Great market in the area. We stopped in to get some water and snacks and Keely wAs very pleasant. This place is wheelchair accessible. Cute town and very close to the water approx 22 miles from black sand beach.

Unique store with high end products like bulk quantities of castile soap, high end shower products with coconut for your burn, a multicultural store with corn/flour tortillas, chilled salsa, a fresh variety of fruit/vegetables and a diverse meat section. Their milk section with creamers was fully stocked. Also, the frozen and refrigerated section with specialty pies and one or two cakes for birthdays. They also have a extensive pasta section, and more than 6 different pasta sauces ranging in price. There are also some food products that are obscure and you don't expect to find there. Both mature clerks were polite, had smiles on their faces, helpful when asked to find a specific product and advanced technology for payment. Inflation and milk price are high but it is like that in our home town too. If you are a pet owner, they had a huge dog food selection when you come in to the right. Nice to have a place near by off of Lotus Blossom when staying in Oceanview.

The price markup are probably the highest on island. Waikoloa village has better prices on everything in comparison. The on sale items are even more than the average norm price else where on island. One of the most expensive stores on the island. This might be number 1. It's should be a crime to mark up such Essentials this amount.

Nice little local grocery store, great place to buy those things you don't want to run back to Kona or Hilo for. Produce selection is limited. They have a decent health food section, their meat department is clean neat and well maintained, the freezers all well stocked nothing appears freezer burned or as if it has defrosted and refroze, good pet food selection, reasonably priced dairy section all in all a good place to shop. Staff also have always been friendly, fast and courteous.

Ocean View Market is a staple of Ocean View, but the owners are not community-minded. Their prices keep going up, but they do keep their equipment up to date. (For example another local market has had a freezer problem for years, everything I got out of that freezer was freezer burned. But I've been told they just replaced it finally. Something to do with corporate taking their time.) Anyway, quite often Ocean View Market will have clearance items marked down maybe 10 cents. And sale items marked down 30 to 50 cents. If the original item was 7 or $8, I don't think that counts as much of a sale. But we are a captive audience here. And they could be worse. The people that work there are good.

Very spacious, ok parking, ok selection.Assistance is not always easy to find and after numerous visit over the last year, I am yet to see a welcoming smile on any employee's face.No organic section in the store - a miss in a society that is becoming very aware of food quality and health.Update: (2021)The store is brighter, clean and more spacious. There's better selection of all products and more assistance is available.It is now our store to go to locally.

Unlike another reviewer, I was struck by how friendly the employees were on both of my visits. The range of selections is not a mint, but I found everything I needed. Some particularly nice fresh fish was in stock. The prices were slightly high, as everything is in Hawaii, but their unadvertised specials - that's only on the individual display cases - were really amazing deals. Coconut water for half off and one kind of ice cream for half off. Easy to get into and out of, and practically no waiting.

They're a little pricy but it is what it is. However the JAPANESE BREAD though. Well damn they make a awesomely dense square bread. Anyways they're clean and a great place to stop at when you're this far down on the island.

Small grocery store with decent pricing. I was expecting a small selection of groceries with "small store pricing" due to smaller stores not having the ability to buy in large quantities. Surprisingly, this us not the case. The produce was fresh, meat selection was great, and the dry goods pricing was on par with the larger grocers in town. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great little grocery store with Hawaiian Oceanview charm.

Nice little local market. Outhouse bathrooms weren't great for the trip back from the NP, pretty dirty. The ice cream was refreshing, but a bit overpriced for a supermarket.

Super friendly and helpful employees. I lost my credit card in the parking lot. They found it and safely kept it for me until I returned to retrieve it. Food prices are pretty good of Hawaii, especially the specials.

This place is awesome. The locally cooked street vendor type food is always delicious. Get there early for the best locally grown produce. If you like a garage sale, you will love this place. There is something here for everyone, you just have to hunt for it.
