We drove from one end of Kona to the other for this. This Foodland was located inside of a resort town. (Mauna Lani) Very nice and clean. We really went in for the fresh poke… which did not disappoint. We were able to taste all of the food items we bought.

Poke hotspot!! While KTA and Sank N Save closed early for peke shopping, this place was open late and even had a closing sale. I visited at 6:30 PM, and the Poke staff were incredibly friendly!As a traveler, thanks to you, I have added wonderful memories to Hawaii.💙

Honestly the best grocery store in Kona. Just clean and decent. Prepared food is great and the poke too. Went back twice because it was so good.

These 5 stars are specifically for your Poke Chef's. They are top notch amazing! The poke selection is so ono and addicting. The pounded oio is hands down the best treat! But Ginger ahi tataki, aunties special, ahi crunch, spicy salmon. And my favorite sea asparagus salad...everything..TRY THEM ALL! My bank account hates you but me & my opu mahalo nui you all! You get aktion!

They always have prepared sandwiches, lunch plates, soup, California rolls, Poke, Hulihuli rotisserie chicken for quick meals to bring home along with typical grocery store items and a large liquor/wine department. Also an excellent bakery! Additional value can be had with their Makai card which earns points with every purchase. Even allows you to spend your Hawaiian Airlines Miles at this store.

Decent grocery store, services resort guests in the area. Prices aren't the best but one of the few available options around. Lots of parking. Got a quick bite for kids, Chicken Tenders and Corn Dogs (actually...Pizza sticks in a corn dog bag, didn't notice until we checked out...oh well)

Friendly cashier! We got in late on a Wednesday and were able to manage some sandwich fixings for a vacation outing and we grabbed the orange chicken to help us get to the hotel, it was pretty good!

The Foodland is the only true grocery store in the area. We often partake when working on the island. Breakfast by the pound not a bad deal for big eaters, poke bar, and good ancillary items. They close at 9pm so plan ahead. Even got Hanalei Poi, which is always hard to get. You pay for it, but hard to find. Staff, and management always friendly and helpful. Mahalo plenty guys! 🤙✌2/12/22Wish this store closed later. It's the only full service grocery store conveniently located in the area other than KTA and Island Gourmet. Not sure what the company is thinking closing at 7pm. Nice, friendly workers. Management needs to do a common sense check. Gave it a 3 hoping they would've extended hours. Guess not. 😐3/20/22They actually reduced their hours. I dunno. Bentos and the seafood department are the go-to's. 8a - 8p would be good but I'm guessing they don't trad reviews. Island Gourmet is a great alternative down the road and open longer. Still pulling fir thus store as employees are always helpful and courteous. Put them back to a 4, just hoping for the linger hours for us early birds and night owls.5/10/22New hours: 9am - 7pm daily. Still closes kind of early but the only deal in the area other than Island Gourmet, down the road.

Convenient store with a fairly good selection. Only go if you are staying at Mauna Lani, but over priced so I wouldn’t come here unless you need something quick. Closing hours are fairly strict. The poke is great, 1/3 of the store is a new liquor area, and there is fresh produce as well.

We shop here for lunch and drinks on work days. It's a smaller Foodland but it has a large produce, bakery, sushi, fresh prepared fish (poke) and liquor area. There's usually long lines to checkout as it's in a resort area and visitors shop there on their stay at the surrounding condos and hotels. The employees are very friendly and helpful.

Crowded, overpriced, poor selection, and none of the deli food is made there. Absolutely none of it.Go down the street to the other grocery to the Queens marketplace. I’m not sure why that one is ranked lower. It has a better selection, everything in the deli is made fresh there.

The poke is to die for! Spent almost everyday of my trip here either grabbing breakfast before the beach or grabbing ingredients to make at the condo! Love love love this place and also staff was very friendly!

Fantastic selection of grab and go bowls, sandwiches, salads, sushi, bakery. Also hot foods like breakfast burritos, loco Moco, spam musubi. The wine and liquor section is extensive although I wish they carried splits. Lots of gourmet food items if you like that stuff. Went here almost daily while staying at the local resort and didn't want to pay resort prices for casual food. They have poke by the pound too!

This store was the best!! They had everything you could need in a grocery store and a fabulous deli. We bought short ribs to bbq at our resort. They were fantastic! Everything was fresh and really good for a quick easy to make dinner. There was also a fabulous mall with great shopping out the back door. Had a nice cold mocha drink and sat at the fountain. Highly recommend.

Great market nearby to several large resorts. Staff are noce & helpful, and the store has an impressive variety of items, with a nice focus on specialty and gourmet products, and lots of great stuff. Prices can be a bit high, but that’s Hawaii’s thing… we bought food for a weeks ‘s stay here and it’s all been delicious!

You can find everything you need; the price isn't too bad, it is higher than other groceries, but it's the only one within a 20minute drive.Staff is very helpful and the coffee isn't half bad!Organic options are minimal but the fresh deli and poke is great!Sign up for the reward card, it can be a huge help.

Beautiful beach in a bay protected by rocks on each extreme. White sand and gradually sloped. Hotel beach guards are always in the lookout with binoculars.Safe for children . When we swam , could not feel any currents.

Over Charged for the eggs. I’m glad I kept the receipt and looked at it before walking out of the store. They did refunded me the difference. The employees are really amazing and good.It’s a convenient location as long as you’re okay paying $10 - $12 dollars for bread and $10 to $12 dollars for milk.

Seriously, the people who work here are the BEST! They are helpful, kind, professional, and have a sense of humor.We love the sushi we get here, as well as salads. It's not only a simply convenient store to have right nearby, but dang, the people make it nice to frequent. They have all the aloha spirit needed to brighten my days.Mahalo nui to the whole place and their staff!
