Cute little cookie store in makawao , apparently these cookies are super famous and I had no idea. The store is super small with only 6 people inside at a time. The shop owner is super sweet and helpful. There are plenty of sweet treats to pick from including cookies, ice cream bars, the super yummy north shore peanut butter that I miss and so much more. If you are going to Maui or just want to have them shipped to you check them out in person or online. Support local businesses there.

The shop was cute and all decorated. There was lots of different items to look at for sale. The cookie lady was very nice and friendly. As I was going into this store I was under the impression that the cookies would be fresh and home made in the shop. But the cookies were actually premade and in packages, shipped to the shop. The cookies were on the more pricier side. We bought 4 cookies while we were there and it was about $27.

I’m a bit of a good critic but these are incredible. I have been ordering for years and got to visit the shop in Makawao town. I buy the large cookies for presents and everyone given too loves them. I like the small ones and Buttercitch Kisses and Pineapple passion my favorite. I also like the grown up Samoa w coconut and dark chocolate . Yummy

I have made and ate a lot of cookies in my life. There is nothing that compares to these cookies. I am only disappointed it took me so long to order. The shipping costs are worth it ten times over. (Do not let this stop you.) The flavors are so full and perfectly blended. The ingredients taste like I am in Maui eating them fresh from the oven. I have no idea how they achieve such magical goodness. There was a pineapple flavored cookie sample and it tasted like I was eating a fresh pineapple! I could not stop eating it. 100/10 recommend. (The monthly subscription box is a great introduction to try them!)

I definitely 100% recommend making this stop in Makawao town. Visiting Maui from San Diego, and knew this shop was a must-see. The decorations and ambiance of the store is so charming! I honestly felt like I was at Disneyland. I think it's so important to support small businesses wherever you travel, and this has been my favorite this trip.This store is also sells other products from local small businesses! I picked up a majority of my souvenirs and gifts to bring home from this shop.The staff was so kind and helpful! I really appreciated their recommendations when I wasn't sure what to choose. And of course, the cookies are incredible! I purchased the classic butter rum (my favorite), the strawberry brownie, and the oatmeal molasses! I picked up some mini versions for friends and family and some big ones for myself. I love that there's the option for both!

It's a neat shop in Makawao with enthusiastic sales people. I wouldn't drive out there just for this place again. It's fun to check out the other shops and make a day of it to support some of the other local shops.Sadly, the cookies don't seem to live up to the hype. They're almost $10 each and turn into a very crumbly mess. Oddly the middle was undercooked, probably because they're so large. We were both turned off by the gritty texture. Not sure what that was.We really tried to enjoy it but it just didn't justify the price or the hype.

I placed an order online after the tragic fires in Maui in early August because I wanted to do what I could to help support the island from far away in Texas because I love Maui and all the people I've met there. I received my cookies yesterday and was pleasantly surprised with how well everything was packaged and all the little things that were done to make my package unique and special. Most importantly...EVERY cookie was delivered in tact and so scrumptious!! I will not hesitate to order from The Maui Cookie Lady again even though there are cookie bakeries on pretty much every corner of my home town. Mahalo for adding and sending extra Aloha to me.

This is a tiny, charming little spot. The inside is whimsical, and their cookies are rich, chewy, and worth every penny. They also have packaged items like flavored peanut butter, locally made. Stop in when you're in the area for a taste of heaven. (The line is out the door but moves fast.)

Cute & quaint little cottage bakery. The large cookies make great gifts and treats. They also have ice cream, honey, and frozen chocolate covered pineapple spears. Don't need fooled by a closed door that's meant to keep the AC in.

An adorable tiny shop that sells not only the massive 6oz cookies in all flavors but also sorbets, ice cream bars, and assorted Hawaiian treats, like local chocolate bars and candies! The lilikoi cookie and strawberry cookie were both perfectly baked, the right level of soft and moist. Really well done cookies. I would buy from here again!

After hearing about The Maui Cookie Lady from a friend for years I was finally able to try Da Half Baked and fell in love! It’s HUGE! And everything I never knew I needed in a cookie. The outer cookie was the closest to the raw cookie dough flavor I’ve ever tried, and I’ve tried many over the years. 10/10 in my book. I also tried Anuhea’s Upcountry Breeze and honestly wasn’t expecting Love at First Bite but it’s EXACTLY what I got! I’m usually a chocolate chip cookie girl so I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about a fruity one but 🤯🤩😍, wow! 15/10!

SO MAGICAL! It's like walking into a fairytale. Such a beautiful little shop. We tried some of their cookies, which are baked fresh every morning, and they were the best cookies I've ever had. The Lilikoi cookie was the favourite. Wanted to try the others the next day, but didn't make it before the closed shop. Will be recommending this to anyone visiting Maui. Thank you for such a lovely experience <3

Do yourselves a favor & splurge on a few (or more) of these cookies - you'll be happy you did! Every year that we're in Maui we HAVE to stop by to see the Maui Cookie Lady herself, Mitzi, & get some of her delicious cookies — also make sure you stock up, they store perfectly in the freezer. I remember the first time we tried them, they had a little shop set up in the Maui Pack & Ship in Kahului - we were blown away then & we're blown away now, several years later. The new shop in Makawao fits the historic town beautifully. You walk in & you're instantly whisked away to a dreamland filled with sweet treats - the decor, the sights, sounds & smells! Once you bite into the cookies, you'll be asking yourself why you didn't buy more! Our favorite is Da Half Baked & anything with peanut butter, but we love trying her seasonal flavors. The Maui Cookie Lady is a part of our family's annual Maui trip & we look forward to it every single time - Mitzi is a doll, the staff is great, the shop looks awesome & the cookies....oh, the cookies!

If you’re thinking about ordering their subscription… DO IT. It’s cold here in Chicago, but just one bite of a Maui Cookie Lady cookie takes me back to lazily laying beachside in Maui. These cookies are thick, luscious, and remind me of biting into heaven. We were gifted a subscription from our parents and look forward to the little brown box with a bright pink sticker monthly. Don’t be fooled, these cookies pack flavor, my FAVORITE are the Pineapple Lychee I could eat 3-5 in one sitting but then would never fit back in my swimsuit to visit gorgeous Maui again.Side note: we LIVE for the love notes hand written on the side of every box. Can it get any cuter?

I got the oatmeal strawberry and orange creamsicle cookie with orange cream in the center. Super good, definitely try heating them up in the microwave. Both cookies were a 10/10 but I also got a peanut butter cookie which stands as the best peanut butter cookie I have ever eaten. Lots of the flavors are super unique and have plenty of Hawaiian inspiration. The store is great, the service is great and every flavor of cookie is top tier. This is definitely a must stop for me now whenever I visit maui.

I found out years ago about these cookies when The Rock posted about them on IG and omgsh can I see why. And you'll be able to see why after drooling over these pictures. The cookies are absolutely incredible, creative flavors, come neatly shipped and microwave beautifully. Not only do the cookies taste amazing but the Maui Cookie Lady team is so kind and amazing. It feels great supporting a small business that cares about their community and their customers. Go buy these cookies...now. :)

Visit this spot!!! We flew in from Colorado and absolutely looooved the cookies. The store is magical and the staff are so friendly. It’s a must-go stop if you’re on island. Be sure to account for about an extra 15lb in cookies you’re gonna want to take back with you if you’re flying home after :)

Aloha,Wow, it was amazingly delicious!😋 and they're so huge, I couldn't finish it.My ohana raved about these delicious cookies from The Maui Cookie Lady. So I ordered several different flavors online. The Tropical Monkey, Kona Coffee and ButterRum Triple Chunker.My shipment arrived pretty quick. It took only 4 days to be shipped to the Mainland. If you love amazing cookies you MUST try the Maui Cookie Lady! The cookies are absolutely wonderful and such a creative combination of flavors. The cookies are huge and oh so tasty (its tempting to eat a whole one at once.) If you go to Maui, stop here! If you don't go to Maui, order online!! You will not be disappointed! The staff definitely has the aloha spirit as well. I can't say enough about both the yummy goodies and the customer service. And dont forget the beautiful packing! Mahalo!!

Years ago, I remember discovering theMaui Cookie Lady's cookies through Yelpwhile trying to plan a trip to Maui. I wasable to find the huge stuffed cookies atthe Maui Ocean Center's gift shop. Fastforward to now and Mitzi, the MauiCookie Lady, is baking cookies for thestars and has been featured in RachelRay and O Magazine and has her owncookie website for easy online ordering.I look forward to visiting her new store in Makawao, but for now will continue to order her cookies online. The extra large cookies are made with ingredients that she locally sources whenever possible. My family’s favorite is the Half-Baked: a gigantic cookie stuffed with Reese's, Snickers & Oreo. We also enjoy trying her new flavors that are always so creative. Her cookies have been my go-to gift tosend and share some Aloha to friends.Her story of her hard work and her dedication to quality resulting in a successful locally and woman owned business is an absolute inspiration.

If you’re into thick and fudgy cookies, you need to try this DA half baked cookie from “The Maui Cookie Lady”.This cookie weighs approximately 8 oz, has a chewy and velvety cookie dough base that’s stuffed with not only oreos but snickers, reeses, and chocolate chips as well. All in all, making it perfect for pb, caramel, and chocolate lovers. The great thing about this specific cookie is that although it may look a bit too much, the flavors work so well together and you could actually taste each flavor in a one single bite!!!
