I would skip this place…Service is mediocre, food price is ridiculous, and food quality is poor for the price. The lady running the stand is nice but slightly unorganized. Could have just been an off day but I’ve ate here a few times before and wasn’t impressed. I figured I would give um another chance, but still no prevail. Whatever price is on the board is not reflected as the price at checkout. Not sure if they just haven’t updated the menu in awhile, but expect to pay 2$ extra for anything listed. Overall I think the whole operation has gone downhill. Definite room for improvement, and if you’re going to charge 7-8$ for a franks red hot dog and 9$ for a chili bowl, at least make it quality. Maybe consider giving kama’aina discount for locals.

Craving a hot dog, but hate that you can never find one that is gluten-free? Your wish has been granted! Delicious GF dogs and lemonade. Just be aware that there may be a limited supply of GF buns.

Fantastic hot dogs! We were so impressed by the quality of the relish and we loved the pepperoncini peppers! The woman at the stand was so nice. They offer a veggie dog option for an extra $2. They have shave ice and lemonade as well— great one-stop stand to get a satisfying summer meal. There are maybe 4 picnic tables in this little marketplace so it may be hard to find a seat.Vegetarian options: Veggie dog option for extra $2Parking: Street parking only and very limited options if parking right near the marketplace.

The food here is really good. Quite the selection of choices for flavors to add to the lemonade. I got a lilikoi lemonade and everything hotdog. They are both very good. I definitely recommend this place if you’re in Makawao town and hungry for a quick meal.

Best dogs on the island!! Very creative menu and great friendly service. Who thought Frida Kahlo could be a hot dog!!

Great spot for fast eats from nice folks. Tasty fresh squeezed lemonade and a wide selection of shave ice flavors, along with rotating food specials.
