy meal choices readily visible on the menu.
