This place fulfills so many needs for travelers staying close by. We bought sunscreen products, medicine, beer/wine, snacks and even souvenirs on multiple trips there. The staff were the friendliest of all establishments we went to on the island. They were all very helpful as well. It would be nice if their hours were longer, but still a great local place when staying close by.

My daughter has asthma and we are from out of town. They refused to fill the medication as soon as possible. They stated if I went to the urgent care that is down the street for them they could fill it within 15 minutes but she couldn't call and get it transferred from our existing pharmacywithin 24 hours. It's disappointing that Pharmacy who is dispensing life-saving medication can't even call a pharmacy and transfer in a prescription for an inhaler for a child who has asthma. I've worked for OptumRx and I personally called other pharmacies to get prescriptions transferred in and approved by a pharmacist within 20 minutes for patients who needed medication as soon as possible. This pharmacy is unethical at best.

We are from Iowa, visiting Kauai. It has always been so nice to have CVS just down the street. We always have our med refills close at hand and the store is well stocked with everything thing one could need

1 HOUR WAIT to even speak to someone. Although RX had been called in 2 days Prior I was told it would take her 2 hours to fill. Although she was nice & regretted having to tell me about the 2 hour wait she was frustrated that they were swamped & always swamped. This ALWAYS HAPPENS! ALWAYS an Hour Wait & then ALWAYS A DELAY ON PICKUP. THIS LOCATION (THE ONLY ONE ON THE SOUTH SHORE BTW) SERVICES (2) COMMUNITIES. THE LOCALS & THE TOURISTS. AS THIS IS A YEAR ROUND DESTINATION IT WILL ALWAYS BE SWAMPED IF THEY DON’T GET MORE RX HELPERS. CHEAPSKATES is what it boils down to.

Super helpful staff. Lots of odds and ends. Just went once for after sun aloe gel and waterproof fingertip bandages. Ended up going back 2 more times for small things like a couple cold beers and snacks. Happy they were part of the CVS family.

Very friendly staffs who usually greet customers at the entrance. Pharmacy staffs are very kind too. However, this store has more items for tourists and less sale items.

how can they charge $142.99 for a vial of insulin when $35 is the federal cap. Im sure there is a way you can do it legally but there is no excuse and you cannot justify it morally. You should be ashamed of yourselves

A big Mahalo to Mae and the crew in Koloa. Shopping here for more than a year. The store always looks good and the crew greets everyone with a good morning. Don't normally return items, but when I did today with Mae it was easy. Well done!

Stopped in just to look around. Saw a sale label for a make up foundation that just said the brand and 75% off. Got the foundation as it’s one of my favorites to have it ring up regular price. So I asked the manager and she said “ oh you have to match the item number to the one on the tag” not all are on sale. So the manager went to the aisle and she couldn’t figureout which one was on sale unless she used her barcode scanner. So I asked how am I supposed to know which one is on sale when I don’t have a barcode scanner. Manager got really rude and said there’s nothing she can do, you want the color on sale? Um, no I want to be able to know which one is on sale without getting the sales associate and the manager involved with 20 minutes of haggling. Manager was straight up rude! The sales associate apologized but they didn’t even offer to mention the confusion to the boss or corporate!

I recommend shopping at this location the staff is super amazing from the front door, stocking associates, pharmacy to check out. They go beyond with their customer service and Aloha spirit!!! Shop here often and the experience is consistent!!!

Visited while travelling and have never encountered such uncaring, rude or abrupt pharmacists and expecting people to wait half an hour or more for a prescription when they are really unwell. So glad our pharmacist at home is not like this. Politeness costs nothing.

Everything you need. It's like a Walgreens, but with tourist focused items as well: bottled water, sunscreen, insect repellent, hard alcohol, mixers, beer, souvenirs and snacks for the beach. They even had fresh fruit near the register.

The pharmacy here is awful. They bought and closed down the lifeway pharmacy and now we're all stuck with them on the Southside of Kauai. Takes forever to get a prescription filled. The people working here don't have any customer service and don't seem to know anything about medications. I've had 7 refills here and each time I'm waiting over an hour even after calling to make sure its ready.

Pharmacy is terrible. Be ready for long waits. I called in an Rx refill, they said will be ready by 2PM. I came to pick it up at 4PM and the hadn’t even started on it! Avoid if you can!

I was at lifeway in Koloa...have had nothing but problem after problems at this pharmacy...Changing pharmacy's asap...Now have been on hold for over 15 minutes..and you wait through the line to find out they don't have your prescription..was in there over week ago asked them to fax my Dr for refills..that never happened..called the Dr office..they never heard from them now a week and a half without my meds..and they don't answer the phone to find out if they even have them now...Don't want to waste another trip to Longs for nothing..This is no way to operate your pharmacy...Get more help...

Pharmacists are slow, its quicker to drive to Lihue longs and much nicer store. Can't wait til another chain comes to Kauai.
