This place is incredible. The cook makes a half dozen amazing dogs with a dozen different toppings. He works quickly but if there's a line it's definitely worth the wait!There are chips and drinks and covered picnic tables to eat at. Adorable chickens wander around the parking lot.The hot dog stand is also a gorgeous flower stand with orchids and many beautiful flower varieties.

Best kept secret. We had 4 different types and all were yummy. Great suggestions on what to put on it. Spam was well prepared. Perfect place to eat after our Green Sands Beach Hike. I highly consider visiting this place to replenish the families stomachs 😃The family also has a beautiful flower garden that you can pick from. It was a great little walk.DDO IT; DO IT; DO IT! You won't be disappointed.

It can take a while to get here since it is right at the intersection of Hwy 11 and South Point Road, but it is very much worth it!! My husband and I are not big hot dog fans, and I would consider these gourmet island style. We did not try the jumbo all beef but the portuguese sausage, hotlink and pineapple pork were all excellent. He also has lots of condiments to compliment the sausage flavors. Seating is outdoors and next to a cut your own flowers garden. There can be a wait and the food is made when ordered. Again, very definitely worrh the wait. We split a dog the first time, and the 2nd time we went, we moved up to a dog each. They were so delicious we could not help ourselves. Pro tip - ask him what he thinks goes best with that particular dog and go crazy with the condiments. Believe me! It is all good! Next time we will eat there and bring some back to the house!

This place was AMAZING! We stopped by for a late lunch and had a nice chat with the owner, who made great suggestions on what to order. We got the Portuguese Big Lorenzo and the Southpoint Salsa Dog and both were incredible! The prices were great and the portions were huge! Cannot recommend making the stop more if you're driving by!! Delicious!

What a fun find after a few hours at Green Sand Beach. Pulled up wanting a cold drink and expecting just a hot dog. Ha! Nope. He had a great selection of other dogs and we all opted for the Big Lorenzo Portuguese Dog. I did not add toppings to mine as I wanted to taste the meat and bakery bun which were stellar. The meat was grilled to perfection. The owner is super nice. Don’t hesitate to stop here, you will not be disappointed.Parking: Parking on site

I stopped by 2 days ago and had the best hot dog I ever ate in the United States. I am Brazilian and the hot dogs here are very close to what we are used to eat in Brazil. It’s tasty and has plenty of add on options at good price. Both me and my hubby got the jumbo all beef, loved it.For my baby I got baked potato and liked it as well. The guy here is very friendly. I wish you all much success. Thanks for the amazing time and food!

I had been looking forward to trying this all day and it was so worth it! You might wonder how this hot dog is any different from what you get elsewhere? Well for one he uses real cheese that is grilled with the bun and that is what I think his secret is! He didn't have mango salsa but my hot dog was amazing without it. Lovely area to sit and if you're local you can pick flowers!

Portuguese Big Lorenzo is the move!First let me say the owner is hands down one of the nicest and coolest people we’ve met on the island.Now to the good stuff. The Big Lorenzo is the local vibe if you’re trying to blend in. Stack it with toppings and you’re good to go. Super huge and will Lee you full for hours.Tons of parking, nice area to eat if you want to hangout and he even has a sink to wash your hands.10/10 for quality, conversations and overall experience. Please support local and show them some love.I will add, the Google times are off. Showed he wasn’t open but was. Might try your luck.

Best hot dog breakfast/lunch experience ever! Perfect place to stop on your way in or out of green sand beach! The nicest owner and he had his daughter there, who was likely my favorite hospitality server of the year. On point recommendations, sharing of family condiment preferences, and apt descriptions of potato chip distinctions. We were all very happy with the huge Lorenzo, all beef, and I got a special with grilled cheese with bacon. Unassuming, but a real winner.

It’s a very new place. I highly recommend everyone to stop here if you are gonna go to the Green sand or the Black sand beach. DO NOT MISS THIS. It’s a family owned and managed business. The guy who helped us was so helpful and payed detailed attention to prepare our order. It’s a big portion and we loved the flavored so much, we all ended up repeating our order. So are so grateful to have spotted this little place.

DELICIOUS. I split the Portuguese Big Lorenzo and the Pineapple Pork sausage. The Lorenzo was absolutely delicious, but the Pineapple Pork stole the show. It’s all sweet to spicy, indulgent perfection. 10/10 worth the stop.

What a gem of a find! We stopped by this hot dog stand on the way to South Island. The owners were so sweet and friendly and the food was delicious.I highly recommend the Kielbasa (polish dog). It was so good that even though the portion size was huge I devoured the entire thing. My husband got the Portuguese sausage and he enjoyed that a lot too, but personally I loved the Kielbasa much more.Definitely plan on stopping by. It was such a local and fun Hawaiian experience that made our trip more memorable.
