This little store has everything you would want to snack on or eat. Cold brew nitro coffee is awesome and so is the selection of sandwiches and poke! Staff was extremely nice! Cant wait to come back!

Small show with a ton of personality. Sell spices, liquor food and stuff. Any place with a dad joke on chalkboard as you walk in is a must stop in if you are in the areaI’m not a coffee person but I’m told they have really good coffee

We absolutely love bringing our guest here every morning and afternoon when hosting our Downhill Bike Tours. The daily dad jokes are always our favorite- LOVE the ladies working in the front alongside Puff the infamous cat. This is the heart of Makawao and true feel of Makawao Town. Aloha- Maui Easy Riders

The Rodeo General Store is great! They have a bit of everything, including an entire aisle of booze. Prices are a little high, but to be expected. Good drip coffee (dark roast) is weirdly difficult to find in Makawao, but the RGS has you covered! In addition to a good selection of coffee to make at home, they have three roast levels brewed up everyday; including both dairy and non dairy cream options. Most days, there is a small selection of fresh fruits and veg (papaya, lychee, dragon fruit, citrus, avocados, garlic, etc), some prepared hot foods (sandos, lunch plates, pasteries, salads, and poke), and some pre-coffee trivia that is so bad it's funny. Staff are super friendly and chat with locals and tourists alike. The store has laid back, island time ambiance about it that is always inviting. For the month I spent in Makawao, I stopped by RGS at least once a day.Y'all are fantastic... keep it up!

Cute general store that carries a small range of produce and other groceries, aimed at tourists here for short stays. Extremely expensive ($5 for a snack pineapple, $4 for a box of Kirkland Signature oat milk) but they stock a lot of local brands and have a prepared foods section!

Great store with lots of options. Had pre made breakfast there, their burritos, Kalua pork Chilaquiles were amazing! Costumer service was very friendly and they had a great variety of items.

Came here for a quick lunch. Was blown away by the delicious poke bowls and AMAZING pulled pork sandwich. Store sells a lot of drinks too and the staff are super friendly. Definitely worth the stop over.

Came to Makawo to quick look at some shops before catching our flight out of Maui. Came upon this store and the menu looked really good. We wanted to eat quick before our flight anyway. I had the Asian chicken sandwich and my husband had the ahi poke bowl. Both were absolutely amazing and filled with flavor! Staff was very helpful and nice too. Looks like you can also pick up snacks and such too. Worth checking out.

sandwiches are better than subway, anyway. the gelato is great. i like the feral chickens with constant chicks. wildly overpriced and they love throwing hidden fees onto everything without telling you. Note: hidden is not subtle, adding one extra ingredient adds a full one-third the cost of the sandwich on to the price. They're typically very nice though, except for when it gets busy. like many people in Hawaii it seems like they have a very difficult time handling anything even reasonably fast-paced so they seem to get overwhelmed

A little bit of everything: great sandwiches and prepared food, some produce (some local) and staples, and some luxuries - including a wine room. Prices seem to be about the same as everywhere else in Hawaii (except maybe Costco and Wallmart if you want to go for a drive). Helpful staff. Couldn't ask for more.

I hesitated to give the place one star but then I remembered that my experience today hasn't been the first awful experience at the Rodeo. No. Not at all. Today the girl behind the deli counter was so rude to me and then was actually yelling you're welcome! throughout the store, over and over again, (because i didn't thank her for her rudeness)while her and the girl behind the cashier bantered loudly back and forth about being wasted at some party. I was just standing there holding my two year old wishing i could explode and destroy everyone, but we dont live in that kind of a world, so here I am. Doing the only thing society will accept.A complaint. A poor review. But if you're reading this, and you have ever been served by some lazy disrespectful person, who you know would be fired if their boss saw them talking to you like that, but they do it because they think they can, boycott the Rodeo. Its Overpriced AND has horrible customer service. Its happened at different times over the years. Customer service is not a priority at all.

I bought 6 pack of beer which should be 10.49$ but they charged me 14.99$ for mixing two flavours of the same beer, and before that I asked them if I can do that. They said yes, and didn’t inform me, that they will charge almost 50% of the price charge. It seems like they want to ear additional money on tourists.
