Very friendly staff, amazing coffee, smoothies, and snacks. The prices are reasonable and the inside is stunning! The inside is very simplistic and well designed.Vegetarian options: There are clearly marked vegan/vegetarian items on the menu.Dietary restrictions: There are many things that you can ask for vegan/gluten free/lactose free.Parking: Lots of spots!Kid-friendliness: They have generic foods that picky eaters/kids would enjoy.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp leading up to the front, and handicap spots.

Great local place that serves coffee grown on South Point Road. They use medium roast Boar brand Kau coffee. Really tasty! Plenty of outside seating. They also have a few pastries made in-house. Plenty of parking in a non-gated lot. Great local atmosphere. They have a bathroom. Definitely worth a stop!Vegetarian options: They sell some vegan pastries!Parking: Just don't block the ambulance!

Locals not welcome! They must not care about their local customers at all. I bought at least 12 large coffees per week there, but no more. I had the door shut in my face, after standing in line for ten minutes. Supposedly open until five, closed at two. The person behind the counter was extremely slow and there was a line out the door. I was the only one turned away and I had been there as long as everyone else. I am a local. Everyone else was a tourist. Not the kind of place I want to do business with anymore.

This cafe was fantastic. I actually stopped by twice in the same day. The staff was great and very nice, the patio is nice to sit on you will probably see a bunch of lizards. The thing to get here without a doubt is the 7 later brownie thing. It's the thing on the bottom shelf in my picture under the cookies. It is delicious.

I ordered a chi latte and had a snack as well. Great drink! Very friendly staff and helpful with my order. Very well made shop(appealing to the eye), looked very professional as well as clean and well maintained. I'd love to visit them again!

This is a hidden gem! If you’re a coffee fiend and tired of having over-roasted oily beans, this roaster knows how to roast a proper medium and dark roast. This is single origin Kua coffee, which means it’s grown in a different region of the big island than the more famous Kona region.As a result Ka Lea will satisfy both the coffee tourist and the coffee fiend.The make their own 1st rate sandwiches and home baked cookies and coffee cakes.So, if you’re reading this while standing in a long line with a tourist bus crowd in front of you, at the well-known Bake Shop 100 yards across the street, get outta that line, and walk on over.

What a gem! Found this lovely spot on our way to the green sand beach. The owner was incredibly kind and the normal brewed coffee (had it black) was the best we had on the island. Overheard the owner say he built the shelving himself with wood from his wedding which I thought was so neat. The outdoor space and plants were a great place to enjoy our morning brews. Highly recommend!

A must stop if you’re in the area! We were curious about trying Ka’u coffee for the first time and we’re so glad we did. The girls working in the cafe were very friendly and the barista made us some amazing iced lattes (seriously, we were so impressed!). There’s also a cute seating area if you plan to dine in, a small food menu, and coffee beans for purchase (which we definitely bought to take home with us). The iced mac nut latte with oat milk was a 10/10!!!

Loved visiting this coffee shop. 100% local family coffee farms/estate (in-laws) supplied beans. Love the outdoor setup. Such a chilled out vibe. GREAT drip coffee. As clean and flavorful as you can find. Similar to Kona, but brighter. Medium roast

Beautiful, cute and yummy coffee house. Definitely recommend having a coffee here! You can just have a take away or enjoy one on the terras. They have some things to eat aswell but if there’s nothing of your liking, you can just cross the street where you’ll find a lovely bakery and shop!
