Fabulous small village food!We knew staying in Volcano came with limitations on our visit - food options being top among them. But fortunately, we got a rec to come to Thai Thai and we are so glad we experienced it.There was plenty of room and tables, we were seated quickly. Staff was so prompt and very kind. We ordered a cocktail and hot tea - both were very pleasant after a long day. The curries seemed to call to us quickly. We got a green curry with beef and a yellow curry with chicken - YUM. I could eat another yellow curry right now. And again tomorrow. So good. And filling in the best way.It was a tiny bit pricier than we anticipated but chalk that up to its remote location and the supply transport. $25/meal should be anticipated.Overall, very good!

Thai Thai Bistro and Bar is a solid spot for tasty Thai cuisine. Their pad thai is an absolute standout - perfectly cooked noodles with a sweet-savory sauce that hits all the right notes. But it's not just the pad thai that impresses. From the flavorful curries loaded with fresh veggies and tender proteins to the zingy larb salads, the dishes really deliver on authentic Thai flavors. The bistro has a lively, modern vibe too. My only minor gripe is that a couple of the appetizers seemed a tad lackluster in comparison to the excellent entrees. Overall though, Thai Thai is delicious and well worth a visit for Thai food lovers.

Delicious!!!! I had the beef pad Thai (spicy-6), best pad Thai I have ever tasted. I had the passion fruit margarita- I give it a 5 out of 10, not a lot of alcohol. Overall this is a place I will visit when I come back to this part of the island.-Ashley from Gilbert, Arizona.

Didn’t expect to have the best Thai food I have ever had while visiting Hawaii. Great place to stop after visiting Volcano National Park. We tried everything from their spring/summer rolls, sweat and sour chicken, pad sea eaw noodles, pad Thai noodles, and my absolute favorite was the green curry dish made from green Thai chiles. Just a little bit of kick from the heat, but the flavors were amazing.

I got Thai Thai Red Curry, which is closest to Panang. I ordered it Thai hot, which meant getting chopped fresh Thai chilis to put in Curry, and it was perfect. Nothing is better than fresh chilis. I got a "Hawaiian" beer brewed in Bend, Oregon. No brown rice available, darn. 😒Service was good. Place is nice and huge. Cost me $44 for Curry, beer, tax and tip. I would return.

Highlights: One of three restaurants in Volcano, and it's PHENOMENAL. Get the MANGO STICKY RICE.Food: Easily some of the best Thai food I've ever had. The curry was especially good.Ambiance: Large dining space with big windows, lots of Thai decor, with a...lodge ski cabin vibe.Experience: Our waiter was the nicest guys. Very friendly to a bunch of tourists, and gave great recommendations (mango margarita).

Good, yummy Thai - especially when you consider the location, half way up a mountain in a little village - but waaaay overpriced, even with the good service we got.Remember to ask for actual spiciness if you like your Thai authentic.Watch out for the nights they are closed; it appears the limited number of places to eat in Volcano take turns to be open at times! 😆

Unique takes on Thai curry - I've never had cooked pumpkin in green curry and it was phenomenal. My daughter raved about her sweet and sour plate. Portions are enormous - we had a great lunch the following day. Service is fast, friendly, and efficient. The décor is nothing fancy but oh, dear lord, the food more than makes up for it. So yummy,

A vegetarian friendly experience that was perfect from start to finish. The avocado fries--avocado in tempura and deep fried--were both an interesting and delicious appetizer. I had the pineapple stir fry with tofu in a house-made sweet and sour sauce and definitely recommend it--made with local pineapples. Yum. The service was impeccable--I take enjoyed our server--and the drinks were awesome, too. We had Hawaiian Sunrises and Hawaiian Sunsets.

Prices were about average for a dine in a restaurant in Volcano Village. Server was attentive and friendly and there was no wait. I thought the food was good, but not outstanding. The Thai Thai special curry was pretty good. It was a cold rainy night so I also got the beef noodle soup to warm up and was told it was similar to Pho. I was disappointed in this because the broth seemed very bland, almost like it was plain chicken stock. Maybe because this isn’t a typical Thai dish.

One of the better Thai foods I've ever had and by far the best food I've had since coming to the Big Island. We tried spring rolls for appetizer (not pictured), noodle soup with chicken, mixed vegetable stir fry with beef, green curry with beef and Thai thai special curry with chicken (all pictured) and all were flavorful and delicious. I recommend a 5/10 on the Thai scale if you're okay with a bit of spice. Service was also exceptional and speedy.

Amazing!! This place is a treasure up on the volcano. The Tom Ka is the best I’ve ever had. I have been coming her since I was a kid and they have stayed true using only the freshest best locally grown ingredients. I let all my friends know this is a must eat restaurant, and now it’s time to let the secret out. Thai Thai is the Best Best mmmm I want to go back already <3 and if you like Thai Iced Tea check out the Cocomo cocktail.

Get the summer rolls, trust me they are well rolled the ingredients are fresh, crispy in the middle and the peanut sauce is great. This is a win if you're coming from volcano park later in the evening and are hungry. The service was great and our food came out very quickly. The Thai tea is also a good choice.

We stopped here again when visiting the Hawai’i Volcanoes Park. The food was just as good as when we came in 2019! As close to authentic Thai as you can get outside of Thailand. We were all dreaming of this place for months before arriving to the Big Island. I always get the SomTum (papaya salad) with grilled chicken and sticky rice. Everything was perfect! Will def come here again when visiting the big island!

Very delicious Thai! We got shrimp pad Thai and chicken special curry, both super yummy 😋 the service we received here was the best we've ever had. Lovely decorations around the place. Just a little chilly up there but they do open the windows for ventilation so wear your jackets!
