Went to drop off some goods to the Thrift Store today to be told by an employee that they are only accepting goods on Thursday and Friday. Pointed out that the sign said Thursday and Saturday. He than asked if I had an appointment and I said "NO" your signage and your website did not say I needed an appointment. Is this how people get treated all the time. I had perfectly good almost new items and he would not even take the time to look at them. I don't even feel that a one star should be given to this employee. Whoever he may be. 12/16/2023.

A little hard to find but once we drove through the industrial looking parking area we found them. Small selection but still worth stopping. Fun little thrift shop. The staff was great as well.

Okay selection but I did find a cute skirt. Love the cause. There is another thrift store nearby that does not show up on google maps “Kathleen’s Thrift Store” that also has some quality items.

Went to their new location twice now and it has so much variety. The prices are reasonable and cheap for the products, especially the clothes. Some clothes are like brand new, the same goes for the shoes. I found some really nice boots there. Besides the good prices, the service is super helpful. The man that has helped ring up our items and assist us with getting certain items is super friendly/helpful. He looks like a local man. Overall, I really enjoy going here

I love this store! I go every weekend! There is always something new and the prices are great too! I especially love their holiday section upstairs. I can shop for holiday items all year long! I would like to thank those two wonderful people that work there( sorry I don't know names) for all there hard work!

I love that this supports the Kauai Humane Society, so it was our first Thrift Store visit.Don't forget to talk to the cats that are available for adoption from Kauai Humane.Don't forget to look upstairs! Upstairs is mostly holiday items (80% Christmas and 20% all them other holidays).I picked up some small things, like cat/dog harnesses made with Hawaiian print fabrics, and ... a 16" tall yellow Peep bunny plushie with a weighted bottom, which I have named Bo. (Bo Peep! I am so funny!)Bo was absolutely worth the $3 I paid, if nothing else, because she's the PERFECT size to lay against the bulkhead of the airplane and not get jabbed by the armrest. I think I actually slept on the airplane on the way home. My family also loved Bo, because she had a carry-on bag all to herself ... until the last day when all the extra stuff went in there with her!

Excellent and helpful staff...this place is filled with great buys. They have a dressing room to try on items on. I found amazing dresses for only $5.50...one is from Ann Taylor. My husband found awesome shorts and a Hawaiian shirt...plus all the proceeds go to the Kauai Humane Society.

There’s a lot of nice items there, a lot nicer then most thrift stores I’ve ever been in. However the prices on the items in that store is straight out ridiculous. I honestly can buy most of the items brand new for the prices that they are asking for. I went in there picked out two shirts, a dress and a shorts and the total ended up to be around $50! I sure hope those poor animals in the humane society are eating good and well taken care of if those people are out here charging an arm and a leg for used items. There shouldn’t be of any excuse as to why any animal gets put down when sent to the humane society with the amount of cash they’re bringing in at that rip off thrift store

So disappointed, the listing for the stores that they open at 10 a.m. We arrived at 11 a.m. opened the door and the staff became upset with us and told us they weren't open yet. When we came back, I was told all the shirts were $2 and then charged $4.50 at the counter. Brought one of my shirts home and it had a huge hole in it. Staff was extremely impolite. At one point in the back of the store the rack was falling down and I called out while holding onto the rack to see if any staff in the backroom could help. There were four people in the back room all talking. When I called out I heard them pause in their conversation then ignore me and continue talking. I continued to callnout for a couple minutes, until finally a patron of the store said very nicely " I can help you". We then pulled the rack back on to it's holder so that all of the shirts didn't fall off. Kind of felt like I should have left it all to fall to the floor. I was able to find a decent swimsuit and a couple collectibles. If you ignore the staff and avoid damaged clothing, you may actually get something decent, but don't expect any customer service at all.

In Lihue town so convenient. Prices are higher than normal but less junk to cull out when looking for great deals. I see they are expanding the shop this week so very excited that there will be a larger selection soon. When donating leave the trash out as they only accept lightly used which is why this is the best thrift store on Kaua`i. Only downside is clothing is sorted by color, not size, so you have to go through every rack to find your size. A bit annoying. Thank you Blooming Tails for this service.

This great thrift store has such awesome staff and bargain prices. They put out new inventory daily. Such an ethical and responsible way to shop - plus it helps animals - what more can you ask for?

Nice place to find clothes and other bargains. Store is a bit cramped, but full of great stuff. Sometimes staff is super nice, sometimes not. I don't go for the people, so not a problem. Just give them a smile, and be patient.

Great stuff! A little pricey, but its for a good cause. Its like a boutique shop with some unique items as well there is men, womens and children's clothing. Jewelry, bedding, linens, kitchen and home decor items. Check it out!

WAY OVER PRICED !The Manager at the Thrift Store thinks it is a Boutique , and prices items accordingly .Many lower income and elder folk use to shop at the Humane Society Thrift store . They can not afford it now .Please , be reminded everything is DONATED* on behalf of the Humane Society .I've lived on island more than 20 years full time . When someone as myself, who *always stopped by the thrift store when in Lihue, no longer stops by ..sales will fall big time.I will frequent the Salvation Army and Wilcox Hospital Thrift store from now on.and, WHY is The Humane Society NOT mentioned in the Sign ! Perhaps because you donate a fraction % ? I believe it is NOT a fully operated Humane Society store .I will write the Garden Isle Paper of the disappointment in the NEW BOUTIQUE calling itself a Thrift Store .

Best clothes on Kauai at great prices and every dime goes to the Humane Society. They have clothes for the whole family plus pet supplies, kitchen and home. Lots of art and even jewelry!

THE SHOP HAS TO STOP THINKING OF ITSELF AS A CHIC BOUTIQUE. EXCEPT FOR THE "BOUTIQUE CLOTHES" IN THE FRONT OF THE STORE, MOST OF THE OTHER ITEMS ARE OLD AND WORN, EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE PRICY. SOMEONE IS NOT FAMILIAR WITH YARD SALES AND THAT GOES FOR ALL THE THRIFT STORES ON THE ISLAND. THERE ARE BETTER DEALS ON CLEARANCE IN THE BIG STORES AND THE ITEMS ARE BRAND NEW!
