You can’t find this kind of Asian food at home! Nothing fancy, just excellent food! Order family style and share the dishes. Try items you’ve never had before. You won’t be disappointed! We ordered fried wontons, chicken fried rice, honey walnut shrimp, chicken chow mien, and minute chicken with cake noodles. The food came out quickly! Our bill was $36 for all of that food with leftovers. Friendly and helpful service. The locals eat here for a reason.

My husband and I had two excellent meals. The best part was how fresh and beautiful the vegetables were. It was a modest quantity, nicely prepared with subtle flavors. I had the Dr Schlachter's dish (a doctor in the same complex) which was tofu with mushrooms and vegetables. Great for somebody on a special diet that can't have heavy salt or soy sauce. My husband had beef with vegetables. Again, the vegetables were just beautiful and perfectly done. Server was very friendly and the food came promptly at lunch time. The white rice that came with it was nice and sticky. Prices may be other than what's listed on the menu so ask if not sure.Vegetarian options: The restaurant offered a number of vegetarian or vegan options. One was Dr Schlachter's dish (yes, it's on the menu). Great for healthful diet.

My wife worked here years ago and is obsessed with the food. Being from Utah, we only get this when we come into town, so the cravings are huge.Don’t get me wrong, this is a hole in the wall Chinese joint. The food though is great, the portions are large and the options are plenty. Our favorites are the crispy gaugee, mabu tofu, cake noodle with gravy, pork char sui, choy sum with garlic, Hong Kong shrimp and broccoli beef.

Should have read the reviews. THE worst Chinese food of ALL time. Ordered the crunchy chicken and it was crunchy because of all the bones that were cooked in. No flavor. Spring rolls full of oil. Wife had sweet and sour pork, could not even bite thru the pork. Threw most of it away. Should have gone to the burger joint next door. Visiting from the mainland.

It's got a nice family operated feel. Customers who are locals from the town would get each other. Really a cool place to watch how old-fashioned townspeople behave, reminds me of how things were back in the good old days where you said hello to everyone and struck up conversations with people to catch up with what they've been up to.

The best place to eat on the North shore if you are craving asian food. The most healthiest option on the whole island, in my opinion.

Good stuff and nice local/ family vibe. Service was quick and friendly, portions were big enough we had plenty left over for lunch the next day, too. I wasn't a huge fan of their wontons (just didn't like the thicker dough they used--personal preference though, because my daughter liked them). The broth in their soup was amazing, though, and the flavors of everything were delicious! If we were staying longer, we'd definitely go back!

I learned of this restaurant on line as it had good ratings. Well, being from the Los Angeles area, I've eaten at many good Chinese restaurants including some in the Chinatown district. I'm kind of fussy about pork foo young which is one of my favorite dishes. I'm staying in Laie, Hi and thought I would try this restaurant. I was greeted by a very friendly waitress who took my order. She was very helpful and got me all set up with my take out order of pork foo young. It came with an extra container of light gravy. Well, I must say that this was one of the best tasting dishes I've ever had and it was at a bargain price. They have a great menu and I most certainly will be back soon.

20 of us were celebrating an uncle's birthday and we had decided on Chinese food for dinner. We regularly eat there in group and enjoy the food and the great service.Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian dishes are on the menu.Parking: There is ample parking in this shopping center.Wheelchair accessibility: All required handicap parking stalls and ramps are available.

A bite of the spring rolls yielded a lot of cooking oil, they are also not filled with enough content with the sweet/sour sauce that is too red. Chicken sliced and piled on top of one another- no special taste and slightly tough. Noodles’ sauce was not enough so some parts are tasteless with the vegetables and chicken not evenly distributed, pale and unappetising. Broccoli with beef. Fried rice heaped together with ingredients- but didn’t seem to be cooked together long enough. If one wants Chinese food, this is not the place to go.

We ordered take out tonight, very disappointed with portions, very small. We ordered the cake noodles and there were only 8 small pieces, the egg fuyong was good but very small portion, chicken katsu was a very small portion too, and no sauce, only about 10 slices of charsu pork. We have ordered this before and the portions were bigger. Probably won't order take out like this again. The hot and sour soup was ok.

They have this one soup - wor won ton. So so good. We eat it whenever we are craving Chinese.Otherwise everything is sort of average. Lots of deep fried dishes. This is not the place to go if you want to lose weight but their serving are generous and the prices are ok.

Agreed, this is the all time worst, seriously, Chinese food I've ever eaten, I've had Chinese food from here to the east coast of the US. Not to be mean, the locals seem to like this place. I don't think they know how to cook real Chinese food. The food trucks all around this place make them look real bad!!!! As one person said and I hate Mc Donald's , it would be a better choice, I've always had a theory that if there's no line but the places next door have a line, then there's a good reason

I didn't even want to give it one star, prefer negative stars. Ordered Mongolian beef, it 1. was more like spicey sweet beef. It had 5 teeny about size of my thumb beef pieces. It was served a a child sized plate. $9....really..at best should charge more than MAYBE 4.99.........Crispy Gau Gee, all noodles...2 shrimp 1 piece of chicken I think it was chicken....it was flavorless....Beef Chow fun...no flavor at all....again teeny amount of beef....totally flavorless.....Katsu chicken...go home throw some flour in da grease and eat it..all breading, no chicken. I would rate them a -5.....service?? havent seen our waitress since dropped off. a rock has more personality. Yup....true story..whats worse I'm not even picky eater....🤢🤮🤢

Hands down worst Chinese I've ever eaten. All 12 in my party agreed. Portions were small and inconsistent from dish to dish. I've never had tough chicken before...this was a first. The Chow Mein was like overcooked gelatinous vegetables turned to soup. I could keep writing...but you get the picture.

I like Laie Cop Suey for a quick decent local style Chinese meal. They rarely disappoint me. I love their roast duck, crispy gau chee and chow fun. Call for take-out. They are fast and good.

Beef that doesn't look like beef. You probably already ate in a place like that and told yourself : never again. The food was not very good. If you really don't have a choice, it's edible, but you sould consider another restaurant in the mall.

The fired rice wasn't fried, it was steamed rice. The barbecue pork wasn't as sweet and tender as it should. Don't waste your money there.

This food was straight trash. Needless to say we left this place and went to McDonalds to eat better tasting chicken. Enough said.
