Their new manager has really turned the place around, in the best way. He is so helpful and friendly, always offers to help carry big items out to the car. It is such a pleasant experience going in there now and they are normally fully stocked in everything.

Someone at Petco has used my credit card for a fraudulent order. I noticed a $51 charge on my credit card, disputed the charge and then had to cancel the card. I went online to my petco account and there are no authorized orders. I would like to cancel my account at Petco.

customer service is horrible. The last time I went in I priced matched a lot of my items to the prices from Petco's website. my internet in there is so slow so it took a while for me to do it at the register. the cashier told me it would be better if I screenshot everything next time while I'm scanning in the store so when I get to the register it would be faster. well, I've been doing that every time I've shopped except today. the man at the register "informed" me they don't accept screenshots for price matching. I guess each employee makes up their own rules.

I went in looking for Milkbones for my new rescue dog to help with his gum disease. I had used them for decades with my previous companion animals with fair to good results. When I could not find Milkbones I asked an employee to direct me to them. Well, let me tell you, I was quickly put right on the proper forms of treats that worked for dogs! I was given a short lesson on what to look for in effective dog bones! I walked out with 3 big bags of dog bones, doggie toothpaste, and toothbrush, and chew bones to assist with correcting my former pig dog/street dog's teeth problem! I can tell you this I might have been schooled on how to care for my dogs mouth but IT WAS WORTH IT! None of my previous companions teeth were corrected so quick! Thank you Petco!!

I was totally impressed by the personnel that helped me, they were truly great. Kind. Helpful. Some of the items I found online were not available in the store when I did my pick up, which caused some confusion, so that is why I left one star out ...but! I do like the products, prices and people. And the hours! So helpful.

Highly understaffed always. Cant find employees to help. Everything is marked up 50-100+% more than what is on your website. I know its Hawaii but the markup does not reflect the offset of shipping. I feel the store is taking advantage of the local community and the lack of options for pet supplies. The employees are great and do a great job but I am rarely able to find one because there are only one or two of them on staff to run the entire store most days I go there

A couple of your employees really helped me out and also gave me some good extra need-to-know info, that I really needed appreciate them telling me. Did you know they have assigned days where one of Kauai's local Vetenarian comes in and Petco helps you pay for a check up or what other problems that your pets our having a that moment in time. Great deals and the whole store has this awesome, energetic energy and atmosphere.

I purchased a harness online and picked up in store. It was one size too small so i looked online and saw they had the next size up available in store. So i went in to exchange. They charged me the 10% difference for in store purchase. I thought it should have been a direct exchange since it was the exact same price just 10% difference for ordering online and picking up in store.

Was surprised at the high level of customer service and engagement we got. Worker came by and was very helpful, offered us a coupon book for our new puppy. Cashier was engaging and friendly as well.

I love everything about your store. I often have questions about products and I can always find someone to help me. I had a hard time finding a scratching post that my son's cat would use. It took 3 times before we found one that worked. We kept all the tags, etc. on the product and had no problem returning and exchanging each time. Everyone there made it easy. I highly recommend Petco.

OMG. Be careful about pricing when shopping there. Looked online for flea medicine for my dog. Price was 68.00 for 6 mo. Supply. When i went to store i was charged 120.00 for 6 mo. Supply. Turns out there is online price and stores price. What a difference. Be sure to check out prices and make sure u ask for price match with online price so you don't get overcharged.

I went to Petco today to do two things one was to get medicine for my dogs hot spots and to set up an appointment for his pet care so I went to the Pet Care First try to make an appointment but the two girls wouldn't even get up or even assist me in making appointment they just sat there and kept pulling towels and folding it instead of coming outside and assisting me I finally went to the front and it was a very pleasant young lady who helped me even though she was the only one on the register kudos to the young lady in the front if you ever need assistance ask Summer She's a beautiful young lady with a great future as for the rest they all should be released and set back to school for appropriate manners towards customers

Never shopped at Petco since experiencing a bad situation with a former management employee....However that changed following a conversation with Brian, current manager at the Lihue branch...His knowledge and helpful service changed my mind and I have found shopping there so much nicer and enjoyable. Have bought many items since with his help and recommendations. My experience was most satisfying and enjoyable....Much thanks to Brian

I came in to shop for someone else pet cat. I've never had a cat so I didn't know what or where I should be looking exactly. I came in and was welcomed by Gavonni. I explained to him I needed help doing a shop. He was busy handling customer checkout but quickly got someone to help me. Big Mahalo to Robin for helping me with my whole list. He went above and beyond! If there was an item not on the shelf, he would double check their back stock for it. If the item was unavailable, he recommended great substitutions. He even offered to help me to the car. checking out was fast and smooth as well. Cashier (sorry I didn't get name. blonde girl) was very sweet & efficient. Overall, it was excellent customer service and I am very grateful for it!

I wanted to get a fish but the lady was so rude. She didn't even turn around to face me. I talked to her backside then she told me she wasn't going to sell me a fish for the size of my freshwater tank. Yet its ok for Petco to catch tropical fish, place them in dirty cloudy tanks and sell them. . Petco, please train your staff to provide customer service.

I had a pricing issue over an aquarium kit and Clara, the manager resolved it professionally in the middle of a cash register down situation due to bad weather. Alex helped me select fish for the tank. All the staff was friendly and pitching in to help each other.

Officially not my favorite store! Not due to the staff, entirely. But this corporation has done away with matching their prices online for items in store. So this establishment has become useless to me. I will now be buying all my expensive, overpriced, pet supply online, and at Costco. There is no point in going to this store, unless you want half dead fish, cats in 2"×2" boxes, rodents, or invasive reptiles that are probably going to end up in local waterways because none of the staff will care to inform you to not release these animals. Hey it's all about the sale at petco. They wouldn't care to give you the proper information you need to care for the animal. There's Google now! So let's see, I'm really not there to buy things because I'm friends with the staff. So, this store has lost its use for me. Just get your junk on amazon, you're going to have to pay for shipping anyways.

I bought 2 fish from this store, they lived for one day, and the next they died. Something was telling me not to buy a fish (I seen fishes in other tanks upside down/ not swimming) but I bought two anyways thinking i could probably save them from that fate. Well I couldn’t, they died and I was told to bring my fish and a sample of the water in. Did that, and they say I needed to put the sample of water separate from the fish. Essentially giving me the run arounds. Do NOT purchase fish from here.I’m pretty sure they were testing something out on the fish that were making them die. There was literally a whole tank of dead fish, not available to buy due to “testing” well, their testing costed the life of easily 30 fish. With the price of their fish you’d expect the fish to not be sick, but they are, almost all of them are.

I went in for a new food for my slightly over weight pupper and quickly became overwhelmed with the selection of food. I approached the associate Brian who was very enthusiastic about helping me pick out a good food for my dog, even though he was currently in the middle of something. I told him what I wanted and he walked me down the aisles pointing which dog food he recommended and their nutritional value. Brian was extremely helpful and is a model of what customer service should be. Thank you soo much for your help.

I love Petco Kauai. The store is clean and has a wonderful variety of products. I love the 25% discount when I order online & pick-up instore. Dog food can get expensive so the discount helps.
