No need to drive back into the main town to get a mainstream grocery store, this hometown grocery has you covered! We were staying in a house nearby for a week, and thought we were going to have to trek back to the Safeway down the highway - nope! Passed this as we were settling into the house, and decided to give it a shot. They had everything we needed, from meats to produce to boxed foods and lunches. It's great to be able to run back somewhere local to grab more milk, or to realize you forgot something and only have to go 5 minutes to get it. Lines were quick, store was neat and organized, and the checkers were friendly!

I'm so disappointed with the breakfast i got. I ordered french toast. The french toast was bread and egg. Thats it. No cinnamon or vanilla flavoring at all. Plus i waited so long for my food. I understand it was kind of busy but to me the cook in the back kept messing up. If your cook don't know how to cook. I think you should get another cook.

Managers are great cashiers are all great but the deli people and the security guards are not the deli people most of them are older and Moody they treat One customer different from another 1 security guard is so fat yet his pants are hanging way down he has a belt but he's not using it properly

yesterday I was making shopping in Tamara supermarket 14:27 p.m.(can check camera records) and dude Samson working on cash desk count some our thinks twice,and on my bill found the thinks I didn't buy at all!Typical catch of tourist witch making big shopping.My fault to not check receipt immediately.Be aware :-/ .....my first and last shopping there...

I miss all of the variety of poke sooooo bad! Nowhere on the mainland can you find this kind of seafood and poke! I love getting guava bread and making French toast with it. So many amazing foods, feel blessed to have a market like this. Unique and delicious food. Delicious seafood. Awesome bentos and plates and tempura! So dank!

Good selection for the size of the building. Everyone is always helpful. They did an excellent job when everyone was preparing for Hurricane Lane. One of the last spots to have water on this side of island. So glad we have this store. Would also suggest going in the morning. Something smells amazing! I will find it and eat it soon.

Only downside is grass is brown on facilities grounds taking away from overall looks of the facility.I’ve used this post office almost 20 years. Parking has always been ample no mater what time of day I make my visits.Staff has always been cheerful and helpful and usually I am treated as a neighbor not a customer.No matter what the size of the line, the line moves fast and all of my business is usually taken care of in minutes.Visits are normally much better than any other post offices I visit.

I grew up eating and shopping here! I swear they have the best poke and tako on the island. Sells so fast, that’s why its soooo fresh. They are probably making it hourly. Got the; Island limu, island seasoned poke, tako and seasoned Island salmon. My uncle mentioned – back in the day it was only poke, where did the salmon come from. Haha clearly it was the tourist that probably requested it. I ain’t mad at the game; shoot I loooove salmon, it’s so fatty so having it poke style was good but if I’m going to be honest everyone knows poke on the islands just tastes sooo much better.I always stick to the classic, my favorite, the one who will always have my heart; POKE ISLAND STYLE WITH LIMU!

A one-stop shop! Picturesque, relaxed & friendly. Good prices without rewards card. They always have whatever you're after -- unlike the other local markets. Inside the aisles are a bit narrow so be careful with your cart.

Fantastic family owned supermarket. Great deli items. The many food items are awesome deli section. And killer process. Pharmacy is available. Fruit selection is to notch. Practically anything you need is here. I love that they put coupons on products when they have them. Also, two thumbs up on the music selection.

Has almost anything u want. Cashiers r at times unpleasant. Always had carts. Parking is a nightmare the 1st week of each month. Otherwise ample parking. Deli had great plate lunch's different selection each dayBreakfast played plentiful good & not expensive. Deli & Poki counter staff r always helpful & pleasant. Meat Dept staff helpful if they r out of something they will go in the back & get it. Produce is iffy sometimes.

I like the store but new customer maybe confuse on how they operate. Example: if you buy poke and wanted to enter the main store to get groceries they will stop you because you have a bag entering the store. They will keep it for you and gave you a number to get it back. Not sure if they put it in the fridge for you?!!!! But if you forget and went home and the store is closed you'll be out if luck!Store is clean it use to smells like piss in the Isles I guess they clean it better now. Bake goods are cheap but meats are expensive. They have hand wipe which is super great when touching meat and the areas that it come in contact with. Continue on shopping without fear of germs. Super great idea. 3 stars is the customer service experience no smiles no greetings. security is watching you not even smile just watching you is a little uncomfortable.I had a bag bust and my plate lunch was smash the bag was not at all good. I complain but the counter lady had a angry face like I was trying to steal something. Wow! She didn't replace my meal instead made me bought another one and sent me in my way. And I could here a little gossiping about me complaining. I was very disappointedWhat that store needs is a little aloha. Not every customer who complains are annoying they should be treated better then what I had.I still go often for the Poke it's always looking goodNew people: try the poke they give sample just ask.They have too many department it's frustrating. They need to reconstruct it better. How can I buy beer and can't enter the main store or buy poke and can't carry it. Should be a sign saying that or the employee tells you or something.There are more but I think you get the idea

Tamura supermarket has good prices. The deli is great and they have good food but with good food comes long lines. They also have a seafood department which is never empty as well. Parking is okay considering the size of the store but they also have a parking lot structure across the street and it isn't hard to get across. The only issues that I constantly find myself experiencing a lot when I shop here is expired products. Tamuras has a shelf designated for products that are about to expire but most of the time the products on this shelf are way past the expiration dates and that's just gross.

They sold shaving cream but no razors. Liquor store inside has separate cash register. Decent selection. This is a locals store so if you are white don't be surprised if you are treated poorly. Attendant in store was super rude however, the liquor store attendant was very nice and pleasant.

I had a gift card for this place and was looking forward to using it to support a local store. The store itself is not bad but the staff were very unfriendly and unapproachable. It was my first time at the store so had a question about the gift card and the woman who helped me seemed irritated that I asked her a question. Then when I got to the register the cashier gave me a dirty look. It was strange...these people didn't even know me but were rude. Maybe because I hadn't been there before. Disappointed won't be going back.

One of the best places to buy groceries at a lower price. It can get crowded inside and outside so consider the parking location by the bank or side lot. Walking around the store is cramped so be polite and aware of others. They also have a place to buy fresh poki, muscle, crab, seafood, etc.

Their Poke station is the bomb! Their meat department does a great job on restocking. All fresh meats. Prices are affordable.I will give 2 🌟 stars for their enployees. They need to smile and be kind to customers. Their cashier workers are almost always uptight and grumpy, young or old.

This place is kind of awesome! They are not a big store like Safeway and not a small little store like 7-11. They have multiple gluten free items they sell as well as vegan items. Even vegan items that are otherwise hard to find!

Great local shopping. You never know what you'll find there. All sorts of natural and/or organic products. Only issue is that too often the sale price reflected on the shelf doesn't show up once the item is scanned at the register (regular price does). Great overall, though. It's always fun at Tamura.
