A financial advisor introduced us to Kit Okazaki's office because our investments are largely real estate.State Farm is large, national, and diversified and will be solvent when smaller local state insurance companies might be overwhelmed by a natural disaster or large fire. So a large company is better in this case.Kit Okazaki personally and his office and agents are completely available and quick to help. Kit reviewed our needs and carefully explained every option to tailor our coverage to our exact needs. He offered to do this at various times in the future to keep us current. The price was very competitive as well.We are completely impressed, feel valued and rest easy knowing our investments are being taken care of safely. All our calls are handled quickly and patiently and with good energy.We would give more than 5 stars if we could.

We have had our insurance policies with Kit Okazaki's office for over 15 years. Kit is a hands on kind of guy who reached out to us to review our policies when he became our insurance guy. Thank God he did. We had a flood in our home in 2014 and if it wasn't for Kit reviewing our coverage 2 years prior, we would not have been covered properly for the flood.Also, Kit's staff are always so friendly and very helpful. When my vehicle was hit by an aggressive driver right before Christmas, I didn’t know what to do or think. I reached out to the other drivers insurance handler over email, as no one ever answered the phone. Instead of receiving any sort of empathy or reassurance that they would be taking care of me. I faced push back and was told that it was my duty to mitigate damages with my own insurance. (Even though I was not at fault whatsoever)Of the one or two specific body shops able to work on my vehicle, None would work with that specific insurance carrier. Feeling totally stressed out and not knowing what to do, I contacted my local State Farm office (Kit Okazaki) and was put into contact with Tiana Raymondo. From minute one to the end of our conversation, I immediately felt a sense of relief and for the very first time, that everything was going to be Okay. Kit Okazakis office in pukalani has given me the absolute best customer service I have ever had in the 15 years that I’ve had car insurance. They are very personable when you call the office and know you on a first name basis. They are very proactive in contacting you, unlike many other companies!!! They will call you, text you, email you, AND send you multiple notifications by mail if there are to be any changes to your coverages. No surprises with these guys! They are more than happy to be of assistance and I’ve always felt very well taken care of! When it comes to claims they don’t give you any grief if you need to file. And more than anything, I love her friendly manner. Then, today, I called the office to inquire about my policy, and an agent named Alyssa Souza helped me. For the past 9 years Kit Okazaki has been our agent for homeowners and automobile policies. We're pretty picky regarding expected service from our agent, and Kit always delivers. What makes this office exceptional though is that we receive the same friendly, efficient and knowledgeable service from every person in that office. Sometimes we'll call with a problem or a question. Sometimes I just stop in the office. I'm always greeted the minute I walk in. Invariably the person at the front desk or one of the desks nearby will listen to my question, look up the answer on their computer, consult with a colleague or Kit if necessary, print a document if I need it, and I'm out the door with a smile on my face. I appreciate Malia with helping me with my car insurance… I was with State Farm for almost 40 years before moving to Hawaii. Geico, it’s a little bit cheaper initially; but there was zero payout claim for a small ( than $50) paint transfer from a parking lot incident.The young man, never got his car fixed. Geico planned to charge me $100 more per month.!!! I still have a life insurance policy with State Farm and I will be transferring my renters policy to State Farm and canceling Geico for that also! State Farm Sylvia, good to me for so many years! I never should have left!

While I have never needed to file a major claim to test State Farm, in general I get the feeling that the team would have my back.The few times I've had some things like a crack in the windshield or needed a tow, the process was painless and the team very responsive.Regarding business liability insurance, the team has always been very responsive to get me the COIs I need for various businesses.Another thing I appreciate is that I have not once received any pressure sales tactics from them. We just had a low pressure chat about what my business' and family's needs are and made it happen.All in all, I recommend this insurance agency for their care and concern for their clients, as well as neighbors in the community.
