This is one of my favorite spots in North Shore Kauai. It's in the Kong Lung shopping center in Kilauea near a bunch of boutique shops and restaurants. They have a bunch of outdoor seating and I love the cute atmosphere. I went with a group of 5 ladies and we all liked our sandwiches and pizza. They also have a bunch of baked goods like muffins and malasadas. I like that there's a water station but also a lot of drink options. My salad was also super fresh and yummy. This is a great place to go for delicious food in a casual, outside area. There's also shaded seating available.Vegetarian options: They have quite a few vegetarian options including pizza, sandwiches, soups, and salads.Dietary restrictions: My friend is gluten-free and was glad they had gluten-free pizza crusts. She also can't do dairy and they had house-made vegan cheese.

We had pizza by the slide and it was delicious! The people behind the counter were super nice, hospitable and awesome! This is a nice little spot after visiting the Kilauea lighthouse. They have quite a few options on the menu and again I say - the people behind the counter were AWESOME!!!Downside - Carried away by the slices of pizza we tasted, we ordered pizzas to go. We did it 2 times on back to back days. One for a vegetarian pizza, and one cheese pizza to go - terrible choice. They were devoid of flavor, taste and was gross. Even the muffins we got were not all that great. Even eating out of the box right at the location was not a great experience. Definitely, some issue there because regardless of whether you waited 30 min to eat or didn't wait, the pizzas to-go were plain disgusting! Not sure why there is a big difference between pizza by the slice and buying a whole box of pizza. I hope they can improve.

Fantastic baked goods with a covered dining area, with books to borrow! The chocolate croissant is very chocolatey per my kid. Coffee was good too. Great stop en route to Hanalei.Vegetarian options: Baked goods are almost all vegetarian.Parking: Parking lot nearby but can be busy.Kid-friendliness: What's not for kids to love: pastries, cookies, and muffins.

I didn’t even know about this treasure until I drove past it (downwind) and then stopped the car, as it was early in the morning and I was craving a coffee and breakfast. Sure enough, my nostrils and google led me to a little hidden courtyard that was abuzz with loyal patrons. All I can say is that it’s truly AMAZING in every way! I had the best coffee and quiche ever,…. and pls don’t tell my dietician that the sticky bun with macadamia nuts nearly made me faint with joy! God must come here on Sunday mornings, I’m sure of it! LOL! (It was too early in the day for their pizzas, but I’d bet they’re over the moon!)

This place was pretty good, we enjoyed the bagels and the vegan cakes were really good! The gluten free cake was a little dense and tasted like a biscuit, not my favorite. Update: thank you for the response! If it was meant to be a biscuit cake then I guess it fulfilled its purpose, changed my review to add a star :)

Great bakery with good selection and taste. Loved the coconut macrons, bread and the coffee. They have vegan options as well.Nice small book shelf outside which was cute as well. We did not try pizza but could see many taking and enjoying it.Parking is common and plenty.

Unexpected treasure of a bakery and pizzeria in Kilauea! We came a few years ago and it was good, but has only gotten better since. Came at least 3 different times this time and while the line can be long / wait can be long, you'll understand why and remember you are on Hawaiian time. Cakes by the slice and daily pastries were top notch, but hands down best find was the breakfast stromboli 🤤. Didn’t realize that they are sold in halves, and ordered 2 wholes getting the last ones they had, to a collective sigh of the line behind us (sorry folks!). We ate on those for several meals and I’m still dreaming about that stromboli. Go early before the best items are gone!

We were overall pretty disappointed, the pizza was adequate and priced well for remote location. But it was far from good. However, we did try some baked good and some of those were pretty tasty. Overall not a bad place for slice, but I would prioritize other spots first if you have option.

Pretty great pizza and Caprese sandwich. Bean soup also tasty. We enjoyed it. Great atmosphere. Sitting outside next to shops, treats, and other restaurants.

Great pizza and bakery joint. We wanted to experience a "Hawaiian Pizza" which actually originated in Canada. Their pizza is called the Island Stylin, and it features pineapple and delicious sausage. I highly recommend them. I didn't try their pastries, but the pizza was delicious. They also have beautiful wood tables, books, and lots of nice decor including an outdoor sink!

After going to the Hanalei Spirits distillery and speaking with the owners wife, she recommended that I eat here because I have Celiac disease. My husband and I ordered the gluten free desserts, matcha mochi ($3.25,) guava macaroon ($3.25) & cassava custard pie ($4.50.) All were delicious and didn't taste gluten free (most gluten free bakeries' desserts are gross.)We also ordered a medium gluten free cheese pizza made with breadfruit / 'ulu. ($21.50.) It really does taste like bread! I regret eating half the pizza because I feel extremely full (no need for dinner!) My husband ate the other half.My husband ordered the lilikoi lemon bar and an ube cheesecake, which aren't gluten free, for him to take back home to eat later.Waters were free, serve yourself parmesan and red pepper flakes. Seating is all outdoors.Overall, this was an actually affordable in Kaua'i and if you're gluten free, check them out.Visited: January 2023

Here’s a quaint little pizzeria… well it’s also a bakery. If you’re visiting the light house, this shopping center is at the end of the road when you leave. They sell whole pies, made to order, or pizza by the slice. The pizza was very filling and tasty. Ingredients were fresh and crust was good. Good little place near the Princeville north area and situated in Kilauea.

Tucked away in the courtyard of a small marketplace, this hidden gem offers spacious dining with tables next to bookshelves that invite you to browse while enjoying pizza or pastries. We went when it was busy, and my daughter didn’t want to wait 30 minutes for a pizza, so we opted to take some desserts home with us.As a dessert fiend, I loved the unique tropical offerings: cassava custard pie, coconut cream chocolate eclair, ube cheesecake, lilikoi lemon bar, and more.I picked up a dark chocolate guava macaroon, which was fantastically moist with just a hint of guava. Haven’t tried the coconut dark chocolate rum ball yet - will have that for breakfast. My favorite foodie find on Kauai so far.

Ordered a couple breakfast sausage strombolis and an Ube Krinkle to-go for our airport run.Sat 7am - minimal people out for breakfast, plenty of parking.Fast service as we ordered what we could see in the heated rotation box and the bread & pastries display. Nice looking quiches available, along with many gluten free items. All the bread products looked super fresh and ready to be inhaled, but we decided on egg-filled strombolis.Wall display had nuts and prepackaged snacks along with water bottles for sale. A water dispenser on the way out of the shop.Plenty of bench seating in front of the shop. Friendly. Looks like a great place to hang out for lunch or dinner as well.Store accepts credit card.- - -Food review:Sausage Stromboli - both were surrounded with chewy pizza dough as well as very lightly salted scrambled eggs and ground sausage. Very filling!Ube Krinkle - this one was a tad confusing. Crunchy light sugary topping like a Dutch crunch bread roll. Actual item was similar to a scone and muffin top, but without much flavor. Gorgeous dark purple color though.

This is a fun little bakery with outside sitting nestled in a historic area between other small shops. The pastries and bagels tasted fresh. We visited in the middle of the week so it wasn’t too busy, but according to the locals it gets busy quick. The selection of the menu offers a decent selection of items for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Cute little bakery nestled into the small town of Kilauea. I stumbled upon this place completely by accident while doing a little shopping, and I’m happy I did. The menu is vast and could leave you trying things for days on end. I went with the malasada which was excellent and a banana macadamia muffin which was just okay. None the less I would have loved to try more here and you’re bound to find something tasty stopping in.

Came here for breakfast and it did not disappoint, very delicious food! We got a handful of items including a vegetarian stromboli, cinnamon bun, dark chocolate rum ball, spinach feta and tomato turnover and the macadamia nut sticky bun that they recommended is their top seller.Everything was extremely tasty, the stromboli was massive! Seating outside was easy and accommodating with a handwashing station right in front of the resturant! Delicious!

We had the pizza and it was good but not the best we ever had. The pepperoni was much better than the Pomodoro. Pomodoro needed more goat cheese, if you asked for extra goat cheese it would set it off🤙🏽. The service was friendly and fast.

Very rude to tourists. We’ve been coming to the island for years and always found the locals and businesses very friendly and appreciative of the tourists but not this place. We’ve been 3 times now and it is very evident that they don’t want our business. Tonight, my wife was patiently waiting her turn to order. A local walked in behind her and started talking to the people behind the counter who she apparently knew. The local then proceeded to order and was served right away. This wasent our first bad experience here. Other times were similar. We were served but but the staff seemed very annoyed with us. If you’re just visiting find someplace else to spend your money. This place doesn’t seem to need or want your business.

I was so excited to try this Beautiful restaurant. It has nice seating and excellent customer service. However our order wasn’t that great. We got pesto pizza and slice of apple pie and chocolate coconut slice. The dessert was horrible and the pizza was so average, tasted like 7-eleven frozen pizza. We hardly tasted any pesto and the crust was okhay. Maybe we will try other things next time if there’s no other option.
