Very clean, well stocked, large selection. Produce, meats, frozen goods, canned goods, baby items, wine and alcohol and everything in between. I was pleasantly surprised at the vast selection for such a small town.Definitely not a 7-11!

A bit pricey, but then again, this is Lanai. I'm used to mainland prices. Everything is way cheaper in California.

This place has my favorite poké across the islands bar none - I always get their spicy ahi poké bowls whenever I visit. The store is the perfect size and they have plenty of things to get whether you're a local or visitor to Lāna'i. Highly recommend stopping by for lunch or a snack if you're on the island- Miguel Morales Photography

A lot of variety and good choice here - this well stocked little grocery has pretty much everything you need if you're staying on the island for a few days or longer. Prices weren't bad considering the nature of being remote. I'd shop here at home on the mainland if it were in my town.

Great selection of essentials, produce, frozen items, beer and wine, and lunch items. While we stayed on Lanai we picked up poke bowls each day from Richard's. Very reasonably priced for a decent-sized lunch! And there's new choices of poke each day.

The Supermarket in Lanai City. Maybe smaller than what you might be used to elsewhere, but has most things one would need. Considering that most items need to be shipped to the island, prices are quite reasonable. They have some prepared food for sale, Spam musubi, poke, sushi, bakery items. The poke is quite tasty, come is a variety of flavours and great for a packed lunch at the beach.

Richard’s Market was a surprising find on the small island of Lanai. They had everything you needed from baked goods to meats to produce and ice cream and everything in between. Prices were reasonably considering the size of the island.

Pretty nice considering how hard it is to get goods to Lanai. My hostess at the B&B feels it's superior to the Pukalani Superette on Maui, but sorry, doesn't hold a candle to it. For example, the Tako poke is Kim Chee style, yucch !!!, While the Puk Supe has Wonderful Tako Poke !!!

A particular assistant manager was very rude over the holidays. They closed at 6PM on either Christmas Eve or New Years Eve (can't remember), and people were still trying to make it in before they closed. With this being the only store left open on island, one of the employees was nice enough to let people in after they closed, however this assistant manager was running around rumbling saying "lock them out already!" With this being Lanai and everyone treating each other with Aloha, this person had no Aloha or holiday spirit and was extremely rude. I try to limit my shopping as much as possible there and purchase everything I can at either Pine Isle or Internationals.

Just went to store for a battery for my clock and a can of bug spray. Because of Covid they limited the number of people in store to shop, so a social distance line forms outside. This was a new experience for me since this was a day trip for me and I was not able to travel to Lanai for several months because of the State Quarantine policy.

Staying at the Four Seasons? Take the free shuttle to town, go here, save a ton of money!! Great food, wine, beer selection, island pricing but a steal compared to resort prices...and it’s a nice, modern store too.

The main supermarket/local store on the island. Prices are reasonable and service is friendly. You can get your cooked dinner here too for take away if you're lazy to cook or want something fast.

Fifty years ago in the summer of 1968, I spent 9 weeks picking pineapple for Dole Plantation in Lana’i. I lived just around the corner from Richard Tamashiro’s Market, which was a simple sundries store back then, nothing like the bright and inviting store it is today. Mr. Tamashiro was always there ready to talk story with my high school buddies and me, and would even occasionally give us free ice cream. I would buy Snickers bars by the box load to keep me going in the fields each day. I’ll never forget his generosity and that memorable summer in that beautiful town.
