Visiting the Polynesian Cultural Center was an incredible experience. The shows and exhibits were beautifully curated, offering a perfect blend of education and entertainment. I was especially impressed with the punctuality, organization, and efficient management throughout the center, making everything run smoothly. It's also fantastic how they support graduate students. Overall, it was a five-star experience that was both enriching and delightful. Highly recommend for an insightful and engaging day out!

This is a cultural center representing Hawaii. You can learn about Polynesian life and history, enhancing your understanding of Hawaiian culture. As it's conducted in English, language barriers might be felt, and planning your own route could be challenging, so I recommend opting for a guided tour. Most guides are BYU students, and they are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Since it's over an hour's drive from the many hotels and accommodations in Waikiki, if you have a short itinerary, you'll need to allocate a whole day. Parking is free, so if you've rented a car, driving is better than taking a shuttle. Taking the eastern route along Oahu offers scenic views, making the journey enjoyable.

Hands down, this has been the best experience thus far! Our tour guides Adelaide and Shannon were absolutely adorable, professional, and amazing. Our server Best during the Hale Aloha Luau was great. It's definitely a must! You will NOT regret it! Also, great vegetarian options as well. ZERO COMPLAINTS, ONE MILLION COMPLIMENTS!

Amazing palace to visit. A wealth of knowledge and all for a good cause to help college kids pay for school. The staff is great. The shows are amazing. The VIP package is well worth the money, and the tour guides tailor to what you want to see and do.

Wow! Highly recommend. I knew going in it was ran by LDS but it didn't really show at the center. The only mention is each performer thanks you for providing support for them to attend BYU. It is done very tasteful and not overpowering at all. We did the package with the islands, luau and show. It's pricey but totally worth it. We added transportation and Uncle Brandon was awesome giving us a narrative the whole way. Kudos to our group tour guide "Moi". This experience was the highlight of our trip to Oahu. No alcohol but you don't even miss it with the experience moving along not giving you time to think about.

Have been here before, and used the Go Oahu pass. There is lots of free parking, so thats nice. Each time a different experience here. We didn't have a full day, but we're able to do most things. It is truly beautiful inside. I wouldn't recommend going later than 2pm or you don't have enough time. There are lots of things to do for kids, teens and adults. Shows are educational and funny. Wish there was a mini hula dancing sample in the middle of the day for those who don't stay for the full big theater Ha Breath of Life show. Other than that you can fish, learn the ukulele, get a fake tattoo, go on a canoe ride or canoe yourself, you can learn to weave, and have food tasting among lots of other things. The marketplace has significantly over priced things and food, but there isn't much else around. We opted to drive to get pizza instead. The people inside are nice and very helpful. The facilities are clean and there are water fill stations.

This place is definitely a must visit when visiting Oahu! Closer to the north shore, but we had a tour bus drop us off and pick us up here. We were able to visit all 6 islands at the place, and watch a few shows while also learning about the history of each island, and the different cultures. It's a really fun and educational experience. We also did the luau buffet and saw the Breath of Life show. I would recommend both 100%! You are greeted with a yummy and delicious pineapple drink upon being seated at the luau, and the food was delicious!

It was one of the best days we had on our vacation!!! While the ticket prices may scare some people off, the tickets are good for 3 days!! So no need to do everything all in one day:) we did get the cheapest tickets just because we had our kids with us and we had been before and didn't need a guided tour or any extra stuff. You can upgrade your tickets later if you want:) - visiting all the islands was great! All the islands had shows, games and lots of fun activities to do! I was kind of worried my kids would get bored or tired, but they really loved everything and the interaction they got from the people. Everything was so clean, people were polite and kind, respectful and it was just a happy place! We will be back! The food trucks outside of the center are amazing!!! The Malasada donuts were so good along with the Korean BBQ food truck! You have to try them!:)

Ayaka, our tour guide, was fantastic. We were so lucky to be her final tour. In addition to her vast knowledge of the islands, she was kind, accommodating, and gracious. She went above and beyond for us all. Chan, our server, was absolutely wonderful as well and gave our 7 year old a cupcake for his birthday. The island demonstrations were amazing and we felt lucky to show our son part of his culture up close as we live in Texas. Thank you for the wonderfully put together tour, lu'au, and show (the storyline made us all emotional and was the most amazing show we have ever seen). We wished we could have stayed longer to see all that you have to offer. And thank you for supporting the BYU students!

Did you know there are 6 or more major regions that make Polynesia! Honolulu is the most populated (the largest Polynesian city) and so it made sense to host the global Polynesian cultural center here. With $90-100 ticket you can come here up to 3 days you can upgrade it to a ticket with w docent who will help you get early access and share in-depth stories and include luau too.We had 3 hours and we had a blast!! If you enjoy cultural dance music performances stories etc don’t miss this!

Tons to see and do here; a great deal of cultural displays and activities, broken up and presented by Island nations. The performers and activity guides are really committed to delivering an authentic experience. For anyone traveling from Honolulu, DON'T take a cab or Uber, or try and rely on the shuttle. Do yourself a favor and rent a car for the day. It's over an hour away from Waikiki Beach.

Such an incredible place to learn about the culture. Everyone was incredibly kind, and knowledgable. Specifically a lovely guide named Zion! She wasn’t our guide but she spotted my daughter and came to say hello. Spent her whole break walking around and talking with my 11 month old. So incredibly kind and caring! She made our day and showed how much the Polynesian Cultural Center emphasizes ohana.

The grounds are beautiful and our tour guide was so sweet the whole day! She is a local college student but originally from California and recently studied in Brazil. She was so nice and even offered to take our pics over and over. Such a good time. She asked us what activities we were most interested in and made sure we were able to do them.James at the Luau was amazing! He went above and beyond servicing us. I wish others got to experience his joy but I’m so happy we were able to! Such a sweet kind soul and made the luau worthwhile.

This is a theme park where the essentials of the Polynesian cultures are presented neatly in a nutshell. The tour guides are all students but they are well trained and very professional. They are super nice and friendly. The activities in the villages are all interactive. You participate in hula dancing, singing, weaving etc. To me the Samoan talk show was the best and so funny. The fire dances are the most exciting. The place is just full of good happy vibes. We purchased the luau tickets in advance and that gives a 10% discount, and includes admission for 3 days to the villages in the center. There's a hula performance presented along with the luau, and then you can go to the night show, which is also a top notch experience. All in all we enjoyed the center tremendously and it was very good value for money.

We loved our time here! We started with the canoe ride which gave us a great overview of the islands. The islands had fun and educational activities that kept us busy all day. We may have to come back another day to do it all! The luau and show were so much fun as well!! The smoothies at the luau were SO yummy! The service throughout the park was phenomenal and everyone was so nice!

This was my favorite thing we did on our trip. It was fun to learn about the different cultures and countries. We loved having our own tour guide, the boat ride, the luau and buffet dinner, and the Breathe of Life Fire Show. Your ticket gets you into the PCC to go see anything you may have missed in the villages for a second day. Wish we had an extra day to go back.

Shockingly awesome! Was not expecting a lot to be honest, just not my thing. But… it was amazing. Truly amazing.First let me point out it’s owned and operated by the LDS church, it darn if they aren’t the happiest people. Literally happier than Disney, everyone was smiling helpful, friendly, it was great. The buffet was good, very unique foods. The culturally stuff, was done in a way that really was interesting, they have each place separated, Fiji, New Zealand, Tonga, Samoa, Hawaii, just very fun place for kids even the teenagers seemed to enjoy it.The Ha breath of life show was long, but if you’re into dancing it was amazing, the fire stuff, the production value, overall on the same level as Disney.

An amazing place! We loved seeing it and learning about the different islands and cultures. The student-guides were fantastic! They have great personalities. They are eager to share their culture as well as those of the islands, and they benefit by the scholarships they receive as they work there. We spent 2 days there, one guided and one self-guided. The luau was fun and the food was great. We will go back someday! We highly recommend the PCC and the nearby temple grounds.

I wished I’d done some research on this place. It was expensive and what we got was in alignment with what we spent. We toured the grounds, saw some cool vegetation, watched a video about Hawaii (air conditioned theatre was a treat), had the luau, and watched the evening performance. I did not know this was a religious establishment and the history of the effects of colonization and white settlement was glossed over. It was theme park of Polynesian culture, and I wish we had gone to something ran by locals and we could have put some of our money in their pocket instead of a church.

Amazing quick peices of culture. Staff are students at local university and even though it's very scripted it's still nice to have a slice of home here. There is so much to do and tons of fun to be had. Tonga is def the most comedic and was a blast watching their show. Great for children and adults alike

We bought the guided tour, luau and the show. We were there from 12:30pm to 9:00pm. This was my husband and kids first time being here. I was eager for my children to take in their culture. You can talk about your Hawaiian roots but you want your kids to learn about their heritage. The tour guides are college students and they talk about their journey on how they came to the island. The shows were funny and educational. The luau was fun and the food was decent. It was a buffet and all you can eat. The entertainment was beautiful. I loved the show after the luau. It was breathtaking and I loved the story behind it. I totally recommend and children would love the show too.

The Polynesian culture center is amazing! A day of fun starting at 12 to 9! 6 different islands to visit and interact with. Enjoy a really Polynesian dinner and then sit back and enjoy a breath taking show. The fire dancers were jaw dropping!

Definitely worth the visit!! You won’t be disappointed. They have various islands created with the island specific activities, history, dance etc… Plenty of trees and shades throughout so even on a hot day, we mostly felt cool and comfortable. I recommend buying the ticket in advance to help you save time at the entrance. Our ticket came with 3 days entry, not sure if all tickets come with that option. They have electric scooters for renting - consider renting one if anyone in your group may find it difficult to walk the entire center. It will come in handy!!Pro Tip: plan on arriving as soon as they open to help you make the most of your time. And DO purchase their evening show - Hā - breath of life tickets!!! Absolutely amazing show, especially the last portion (fire stunts) are breathtaking!!

This is a nice cultural center with an excellent show. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. The Polynesian Cultural Center is a museum that celebrates Polynesian culture, and it educates visitors in an interactive setup similar to the countries at EPCOT in Disney World. The six main islands of Polynesia—Hawaii, Tonga, New Zealand, Fiji, Samoa, and Tahiti— each have their own miniature island with exhibits and shows about the culture of each island. At the Samoa island, I saw a Samoan dance and fire twirling, which was quite good. At the Tongan island, I saw a drum and dance show and traditional Tongan homes. There’s an artificial river running through the center, which I rode through on a bit with a guided tour. I also saw an authentic replica of a Polynesian ship, which was quite interesting. The cultural center also has a marketplace with food truck vendors, craft markets, and a gift shop, which is located next to the theater. The show here was impeccable, with traditional dances from each major Polynesian island and twirlers with fire batons. In addition to that, there’s a large buffet serving food here and the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame is here. I gave the Polynesian Cultural Center five stars because it has an amazing show and nice islands. Even though it felt like I was in Disney World, I still had a good time. Is it 100% authentic? I don’t know, but I still had fun.
