The people at this Ace are outstanding. They're helpful and creative with some of my weird projects where I commonly use an item for something it was never intended for. Alex is really good at this! Mahalo bra🤙 If we can't discover something in the store to suit my needs they're very helpful with giving me good referrals so I can eventually get the project done.

This is THE worlds best Ace Hardware.They have everything you could imagine. The perfect island store.Want extruded aluminum corner stock? Got it.Looking for crank-powered radio? Got it.2.5 Gal Gas Can? Yuup, got it.Dowel, super glue, toys, paint, tools, ladder or huge canvas sheets? Yup, got em all.Everything we have ever needed was at this Ace.Plus they have a hand washing station outside the front door too.

Your prices are seriously elevated in comparison to other stores. I understand there's a price to pay for comvienance however blatantly ripping people off and using " you can go to home depot" as a response is not the way to do business. I will do my best to shop elsewhere as you have recommended. Will it stop me from going to your store no, but it won't a a positive experience.

Wow, this store is an amazing resource. They have many, many helpful things. We went here looking for a potato peeler and I was doubtful we’d find it stocked. They had TWO to choose from. They also have an awesome Kangen water machine in the back you can get water for $1/gallon from. Amazing resource! Wish more Ace’s had this. Would return.

We were looking for pocket knives for our exploring and cutting of fruits we buy at the road stands and farmer's markets. ACE had them!Gerber knives were in stock thankfully and the man behind the counter was very helpful! Great prices too! Very happy with the purchase! We poked should s little, great place!

This store has isobutane for your camping needs in stock! Butane was out at Walmart, though it was $15 I really appreciate that they had it in stock.

We had an unexpected issue and needed a specific screw to try and repair. Opell spent more than a reasonable time with us to try and find the right size and other hardware we might need for items with little cost. The store is well-stocked with whatever anyone might need.

Costs more than Home Depot but, once you figure out how much it costs to drive to home depot, it's a bargain.The new owners have really turned it around and the employees are much less dour and much more friendly.

The Ace Hardware Princeville is super handy for me. They have great long term staff that are helpful and knowledgeable and I am often amazed at their wide range of stock. Beyond being the handy man for my own home I also design and build the prototypes for mygrowbot. The small screws and electrical parts they have in stock is amazing.

Ace Hardware in Princeville is under new ownership. They have extended they're hours till later in the evenings as of 1900. Same friendly staff are there to assist you. The inventory remains the same. The prices are still high in comparison to all other Ace Hardware stores located on the island of Kauai Hawaii. I live in Princeville, so this store is convenient for me personally. For a small store its packed full of usefully merchandise. You can rent carpet cleaners for $25.00 for 24 hours and they are easy to use and work great.

The Manager in this store today listened to a women telling tales about me not signing in for water fill up. He marched over to me and started telling me what to do and micromanaging me. I explained i am a customer and know how it works here so intended to sign in on way out but he then got angry and threatened to take out the alkaline water machine for the public. I told him "Happy New Year and good luck with your being a super control freak" Hardly Good Management!!!

My experience(s) at the Princeville ace was a miserable experience. Couldn't find what I needed and heavy set cashier acted like she hated me even though I have never met her, I have lived on kauai all my life (44 yrs) and this woman is very racist and not good for your business. Will only go there again because I work on the north shore.

If you have a place in Princeville Kauai then you will at some time need to visit this place. Island Ace Hardware has been at Landmark in the Princeville Center for many many years. It has gone through many changes and recently the changes have been for the better. You can get most anything you need for your home at this location however they do not have a large Supply of lumber or other building materials as such. For those things you will probably need to go to Kilauea or Lihue if you are in the middle of a large project. But for those small fix-ups such as painting, fixing a screen, or putting in a few more nails... then this is the place.
