I only discovered this studio by accident, as I was using Google Maps to virtually roam the island in advance of our 20th anniversary trip and map out our activities. I saw the tag and clicked on it to see what was behind the unusual name, and explored the offerings on their web site. I'm so glad I did.Once on the island, our tour into Volcanoes National Park familiarized us with the term "vog," which explained why our eyes had been burning so much since our arrival, and my wife wasn't eager to venture back to the area; however, I was determined to visit the shop, anticipating a purchase of one of the smaller, spherical paperweights, as it was similar to ones my wife has owned for years and I knew she'd like it.When we got there, she was enchanted by the art pieces and quickly decided that our purchase would be the larger Lava Crack paperweight (though I think calling it a paperweight doesn't remotely do it justice), which is now displayed prominently in our home and is the definitive memento of our visit to the Big Island.

An excellent local store to get glass, koa wood and more. A lot of interesting stuff to choose from from tables to paperweights to jewelry and more. The owner is a wonderfully nice lady who will answer all your questions. She was also nice enough to show our kids some of her equipment and pulled some liquid glass from the furnace to show our kids. Everything in the store is local made...support local artists!Added a couple photos of a piece we bought. It is too cool to not have people see. It is a jellyfish on a color changing, LED stand. We leave it on 24 hours. We also purchased a vase that lools like an erupting volcano. It looks waaaaaaaaaaay better in person and is a great representation of nearby Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park! You won't be disappointed here!

Nice place, pretty gallery, nice people. Kind of a small stop during art week, not much beyond a gallery of beautiful pieces. There was a good range of prices so that was cool for my daughter to be able to grab something she earned enough to get. Beautiful works, but more like a place to go to buy than as an event in my opinion. 🔮

This husband and wife team are studiously working on glass blown pieces any time you visit. There is NO video recording allowed, I found this out the hard way, when I was told to stop filming! However you can take pictures...

A cute little workshop tucked back at the end of Old Volcano Rd. There is a small gallery attached to the workshop with items for purchase. There were some stunning lamination pieces and other works that would be great for those looking to have some statement pieces, along with more affordable options for those wanting a keepsake. Super friendly greeter, their new puppy, and each of the owners came in from the workshop to chat with us. You can tell they love what they do and sharing their craft. Worth the side trip if you're visiting Hawaii Volcanoes Nat'l Park.

A wonderful glass shop with a variety of items for sale at different price points. Some are expensive but wonderfully crafted- after all it’s one of a kind art! Compared to Venice glass it’s much more artistic and unique.The owners are lovely and personable. I asked about their process and they took the time to explain some of their work. Definitely recommend at least stopping by!

Beautiful glass work. Small gallery. No set schedule for blowing glass, so you might only be able to look at finished places, or if you hit the right time you might see production. It's at the end of the road off of the side of the main highway, so don't trust Google Maps to get you to the right spot. Follow the signs posted on the highway.

Weird vibe from the place. The husband (owner) didn't even acknowledge our presence and seemed angry. Tension between the couple was uncomfortable. Too pricey for many items.
