Don't overlook this salon just because they're Petco! The groomers here are seriously all so kind! I love the haircuts my dog receives and my other dog gets the deshed plus package and it really helps cut down on shedding. Also the location is very convenient and makes it easy to run other errands in town

The first time I brought my dog there, my groomer said that my dog may have hematoma on her ear so recommended I bring her to the vet. I brought her to the vet only to have them tell me that it was just a scab. I ended up paying the vet fees for that which was $70 for the check up. On Saturday I brought Kailea to the groomer and the groomer said it would take 3-4 hours and she would call me 30 min prior to her being finished. 4 hours went by and I still didn’t get a call so I decided to go and check up on my dog and she was trembling when i dropped her off. When I got there. I waited for someone to help me. They said that my dog was not yet ready. And. It would be another 45 minutes. They said my groomer had an emergency so had to leave and will have the next groomer work on her. The lady I was talking to said she brought her dog in a few hours ago and her dog was all finished. What I would have appreciated was a simple phone call to let me know as i was waiting for over 4 hours for her and they probably would have not worked on my dog had i not asked for her. I understand it was an emergency but again what is a one minute courtesy call. Totally unprofessional! Not happy with petco at the moment.

It feels like this place takes most pride in creative ways to deny service.When we started here I watched in disbelief as a couple of dogs got rejected as clients for what I would call minor signs of nervousness.Having made it past the first hurdle I thought we were in the clear. Unfortunately, no. After many succesful appointments and despite waiting weeks for an appointment we were rejected this time. Reason? Matting in a couple places. 🙄

Petco Kahului has a nice staff and everyone in the store is friendly. Our pups love coming to Petco. We always have Judy trim our dogs nails and will have our sweet rescue dog groomed. Judy is gentle and you can tell she loves dogs. I can’t say enough good things about Judy!

This place is the best. Seriously, they will help with any question and are very knowledgeable. The staff helped me pinpoint what food allergies my dog may have. The grooming department gave me great advice and returned my call promptly. We are lucky to have a store that goes above and beyond.

Thier care for animals is more gentle & genuine than any groomer ive known thus far. They really take the time to give dogs AND cats scented baths & teeth fresheners, & you can pick what nail polish color you preffer for them or what hair cut style, whereas a veterinary office usually just teims the nails or shaves off the bulk of a pets hair for those fur babies who are too reactive to be serviced @ public places around so many other people or dogs like petco.

Great location; easy to access with lots of product! Very friendly staff. Casey helped me tonight after I adopted my first dog and she was phenomenal. She was more than willing to help me make sure I was getting the correct sizes and was happy. We talked story and I left feeling excited instead of nervous. Thanks, girl! :)

I love the store, always clean and employees are always nice. I do have to do price adjustments for a lot of items because the items in store are priced a bit higher than on-line. But, I can't make an order online and have it delivered because I live in Hawaii and they charge a surcharge to ship here. Way too expensive.

I bought a Guinea Pig that developed a skin rash. The manager Casey was so awesome to deal with. She assured my daughter they would have her treated and return her and said my daughter could even call and check on her during treatment. This kind of care and concern for people is rare these days. Aloha is alive at Petco!

The people here are so helpful and knowledgeable! I love their commitment to higher food standards. One time I grabbed a package of dog treats that appeared healthy and it wouldn’t scan and the girl apologized and said she was sorry but this product is no longer up to Petco standards and we are removing it from the shelves as we speak. I just happened to get a random bag that a customer had stashed in the wrong place. Made me feel that much more confident about shopping there!

Korie was very patient with our older dog and she explained everything very clearly. I was concerned about her not doing certain treatments but she had alternatives that were satisfying and really kept our dog calm. He sat nicely all the way home.

My two dogs a standard poodle and Blue Heeler. had their first appointment today with Angelika, she was really sweet and did an amazing job. We live deep in the jungle and these dogs get super dirty, they both came out smelling amazing and looking great. The prices here were really reasonable, and the location is super convenient for doing errands in town.

Staff was extremely helpful and patient in these difficult times. Someone was always near by for auctions for this new cat dad. Store was well stocked and had lots of variety. I used the order online and pickup at the store feature to save some money before this vist. Which was a breeze to pickup on my way out.

The workers @ the grooming section are friendly and always do a good job trimming my nieces dog's nails. But they do need to have a better phone system in place so it's easier for customers to make appointments. It usually takes several calls to get someone to answer.

Nice and clean pet store with friendly staff. Prices are a really high compared to same brands offered at Target. The treats we buy were more than double the cost. They have puppy playtime on the weekends which is really nice for the dogs to socialize.

I have been shopping at the Maui Petco for years. They always have the products I buy available, you always have someone saying Hi! or Aloha! to you when you walk in. The store is clean and busy! The staff are wonderful. Oh, and then there are the Petco awards...who doesn't want to have a few bucks knocked off their bill? Keep it going Petco! A very Happy Customer!
