Awesome place to visit! They've been in business since the 1800's! Wow! That's super impressive. Customer service was great! The roasted Chicken was delicious and totally lived up the review I had seen that made me want to bring our friends there. They were visiting from Mexico & Canada so we enjoyed a tour at Koolau Ranch & then had enough for dinner on the way home back to the West Side (:

This store is absolutely fantastic. If you are anywhere near the area, you have to stop in. I can honestly say that this is my #1 favorite supermarket on the entire island for dozens of reasons, but two big standout reasons. 1 >>> You really can find everything you could possibly need or want here and at fantastic prices. 2 >>> My kids and I had a blast hanging out here. I usually loathe shopping trips (same stuff, same place, chore, chore chore). Not this place! It reminded me of grocery stores when I was younger that had arcade games, claw machines and all kinds of crazy stuff to keep kids entertained. Not only do they have all of those things, they also have a HUGE full wall of vending machine-dispensed capsule toys. I didn’t even realize how much I miss that!The staff is cool as can be, super nice, super helpful. I couldn’t believe they had so many self-checkout registers. It’s not something you ever expect to see at a locally owned place in general, then to also have several of them – that is beyond awesome. This place is the perfect combination of everything you could possibly hope for with price, variety, modern technology and convenience; with the added plus of being locally owned and operated.The Departments: They were endless! I could have seriously stayed in there all day looking up and down every isle. They had live plants, awesome toys, pool gear, school and office supplies, art supplies, high quality craft sets (like wood burning kits). They had every type of pet food, bedding, treats, toys, baby animal care, litter - and even more than you can imagine, available in small or bulk quantities for regular house pets, farm animals and exotic pets. They have all kinds of outdoor gardening and lawn care items, house tools, magic kits, phenomenal gifting items (like sets of aromatherapy bath salts), camping and fishing gear, a fantastic meat and seafood department. The fruit and veg area was spectacular.Even though the parking lot was full and I was there during a popular time, it didn't feel crammed at all in the store. They have there own lot with plenty of overflow parking and all the parking was free. It was quick and easy to get in and out of the store and parking lot. It was an A+++ experience all the way around.

This store, namely its owners, epitomizes true ALOHA spirit!!!Families in Waianae treasure OHANA, and it is evident that this family-run supermarket embraces and fosters the community bonds held so dear!My recent experience—involving a situation in which the manager/owner personally carried out a delivery request that was made long-distance—overwhelmed mewith the kindness extended to me, a stranger, calling in from very far away.The graciousness of this store owner exceeded all expectations, and, honestly, rose to a level of customer service I have NEVER experienced at any other grocery store!I insist that anyone living in or visiting the area shop at this special store, where the customers are not only valued, but truly treated as family!!!!!

This is our "go to" store on the Westside. I am in this store at least 3 times each week. The prices are always good, and the staff is more than friendly. Their "self check out lanes" are the best on this island...and Safeway etc. cannot compare. *This is the only store on the Westside to offer self check out.......... Parking is always abundant, and even when the store is very busy it never feels crowded. The wide aisles are usually clear of items so two carts can easily pass (as is not the case in all stores).

I love their poke station. Clerks there are helpful, I've notice when their busy, some customer's get a little rude. These customer's have to remember, they have new people in this department and still learning. But all around their great. Keep it up!

My second favorite neighborhood store. The sales items are unbeatable, especially if they match the items on your shopping list. I have often given in to the temptation to buy items not on my list. 😁 Very friendly employees and given the high volume of store traffic and the diverse populations that shop at the store, it is well stocked and clean.

Check out their fresh poke and custom made to order Hawaiian style fresh poke. Always have dried Aku too.Enjoy yourselves out there! I love all the employees have a real Aloha customer service, I easily get help for what I'm looking for or a employees always go above and beyond to always help and they take into consideration my suggestions for products specially because I'm from Mexican descent from California so its hard to find items for me here. This is a real life general store in 2020. For those of you who don't know, general stores used to be the only store in towns in rural places before Amazon existed. They carry a little bit of everything and can usually order anything for the right price. Staff was friendly check out was the style where you give them your whole cart, which is awesome, and prices are low! Store has a old timey general store feel with checker tiles and all.

It's a grocery store. The bake goods they sell are superb. They bring in them from bakeries in Honolulu. Very Ono. Their produce does not impress me. Their prices are competitive with the other 3 grocery stores on the Waianae Coast. The staff working there are always helpful smile & are pleasant which makes the shopping experience great. The parking lot while large and uses the space well it's not a great experience due to the way the cars are parked.

Store carries about anything you could want. Plenty of parking. Friendly helpful staff. My favorite section is the fishing section where I bought a rod and reel today along with replenishing my supply of hooks. This store is a true asset for the Waianae community. Every visit has been an enjoyable experience.
