We had such a great time here for dinner! The vibe was on point and service was friendly and quick. We got a flight sampler and some food. Food tasted great and priced reasonably especially compared to a lot of places on the Big Island. Parking was limited so we parked by the soccer field and walked over.

Service was great, as waitress was prompt.While my Rueben sandwich was good, it was a bit expensive at over $24 - with no French fries, sandwich only. I got Overboard IPA, which was good. This was recommended to me, but I'd call this more of a miss, as other places are more worth what one pays.

I busted my daughter out of school and we ended up at this fantastic restaurant. We sat outside at a high table and the atmosphere was just perfect! The staff were so friendly and attentive. They kept apologizing for being understaffed but we got our food and everything super fast, without much wait at all. The waitress was so friendly and personable.We weren’t very hungry so we just got a few appetizers. The astro nachos were amazing. We ordered it with the guacamole and glad that we did! We also ordered the quesadilla, garlic fries and caprese salad. Then, of course, the brownie and ice cream for dessert. Fantastic food! Great service! Thank you!

Parking is difficult during Saturday lunch. Excellent beer. Good food, but at a premium price. However, beer size prices are very reasonable. The servers were super busy causing service to be a little slow.

Nice beer selection. My wife and I both had a taster tray and enjoyed them all. My wife enjoyed the Rueben, which had a nice smokey flavor and I enjoyed the beef borito.

Friendly staff, fun atmosphere, good beer and AMAZING food. I got the fish taco and the roasted squash appetizer and both were fantastic. I was blown away by the squash. After eating, I almost ordered different things to go to try later because the food I’d had was so impressive.

Quaint little restaurant. Indoor and outdoor seating. Waitress was great. Food ono. And beers on tap. I recommend the fish bites, green chile stew, burritos, and chimichanga. For dessert, get a White Mountain Porter Beer Float. Yes, beer with ice cream! This flavor combo is the perfect match. The only bad thing is the butter knife couldnt make it through tortilla... the silverware set is cheap thin light and doesn't match the ambiance or prices, they are like utensils for school kids. Please upgrade. Otherwise, enjoy!

This was a wonderful find for the family, on our way back to Waikoloa from the Hawai’i Tropical Botanical Gardens, we stopped here for refreshment and a bite. The beer list was excellent and all six of us enjoyed our drinks. The food was flavorful, diverse and had an impressive selection of vegetarian options. Service was solid as well. We will be back!

Never disappointed. The brewhaus is open for lunch and dinner, don't forget to ask what the soup of the day is and what the fish bites are. The soup of the day is onolicious. Small kine wait on the weekends. Live music on certain nights. Beer changes with the season but is updated regularly on the menu to reflect availability. Take a blanket if can, can get cold upcountry.Broke da mouf tacos, fish bites, green chili burger, falafel sandwich and BLT.Update: it's February 2024 and the menu has changed. The chimichanga and roasted kobocha squash are back. Veggie sandwich on rye is great for any vegan patrons. The pickle chips are plenty filling. Most beer is now available to go in cans.

This is a micro Brewery that makes great beers. I tried 2 porters and they were both very good. The Food was all very good. There is inside seating and covered outside seating. They have displayed their awards and there are many of them. They have t-shirts and hats with their brand on them. The wait staff was very attentive even though they were short staffed. Normal prices for the area, I actually did not feel robbed at all! The nachos were great! The guacamole is homemade and very good! The garlic fries had garlic butter drizzled on top of the fries. The Brewery is actually in the building behind the bar!Parking: There is parking on property. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp leading to the front door.

My family and I drove up to Waimea to eat and the place we were planning to eat at was closed because of kitchen problems. We found ourselves here instead.My husband and I shared:- Ahi Katsu Sandwich (special)- Bacon & Bleu QuesadillaI enjoyed the quesadilla, but the Ahi Katsu wasn't my favorite. The prices were a bit higher than I wanted to pay considering nothing came with a side. The service was pretty slow too.

Absolutely amazing. This certainly is one of the best places I have ever eaten at. The staff were very kind. The food tasted so very fresh. I had the fish bites and they were absolutely delicious. The garlic fries were cooked to perfection and had love put into them. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough to anyone who comes by.

IMHO the best brewery on the island! Great selection of beer and mixed drinks as well. Plus, they have really good burgers, salads, and tacos. Often times I think, why bother asking me how I want a burger cooked when it inevitably comes out well done? Not here. Perfectly executed medium.

Very Good! Made a pit stop while travel through town on vacation. It’s hard to eat out and justify the cost I’m finding but at this place I felt ok. The only side thought I had is the fries coming additionally. My party order the Green chili burger, Classic burger, Black n Blue and sampled a few beers of their craft beers. I have zero complaints on anything I consumed and the burgers were cooked to our likings. The service was wonderful as an array of friendly women played their part in hosting us and they ALL deserve kudos and my appreciation is giving.If your service n town try Big Island Brewhaus out.

Great food! Family of 6, 3 of us had the Black n Blue Burger .Highly recommend the burger! Awesome service from James L..6 pack for the road!Locals were friendly and welcoming. $240 out the door including tip and we'd go back.

After nearly 24 hours of travel to get to the Hawaii, this was the first place we tried, and it provided exactly what we needed. The food was satisfying, comforting, and hit the spot just right. A great start to our Hawaiian adventure. Highly recommend for travelers looking for a reliable and hearty meal with a good beer!

Located right in the heart of waimea, this cool little brewery has a lot going for it. First off, huge and varied beer selection which was great to see. Next, we had friendly and prompt service. Food was also good. We had a couple burgers and both were excellent. The garlic fries are worth the extra. There's an outdoor patio, small bar or inside seating

Came here for a quick bite while we toured this side of the island. We arrived before noon and beat the rush. It got really busy by 12:30.Food was pretty good. None of us thought it was anything super special, but it was good.Beer flight had a good variety. White mountain was a favorite.Staff was friendly and everything came out pretty quick from the kitchen.

Our server was very knowledgeable and patient with us, even when we lost track of what was not available. We had beer flights, nachos and roasted kabocha. The kabocha dish was sourced entirely from local farms and was also delicious! Nachos were very tasty but less than what we expected. Good place to relax and enjoy some munchies while sipping on some great beer.

I must have got an Off Day based upon the other reviews. Mind you, the beers I had were pretty good. The Baltic Porter was completely on target a good 45/50 points. I ordered the Imperial Red, and it was tastey - whatever it actually was. Maybe a very hoppy amber? Ceryainly NOT a 26 IBU Red ale. Maybe the bartender or server made an error in the order. Hard to ask. Service was S-L-O-W...... It took an Hour for our food to arrive and a good 20-30 minutes waiting with an empty glass to order a 2nd beer. The deep fried pickles were very good. Recommend. The garlic fries came in a cold greasy puddle. The coleslaw similarly was dripping with so much dressing it was more of a cold sweet & sour cabbage soup. The green chili burger was cold, bland, and soggy. My advice, go for beers only and maybe sit at the bar.

We love stopping here for lunch. Their menu is great for both vegetarian and those who aren’t. Lots of local ingredients used. My favourites are their fish bites as well as their falafels. He loves the burrito and the cheese burger! Their award winning beers complete the meal.

The reviews here were very helpful and mostly accurate. It was pretty hopping at 1pm on a Saturday, no shock there. We easily found a spot in overflow parking at the cherry trees and walked over. There was only one group to be seated in front of us, so we were able to get either a table outside or seats for two at the bar. We chose the latter and had a very nice time joking a bit with the bartender in moments between his quite busy load (which he handled very well... nice to watch a pro at work). The place was steadily full and I wouldn't say it was incredibly fast but it wasn't slow service or kitchen speed either. Perfectly reasonable considering everything, so as long as you go with the right expectations, you should be quite happy.So, all that said, the food is phenomenal. We had burgers with garlic fries and they were delicious. Best burger I can remember in a good while and the aioli for the fries was great. The beers are all quite good. Even the ones that aren't my preferred style are obviously very well made. The sampler platters (customize with 5 choices) are an excellent way to take a tour of the dozen or so choices on tap. I would personally recommend the Belgians. If you drove, be mindful of the relatively high ABV on a number of the selections.

Cool little spot with very good craft beers. We also got some appetizers when we stopped in, the garlic fries were especially tasty, although I think the nachos portion was a bit small. The bartender was attentive and friendly, and the rest of the staff were friendly as well. I certainly recommend stopping in if you like craft beers and you're in the area.--I went back on my recent trip to Big Island over 3 years after my first visit, and although some things have changed (outdoor seating only, digital menus), it's still a great spot for excellent craft beers and food. Everything we got was tasty, and everyone who worked there was friendly and attentive.

Really awesome place to stop and check out. Great food! We had the fish bites and the bacon & blue quesadilla. And the beer, well let's just say it's probably the best on the island! So many choices. Prices very reasonable. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and on top of it! If you get to Waimea you need to make a stop here!! Don't drink beer? No worries they have a full bar and the best soda fountain drinks made with real cane sugar!!
