Mandatory stop every time I visit Hawaii. The fresh poke is so good and the price is unbeatable. I always get an assortment and make a picnic out of it.Overall reliable supermarket chain with fresh and wide assortment of products, including lots of brands and products local to Hawaii.

The staff is friendly and this grocery store has a little bit of everything. I always get my meat and produce here. I asked the meat counter if they could cut my beef ribs into smaller pieces and they were happy to help! My only recommendation is to get a bigger area for cake and pie slices just like Mauna Lani's Foodland.

Great supermarket. Very convenient place for fruits, vegetables, poke, meats. Seafood, prepared foods, groceries, wine, souvenirs and greetings cards, etc. shopping. Good discounted prices for Maikai member. Occasionally have very good WOW discount on selected products.Highly recommended!!

I was shocked to see prices at this location in Waimea. Examples: bread, milk, and avocado, way more expensive than Kona or other bigger towns, including Hilo, where I am now. I hope Foodland pays its employees fairly. Absolute price gouging!

They have a lot of nice options. Wish they had a little more healthier, natural selection for snacks and things. I usually go to KTA for those things but do my principal shopping here. I do like their selection of prepared hot food for a super quick dinner option for my son.

I shop here almost weekly to get my groceries, and prescriptions if needed. Has western union, coin changer, movie rental machine inside. Also the store offers fresh cooked folded and awesome poke various types. The store does sell alcohol. Large store and always well stocked and cleaned. Restrooms are inside if needed. Nice produce section as well as protein section. Staff is very nice and check out is fast. Use your card for store discounts when available.

They have a poke section just for poke. I ordered spicy ahi poke. I felt the price of poke at foodland was reasonably priced. Customer service was great and there was a sweet customer that helped me with easy check out.

The score starts with the service, everyone was nice and attentive. The cashier asked me for my phone number. Not being local and usually turning this down, I said no thank you. She said are you sure, you may get some discount. So in fun I said sure, entered it and saved $9.00! The cashier and I had a great belly laugh and shared a smile. I have to do better with taking pictures of even the most common places I visit. But I assure you, Foodland was clean, well stocked and well serviced.

It's busy in the afternoon usually wait in line at leaste 5 mins to check out. The produce is usually pretty good.The hot food has been good 80% of the time. And if you go there after work and your dirty the security guy follows you around. I wouldn't ever stop there just because of that, but my wife likes stopping and getting grapes on the way home .

Amazing staff and a clean store! They had many things in their bakery and in their fish area. The store has a variety of things. This is the store to stop by if you forgot something😊. The cashier was kind and quick! Definitely recommend this place for groceries and party snacks!

Poke is the best in the area…fresh, seasoned well, and lots of variety. Hot food is good if it is fresh, but it usually isn’t and it just sits under heat lamps for days. The bakery is the same…if it’s fresh, it is good but they have a tendency to let things sit until some sap buys it. Employees are friendly but there is never more than one or two checkouts open and they will close the checkout lane envelope if there are like 10 people in line.

The folks that work at this Foodland make the Foodland great. It's hard to find certain items sometimes and they're always so helpful. This Foodland is really well stocked and prices are more reasonable than a lot of other stores nearby.

Great store with amazing employees. Second time in the cashier already had our names figured out!!!The point system is very satisfactory, and we can even get airfare Miles by shopping in there. The prices are fair, but it’s understandable once we are remotely so to speak, all the way in Kamuela.Great experience and I recommend!

Friendly and kind employees and quality products. The store has one of the largest selection of locally sourced produce/products that are clearly marked so. The manager offered us samples as we were trying to decide between the Caracara and the locally sourced oranges. Great experience!
