There is indeed a reason many say Foodland has some of the best poke available and they definitely do have likely the most variety. There is a bit of a restriction to two selections if you want a bowl but the world is your oyster if you are looking to buy bulk selections. Different locations will have different options usually as well.

Great store, although prices are on the high side. The store is nicely maintained and well stocked. Plus points include the poke selection, which is excellent and reasonably priced. There is also an area for gourmet foods in one of the front corners of the store; this stocks a very nice selection of more premium items, including chocolate and cookies. There are quite a few local items and Asian products. Most staff are very friendly, although there a few who need to brush up on their customer service skills!

Absolutely love foodland no matter what department they always welcome you and make you feel like family.. shopping here feels like home and I'm comfortable because everyone is so friendly and truly express the meaning of ALOHA.. and not to mention their poke and deli is AMAZING gotta try their Pastele stew

Nicest Foodland I visited on Maui. Had all the goods to send back home. Poke was super ono. Store was super clean.

Always has everything that I need no matter matter what it is they always have it from seasonings to meat to healthy food options. I would highly recommend this place.

Today, my son and I ordered from the poke counter and were assisted by “Carter” (I hope I have his name right). He was so helpful and friendly. I’ve never had a negative experience with anyone there, but for some reason his positivity really stood out. There seems to be a lot of tension and negativity out there lately, so Thank you Carter for being a bright spot in our day!! And, of course, the poke was delicious as always.

Very nice Foodland location. Incredibly friendly staff, tons of selection, organized well. Note to public: they do not have restrooms. Other than that, great place to shop and get groceries!

I absolutely 💯 love Foodland Pukalani Hawaii. Been shopping here for most of my life living Upcountry Maui. Great prices with maikai card. Fresh produce and 💐 flowers. Awesome staff , some who have worked there for years. Aloha🌺🌻

This is my favorite bigger grocery store, but it's still so local friendly! They carry a lot of local products as well as mainland things and have a great points award system. I usually get over $400 worth of products and spend around $300 after discounts. They usually have everything that I go there for and I've never bought a bad piece of meat which is a very big deal in me! Great job to the staff at Food Land, Pukalani! The staff always remembers me and asks how my kids are doing because I no longer bring them there with me as I shop alone in peace, hahaha!!!

I just checked by calling and found out the store up country maui now closes at 10:00pm so the info when you look it up on line says 9pm closes soon is incorrect

Arrived from the UK 1 month ago...have tried everywhere, either too expensive, limited range or just a really 'odd' vibe. Foodland is bloody brilliant! Excellent range, 'reasonable for Maui' prices and really lovely service. It's our regular now, and it's not around the corner from us in Kula! Thank you, everyone, for making us feel really welcome. Very nice customer service! The aisles are very clean. The only problem I had was when I went to buy some poke, I told the employee behind the counter that a fly got into the case where the poke was located. She looked at me then just ignored me. Flys on top of raw fish is NOT good.

Poke counter is great! But … literally everything else is not. Foodland is the most expensive place to buy groceries on the island. The cashiers at this location are nice, but there hot food bar employees are incredibly rude and incompetent.There is one incredibly hard working young man who I see busting his buns everyday in the parking lot, been working there for years, makes me feel kind of bad for him.

Ever since they updated the store. The service has been getting better. I shop here mostly because of the lady's in the pharmacy. They have been taking care of me for years, they go above and beyond and they know what meds I should have and go the extra mile to make sure I have everything that I need. I will even go as far as to say best pharmacy on the island. A lot of the people in the store are very helpful as far as employees go. Seems like managers seem to come and go at this store. But it's nice that a lot of the employees have been there for a while. The quality of the products has improved a lot. The meat dept seems to always have a nice selection and the poke and sea food Dept also do a great job. A lot of the guys in the produce Dept also seem to go out of there way to help out. In general I am happy that this is my local store. They do a great job and the store looks great. This is a good locals store or if your a visitor a nice place to pickup some great snack or food.

Great store. Has a great bakery, poke bar, great produce and other local favorites. The store is very clean. It has a Starbucks. Located in Pukalani Terraces Shopping Center. Across from the 39 & 40 Maui Bus Stop.

Our 'Go-To' place. Prices are competitive to other foodlands. Love the long time staff, they acknowledge the frequent visitors and all are very courteous and kind to all the customers.

Good selection, friendly staff, but high prices. I would love to see a local coffee company instead of Starbucks, as well. Foodland is usually so good about supporting local businesses.
