We ordered a washer, dryer and new stove. All came in and were all installed. And delivered between the window time. All appliances work good. Service at home depot was great. Very happy. Can't wait to get a new fridge.

I gave the clerk checking out my purchases a wrapper from some yard clippers that were missed in my cart on a previous visit. She thanked me and said she would give me a discount. the next day I looked at the receipt to find a discount double the price of the clippers. Unbelievable generosity I didn't deserve. thanks Dez

Came here to buy Christmas lights. I entered happy but left dissatisfied and feeling discriminated against with the whole shopping experience. To start, there was no easily accessible shopping cart or hand cart in sight to help me carry the large items. I knew the carts were outside, which I did step out to find but were all the other side of the parking lot. No thanks. so I had to hand carry them to the checkout using the reusable bags I brought with me. When I finally made it to checkout, the ladies there treated me like I was about to steal something, and seemed to be more suspicious when I said I was still looking for another item. I ignored it, but what set me off was when one of the ladys had to scrutinized my ID against my debit card. I felt like cancelling the whole transaction at that time. I will not consider shopping at Home Depot anymore, and if I do, I'll make sure to make it my last resort after stopping by Walmart, Target, Costco, and Ace. I'll be returning the items I bought as well.2 stars because the guys who work at the Christmas tree section were pretty cool.

If you're thinking about calling this store I hope you like the sound of endless phone ringing, unknowledgeable staff, and dropped calls.After multiple failed attempts to speak to someone helpful over the course of several days, I gave up and called Kauai Ace Hardware. They picked up on the first ring and I was able to speak to friendly (like actually cheerful and sounded like they're having a great time), helpful and knowledgeable people right away.HD lost about $1500 in business on this item, and likely more going forward.

I was looking for a portable air conditioner because our VRBO doesn't have it and was able to call the store and have an updated link of the available products texted to me. We were able to purchase an air conditioner and return it unused, unopened the following day when our VRBO owner's denied the used of it. We appreciated the help locating the air conditioner and the easy, hassle-free return.

Tried to rent a van. They told me to call at 1, it would be back. Called and they said 'no maybe try Monday (2 days away)."Apparently they don't take reservations and you just have to 'guess' when to call and hope something is available. When I asked if I could be put on a list or for any more info, the manager said 'it is what it is.'Very poor customer service. At least give people a time or help them rent stuff

Georgia has THE WORST attitude ever.Do not stand BEHIND her , unless you like to get scolded by her. She said she has personal issue people standing behind her,lol.You’re at the wrong place since you work at the store.Super rude customer service.I’m glad I didn’t spend any $$$ , got $50.00 cheaper washer ( the same model ) at Costco instead.

The customer service here has always been hit or miss, but today it was definitely a miss. It seemed like nobody wanted to be bothered, each person we asked just wanted to hand is off to someone else and the woman at the desk in the flooring/countertop area was exasperated at my boyfriend even asking for help. Every single laminate we asked about couldn't be shipped here even though they are all on display in the store.....so I'm not sure why they are in display? Nobody had an answer for that and we were told at 1pm that since the mainland stores were closed they couldn't find out why none of the looking on display was actually available. So after almost two hours in the store asking the same questions to 3 different people, we got nowhere. I totally recognize that it's not everyone, and may not even be intentional, but it still feels yucky to feel like "a bother" when u need help.

This review is for Penny, the woman who works at the self checkout. I have been to this Home Depot 3 times and each time she was very helpful, funny and made my day better. I hope this review is recognized by Home Depot and Home Management. There aren't many kind people like Penny left in retail these days. Thank you Penny.

Excellent Product, mixed results with customer service. Perhaps they were short handed over the weekend? The staff that dealt with my Friday pick up time changes was VERY patient and accommodating. The staff that handled my Sunday return time was not very knowledgeable and the Rental categories of 4 hours, 1 Day, or 1 Week seem to handcuff the staff. I wanted to return my Rental a few hours past two days, but staff couldn't tell me how much it would cost. I was in Koke'e so I couldn't check online for myself. I had to extend one day and return my rental the next day to avoid hourly charges, which I thought was silly since I was willing to pay for an extra day. The staff member could have saved me $17, but I was so happy with the product it was worth it to test it prior to buying a new one.

Being a Pro Member of Home Depot. I must say how disappointed I am with the lack of Customer Service available to anyone.Trying to call in and reach a human customer service agent or human period is like playing the lottery. If you do by chance have someone answer your call after a long waiting period most likely you’ll be directed to the wrong department or it’ll ring and ring for a long period of time and then looped back into the endless maze of automated blah blah blah.So you go to the Home Depot in hopes to get what you need. Sometimes there are plenty of staff in orange vest walking around so you stop one of them to ask a question and they either give you the wrong information or just don’t know. My favorite reply is they tell you that you have to go to that department and speak with them. So head over to the department and nobody is around so you stop someone in the orange vest and explain to them that you’ve been instructed to see someone in that department but nobody has been around yet after waiting. They play dumb or tell you that I’ll call someone over to help you. After waiting you still are waiting. You stop another orange vest employee and let them know you’ve been waiting for some help and the employee said they will call someone over. Then they suggest calling in by phone.This is absolutely unbelievable this kind of disservice exists for a brand name.This is not an isolated incident. But repeatedly! And many others have shared experiencing the same inadequate treatment.

Horrible customer service! The worst I have ever experienced. If I could rate this place zero stars I would. We purchased a mini refrigerator. When we opened the box at home we saw that it was dented. My husband took it back and asked for someone to help him exchange it for an undamaged one. He had our toddler with him and asked for assistance moving the damaged refrigerator from our car to to the store. Staff refused to help. He finally got the refrigerator into the store to do the exchange and the customer service person who started helping him told him to wait and eventually never came back. This happened twice. He must have gone through five different sales associates trying to do a simple exchange and it ended up taking him more than two hours to accomplish. All the while, our toddler, who was totally content at the beginning of this excursion eventually melted down in the store. Staff (perhaps not all staff but at least the five or so who serviced us) are practically incompetent and suck at human communication. Management needs to improve and better train its staff.

I went in and asked for the tool section. I needed to replace a tool my father had SOLD at a garage sale!I, also, had to find the ladies room in a hurry! I was kindly given directions to the bathroom and the power tools. I picked up the power tool, some drill bits, and some lightbulbs. À nice employee even walked me to the drills. I found everything I needed and ALL the employees were awesom!

Over the last 13 years living on Kauai, I've ordered many appliances through Home Depot. Sadly, there's little to no choice when it come vendors that sell appliances on island; Sears closed years ago, and Costco has limited appliance options. So, most who live on island are stuck with Home Depot. As for stock, HD never seems to have any appliances in stock, you're forced to place a "special order" with delivery ranging anywhere from 6 weeks to 8 weeks. Well, I'm writing this review due to my most recent experience. I ordered a washer/dryer on 1/29/22, due to post COVID stock supply, HD said it would take 2 months, I understood as most vendors were dealing with supply shortages, not a problem, I could wait 2-3 months. Come April, I had not heard from HD, so I called, they said my product was on its way and to be patient. Come June I called HD again, they said my product was on its way and to be patient. Come August I stopped into HD, they said my washer/dryer was lost and what I ordered was no longer available, so I had to reorder a new washer/dryer. Not once did HD apologize, they treated me as though I was bothering them - no one ever called no nothing, not even a discount for my troubles. Now, after 10 months, I get the call that my washer/dryer finally arrived. To top it off, HD outsources their delivery service (you are informed by HD that you must wait 6am to 8pm for your delivery - there is no window, you must wait 14 hours - you are held hostage and if you miss the delivery you own $75 or $80 to reschedule). So, 10/31/22 (yes, 10 months later) the outsourced delivery team just dropped off the washer/dryer and both men had poor attitudes (super grumpy), they stated that no one informed them they had to go up a flight of stairs (this information was provided to HD on 1/29/22 when placing the order – they noted 2nd floor) and then they grumbled as they did not want to stack the units and told me to do it. I’m a 5’2” woman – are you kidding me. They ended up stacking the units (whining the entire time). This entire experience warranted this review. Sadly, I’ve had to order a handful of HD appliances over the years, every purchase had its own unique “war story” however this experience was by far the worst. Everyone says it’s island living, I say NO, HD you need to do better and same with your contracted delivery service.

Our Home Depot store is our pretty much our go to store for most of our construction/project, garden and home needs. It's good to have most of what we need under one roof. We stop there probably 3 or 4 times a month. There have been times when we haven't found exactly what we needed and have had to look elsewhere, but for the most part we usually can find what we need. Sometimes if you can't find something, it may be hard to find store staff to help you, as their limited staff is usually always busy helping someone. Would have given one more star if they had more staff.

It sucks beacause the store has everything and is so convenient, but the workers there have very little knowledge of what they have and terrible at customer service or treating you like a person. I go to a Home Depot at least 3 times a week. And everything is good until I have to ask a question or deal with an employee. Need new management!!

This place always feels under staffed. I requested help with duplicating a key, waited in the hardware isle for 10 minutes but no one came to help, so I left. No employee here has ever taken initiative to ask if i need help. Although they don’t have the same selection, the service at Ace is much better.Update: customer services continues to be very poor. Additionally, many of the products are in poor condition and covered in dirt. This is what monopoly does—they feel no need to improve because they have no competition. Very disheartening.

I am an HD employee at another store. These reviews are all the same regardless of location. HD wants to hire 100,000 associates this year. Finding 100,000 people who want to work, show up, show up on time, is going to be tough. Its going to get worse ,before it gets better. I really like my job, but the absenteeism, and punctuality is lacking. I really think HD is a great company to work for ,and treats its employees fairly.

Bought spray paint YESTERDAY, it was clumpy, called to let them know, no one answered for 15 minutes. Went to the paint section, the guy couldn’t even lead me to the sand paper... which I had to purchase because I now have to fix my project, if I was the manager/worker, I would have offered to at least give me the sand paper for needing to buy it in the first and the inconvenience of driving back to the store and time I will need to sand the project. Horrible customer service. Got some good service the other day, but this one just trumps my experience yesterday
