This location has very good coffee/cold brew/ tea selections. They have dairy free options. We tried the ube cookie it was delicious, the smoked ahi toast. It's a cute Cafe with wifi plenty of parking. It also has a drive thru. Indoor and outdoor seating. Vegetarian options. Friendly staff take cash and card.Dietary restrictions: Dairy free options

The best coffee on the big island! Everyday of our trip to Kona started with a coffee from HiCo :) we miss it so much! So take full advantage of it while you can! Great vibes, great people, such a cute aesthetic, and amazing coffee!

A little on the expensive side for coffee and bagels, but everything was delicious, so cannot complain! We went through the drive through, the staff was friendly, and food preparation was quick. Ordered and loved the feta and spinach bagel, my partner had the bacon and cheese bagel, and we split the caramel froshaka (which was a very tasty frappe). Each item was more than $10. Menu is available online and at the kiosk. There is very little parking around the shack and only one or two picnic tables. Enjoyed this stop very much! Entered cafe and cashier and barista did not acknowledge us, continued on with their conversation while looking at us several times like we were interrupting them. Ordered a Ube Latte with milk alternative 12oz and one 16oz. Overall latte was alright, nothing special. Could barely taste the Ube and not to mention it was expensive. Not going back, perhaps the other location is much better. Only good things are interior and the drink looks pretty.

The ube latte was disappointing as you could barely taste the ube even when mixed. But the customer service was even more disappointing. We entered the cafe and the two young workers immediately looked at us and continued their conversation with no greeting or acknowledgment. Then, when ready to order and standing at the cash, they were still taking for a few minutes, and finally got around to us when they were done. Then, when picking up my drink when it waa ready, one worker said my name and the other repeated it in an almost mocking way, and they were both laughing amongst themeselves. This made me uncomfortable. Perhaps the original location is better but this was very disappointing.

Love coming here, favorite place to chill out and draw for hours. They’re always playing good music, and the atmosphere is always inviting.Aj and Shaena are my favorite baristas! Aj makes the best cortados and Shaenas hot chocolates are my fav. The entire staff are sweet and friendly.I’ve especially been loving the events they’ve been hosting recently! Highly recommend asking when the next one is(they’re always posting new drinks/events on Instagram if you follow)

Honestly this place is awesome! The vibes are super cute and chill, and it's an amazing rest stop if you're on the way to the national park. Super clean and a unique menu that isn't super over priced. My sister got a hot ube latte and I got a monthly special iced latte with palm sugar,coconut milk,and pandan! Must visit😁 and the bathroom is CLEAN!!

It’s always a treat to stop at HiCo! The food is delicious (try the oversized musubi!) and I’ve never been disappointed by a special. Their ube cold foam is the perfect texture and flavor. Seating can be a little limited and it takes a minute to get your order, but neither should be a deterrent. Just plan on slowing down and enjoying your drink and food. It’s so worth it.

I just spent a week in Kona and sampled many of the local coffee shops, HiCO is by far the best in the area! If you are looking for quality 'third-wave' coffee this is the place to go. The quality and attention to detail were world class. I loved the ube options and the special cold brew was one of the best I have ever had.The staff were friendly.The food was very good (came back multiple times for the spicy crab musibi).They also have great, well designed merch if you are looking for a Kona souvenir that isn't from ABC.

Not only were these some of the nicest people we interacted with in all of Hawaii, but the food was excellent.Coffee: Ube Sweet Cream Cold Brew is light on the sweet, good for someone who doesn’t want dessert coffee. But the Ube White Mocha Cold Brew is the shining star for me.Food: The bagels here are really hearty, but if you want something a little sweeter, the Chia Pudding cup was fantastic.Other: Some of the coolest tshirt designs I’ve seen at any store.

The iced ube latte was delicious, although could have had more ube. The cappuccino was very bad. Not foamed properly and so much milk that the espresso couldn’t come through.
