Just your typical petco that you find everywhere else really. The employees have all came across super friendly which is nice. Been in here all to often since we got a brand new puppy a few months ago. We buy her poop bags, treats, toys, and dog food here. Also been recently getting her groomed here as well. The groomers do a fabulous job and really take the time they need to make your dogs look and feel good. Thanks Petco!

Christina did an amazing job grooming my Bernerdoodle, Bruno. Without a doubt, this was the greatest doodle cut we have found on the island. I'm overjoyed and intend to have Bruno as her only groom.

The groomers here are so rude. The tipping culture is ridiculous, I stopped being able to tip and they began treating me like absolute garbage and they began leaving services out on my dog. They didn't do the complete service I payed for. I truly think they add notes to the owners who don't tip. Even when I tipped they were rude as heck and just know, never brining my pup to this petco again. I literally drive an hour more for better service.

They were able to accommodate my two dogs at a last-minute notice. Great job on both of them. They were very nice and understanding as well.

overall this is a good store, with friendly helpful employees and good prices. unfortunately their fish, especially freshwater leaves a good bit to be desired. the entire area was pretty messy and I saw way too many sick fish, or fish that needed to be removed because they had died. I'll continue to buy their products for my tank, and their fish employee seemed to really know what she was talking about, but I don't think I'll be buying their fish. At least until they get this cleared up.

While taking my daughter's catahoula back home I was asked to pick up doggie's food order at Petco pearl city. Not wanting to leave her dog in the car, I reluctantly brought her into the store. My hesitancy is because the dog is not friendly with strangers. Holding her close to me until reaching the pleasant cashier, that's when she calmed down. The cashier reassured me that the dog is doing fine. Perhaps my being relaxed or the cashier calm voice but she layer down while waiting to pick up the order.

Staff is extremely friendly we absolutely love our trainers at their pearl city location. Cassie, Kayla and Tehani have been wonderful with our four large dogs. We are very thankful petco price matches.

came on feb 13 2024 at 8:45pm and they were closed 15mins early. we have a crying 2 week old kitten that needs milk replacement. knocked on door for 10 mins and no one answered, could have been in and out in that amount of time. horrible management.

The store is ok. If you purchase online and pickup in store, sometimes it’s cheaper than buying in store. I’ve tried the grooming service twice this year, once in March and now in October with the same groomer. Last time, the groomer gave me an attitude when leaving my dog. When picking my dog up, the groomer’s attitude was a bit better. I decided to give them another chance. This time, I left my dog at 12pm. The groomer mentioned they were backed up. There were two dogs checking in after me that were also her clients, and that it would be about 4hrs (first time I went it was less than 2hrs). I came at 4:40pm and my dog still wasn’t groomed (but the two dogs checked in after mine were) and they needed 30 more minutes. Ended up picking her up at 5:30pm. I understand being backed up, but if that were the case I would have brought my dog back at a later hour instead of leaving her there for multiple hours alone when I know she gets anxious (like any dog would). This isn’t the groomers fault (being backed up) more so it’s the scheduling that was at fault. But my dog’s haircut was very well executed. All this to end up paying $90 for an experience I’m not completely happy with.

If I could give zero stars I would. Came in with an hour before posted store closing and wished to purchase some fish. Was rudly told to leave because they were "already closed' extremely disappointed as I have had good experience here in the past.

Very expensive! However, they have a great Rewards program that offers lots of discounts, special events, and coupons once you reach the point level. They have just about the most comprehensive supply on pet items on the island.The best part is the knowledgeable staff! EVERY one of them is familiar with animal breed specific questions, supply brands, and they seem ready to help no matter what. They also recommend the best brands, not necessarily the most expensive.The dog obedience classes are very well priced!This location offers grooming services, too. It’s very easy to get an appointment, they work quickly and with quality, and I’ve had great experiences with their staff.My kids love that they have live cats right at the front, next to the obedience class area. They like to play with the kittens, look at the fish and turtles, and they love the SPCA adoption days.

It sells fish, bettas, supplies, and basically everything you need for having a pet. Remember, by having a pet, you promise safety, food, shelter, and unconditional love. Ps. NEVER FORCE YOUR PET INTO A VEAGAN DIET.Their staff is so nice.Even petco responds to reviews.Note to petco: plz don’t shut down 😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞🙏🙏

Excellent customer service today. Erik walked us through an initial fish tank purchase, talked through options, told us what we needed and how to do it. He mentioned the best time to buy fish (when the shipment was coming) and offered to help when needed with water analysis, etc. We definitely will be back!! (No fish yet, but soon!!)

They butchered both my dogs hair. I asked for very little to be cut off . They shaved and it was very choppy and uneven. Looks terrible.

Bought some expensive canned cat food and my cat would not eat it. This was in preparation for while I was out of state. Well, tried to exchange for a cheaper brand of canned cat food that I know she will eat. Unfortunately, the company return/exchange policy is not customer friendly. As a loyal customer who spends hundreds of dollars a month on pet care items, I am now loosing money during a recession. Petco, do better for your customers. Very disappointed.Credit to the cashier who attempted to help me, she was so kind and patient.

It’s a typical petco in terms of selection. What was odd to me was how the fish section was in the center of the store, rather than tucked to the side as usual.

Store is pretty easy to navigate with cats and dogs on opposite sides, and the smaller animals in the middle. The staff is always so kind and more then willing to help me find something they have in stocks. The store is clean and well stocked.

We walked in without an appointment to get my dog's nails trimmed. The girl up at the front took my dog in right away and did the nail trimming herself. It was done in a timely manner. Inspected my dog's nails and they were cut perfectly. Left happy :)
