Ace is the place. They have everything you need. The only thing is their prices are higher then lowes and home depo. One thing is for sure. Every time I need something and not looking for a better price I go to ACE. All the employees in all the ACE stores I've been to have excellent customer service and they know where everything is in the store. Not one time I was directed to an isle for what I needed and didn't find it. They are awsome.

Went in there to look for some boxes and the ladies in front by the door didn't even say hi and they were looking at us like we were going to take something. And when we asked them if that was the only boxes they were really rude. I wouldn't go there again.

Massively overpriced for the same products that you can get literally 30% cheaper at Lowes or Home Depot 5 minutes down the road. They wont even price match their own online prices for other Ace locations in Maui.

Went in for a few nuts and bolts for a mower fix and Chris(I think) stepped up in a huge way. He was patient(due to my ignorance in anything hardware) but more importantly he actually offered to take time from his busy day to take a look at the project my neighbor and I were getting into. He lended a helping hand, his knowledge and the tools and did the job in the parking lot with us.. Forever grateful to witness the true pono and aloha spirit, many mahalos to Chris and his staff! 🤙🙏🙌

I went to Maui Lani ace. Chris the screen dude took me right away. He understood how screen-dumb I was, helped me pick out roller wheels for my rolling screen door for my sliding glass door, helped me install them!!! He totally saved me. Talk about personalized service! You’re not going to find this service at depot or Lowe’s! I hope ace is paying Chris, because he is the ideal employee to represent

Ace Marmac has an outstanding selection of quality products, without all the extra "junk" brands they have at the big box stores. I have purchased everything from small self starting screws to window screen parts to our big fancy grill (best price AND service!) and have never once been unable to find what I was looking for. I am constantly amazed at all the goodies they have inside, and the customer service is beyond compare.

Staff is very friendly , helpful and they know where all the items are placed throughout the storeI used to shop there at least three days a week .Being a small engine repair technician I usually go there for oil , mufflers and filters but now it's cheaper to drive to Home Depot or lowes.If prices were slightly lower I would keep shopping at ace but until then it's HD or Lowes

I usually get good and friendly service here but on my most recent visit, as soon as I told the associate that I worked at a competing ace. He said he avoided my store like the plaque because we don't carry one 10th of what he's looking for. Yet, I was looking for tension rods...they had 2. Same style 2 different lengths. He suggested maybe a dowel rod, then disappeared to the next aisle and called for his lunch. My store carries 20 different tension rods and i would never abandon someone like that

Need something? From start to finish Ace has it all but unlike other hardware stores the people are very friendly and will come to you to see if you need help finding anything and always know the right product for the job. Locally run Ace has been my choice from childhood days of odds and ends projects to current whole home and yard design. Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folk.

I stopped in to get some wall repair items and was able to find everything I needed in this one stop hardware shop, that's part of a corporation that are currently celebrating 49 years in business on Maui, with the initial location on Alamaha Street. I strongly recommend using these two locations for your quick in and out requirements.

They close at six. I rush to get there at 5:55. When I show up at 555 they’re closed and having a meeting that apparently was so important that it couldn’t wait until six. And it’s not the first time this is happened extremely poor management to say the least.

This is a nice place close to home..has what you need for around the house job's and also offers key cutting and window screen repair...they have a good selection of yeti coolers and ramblers...also have a nice table that has really cheap priced tools for those jobs that you do only once.. friendly staff and they have free popcorn

They had most of what I needed. Their cashiers are back to normal mode of processing Ace issued discount cards and senior discounts, thank goodness. Before Christmas they were claiming that EVERYTHING you might want to buy was "on sale" or "already at the low every price that isn't eligible for any discount". Of course what ever you were trying to buy actually WASN'T on sale (not marked as being on sale & priced according) and please define what a "every day low price" is. To receive a valid discount you had to insist on a store manager to personally approve it, after argueing with the cashier with a line of customers behind you. This was just a way to maximise their pre-christmas profitability. Nice way to build customer loyalty, or do you think you have a captive costumer base!

Not bad little hardware store and unlike the bigger options, the staff here is very friendly and helpful. But this place is also much more expensive than both Home Depot and Lowe's.
