Went in to do my car inspection, not realizing that the registration I have was from the Kiosk that didn't print out well. The Dansen's women there are very courteous. They did have my car go into inspection, I just had to go to the DMV to get a duplicate registration before they could put on my sticker. Very professional!

Friendly personnel, fast and efficient service!!We always go there for our yearly safety check on both of our vehicles. I know if at anytime we would need repairs to the vehicles, we would receive a fair and honest quote!

Terrible service, high diagnostic fee $180.00 where as a reliable shop in Honolulu is $75.00, Inaccurate diagnostic. Got my car fixed at a commercial retailer mechanic for 1/3rd of the price they quoted me. Only took my car into this shop because it broke down around the corner. It would be significantly cheaper and a better experience to tow it to another auto shop to have it diagnosed and serviced. They quoted me a little over $3400 and 4 days to fix a transmission flush, engine filter, spark plug and coil replacement for a 2012 Toyota Corolla. Additionally, I had an oil change 1 week prior, and they told me that I have not received an oil change in a while and quoted me $96.00 plus labor for an oil change.I ended up pulling my car out of Dansens after receiving that ridiculous quote and got EVERYTHING that needed to be fixed on my car in 1 day in 4 hours for $1,010 at a commercial auto shop in Honolulu that they additionally have on mainland.

I took my car in for its annual safety sticker. Past experiences at other repair shops have included long wait times of over two hours in some cases. Although other customers were ahead of me, my car was finished in under 15 minutes. The cashier was very friendly and efficient. Mahalo!

My most recent reason for going to Dansenʻs was to have our “Safety Check” done. We have gone to other places to get our “Safety Check” but compared to Dansen’s set up works best for us.1. Counter Service: You come in and you are greeted and are asked “How can we help you?”2. You can seat inside where they have AC or outside where there are 2 benches in the shade.3. They call you when the job is done but this time I was talking story and didn’t have my ringer on so I didn’t know they completed the job. The Aunty came out and asked for my name and I told her she said, I was trying to call you your car s ready. 👍🏾 I was talking to a friend I hadn’t seen for awhile.4. It is alway’s pleasant and they have awesome service. We will always go there for mechanical issues.😃

As an outsider - someone who does not live here and is just visiting for the holidays - I was absolutely blown away by the kindness and level of service provided to my dear friend. We - literally - limped into Dansons late one afternoon after our brakes started making horrific sounds. This was close to closing and during the holidays - we feared the worst and hoped for the best. Little did we know that Danson's best would far exceed any expectations we had. Everyone was friendly, helpful and understanding. The thing that totally shocked me was they didn't tell us to come back next Tuesday at 2:00. They pulled the car in and identified the problem and promised to have it done by...wait for it...THE NEXT DAY!!!!! AND, AND! It WAS done the next day and it was PERFECT!!! I am now trying to figure out how much it would cost to ship MY CAR to Hawaii from Nebraska to get its repairs done....

Their customer service was excellent! My five star review only applies if you wish to pay double for servicing your vehicle.Today I brought in two tires which I purchased online to be mounted and balanced. Their price $220. Less than a half mile down the road at a locally owned, nationally recognized auto repair chain I paid $108 for the same two tires to be mounted and balanced. Thankfully, we have more than one option in Waianae.

I scheduled an appointment via their online scheduling system, then received an email confirmation that my appointment was scheduled. I then proceeded to spend the next 40 minutes scheduling and paying for a tow truck to transport my vehicle to my scheduled appointment. An hour later I receive an email saying that they wouldn't be able to see me until 8 days later and they recommend schedulingduring the week as Saturdays are half days. If this is the case, Saturday appointment availability should not be listed on their calendar.I called, because of course this is a major inconvenience both logistically and financially, and was told that they have no control over their system, there is no room in the bay area, they are only open 3 days next week, and there was nothing they were willing to do to help me. I will never attempt to utilize nor refer anyone to their services in the future. They were very unwilling to assist a potential customer with correcting a problem they themselves created. So frustrating.
