After many, many, many, good experiences at this store, I was dismayed at what happened to us recently. We arrived at the store, curbside pickup, just before 8:30 pm. We realized it was a bit late but we had just landed and it was convenient to p/up our purchases on the way home as we live upcountry. I used the app to inform the store we were on our way and when we arrived I provided the stall number. After waiting for 15 minutes, no one came, so I went into the store. Only to find out, from an employee with poor attitude, that the pick up desk was "unmanned" as no one had showed up for work that night. It was a "too bad, so sad" moment. She called a supervisor to talk to me and she too had a rather unprofessional attitude toward the whole situation. Not something I had EVER experienced at this store, during the day. Well she, or rather, someone else, found a bag with part of my order. The items were filthy dirty, covered with dirt. Her comment to me was " what do you expect, these items our outside, you can clean them off with water". At that point I left the items, went back to my truck and canceled the whole order.I am still seething from the whole experience. No one, I mean NO ONE, especially a customer, needs to be treated like that.The night shift either needs to be re-trained or at least talked to.In the end, I got all my items from HD, they were clean.

Absolutely the worst place to buy appliances. I purchased a fridge on-line. They delivered a damaged one with a dent. We refused to accept it. I needed to get an another fridge. I started to call from 11 am. Now it is 8pm. The appliance department didn't bother to answer the phone even once. I contacted the customer service and asked for a manager. Same result, no answer from the manager as well. The staff has no respect for the customers. They also do not care about making a sale. I hope that someone from a head office will see this review. The worst customer service on this planet. Don't waste your time to deal with these people.

I went thru self checkout and this checker grabbed my cc out of my hand without asking. After I asked for scan not chip mode.I said “don’t grab my cc next time “she said”yayaya” in front of other customers and no apology.I said again don’t talk to customers like that she said “yayaya”I’m a contractor spending thousands and she treats customers like trash.She should be fired. Not sure why she has so many pins on her vest but I won’t be back.Extremely poor service and rude employee!.I

The place is huge but the employees were helpful in assisting me find the the things I needed. The app was also helpful because it assisted me in making sure they had the items I needed. I wish their app let me use a debit/credit card instead of PayPal. I ended up using cash. No cashiers, it's self checkout while people hover near you.

EDIT: Ella in the Returns section needs a raise and a promotion. This one star is specifically for her. The store itself and the manger still get a fat 0.I bought a refrigerator- payed for it and pull up to pick it up and they didn’t have the color I payed for, so I settled for another color- minor inconvenience.Then I finally get a plumber to install my water line for my ice maker and I WAS GIVEN THE WRONG ICE MAKER.(I had payed for the correct one apparently)Came to returns- did not have my receipt (stupidly lost it) but had all my information from buying the items and the item itself. The manager said she couldn’t return my item because it’s not the item I purchased??? That was the entire reason I came to return it- because I was given the wrong item.I was finally assisted by Ella- who I felt was the only person who understood what was happening and was trying to help me while the manager just kept repeating the rules and procedures. Ella helped deescalate the situation and was extremely professional and helpful.This lowes seriously needs improvements.

Lowes has horrible customer service.We got a brand new Samsung induction range and in the 1st day of trying to use it. It burned out. TRying to call lowes to get customer service has been a horrific experience. They force you to deal with an automated voice system that takes you around and around in circular questions and then hangs up on you.I don't recommend using Lowe's at all based on this experience.And once again..the number provided by lowes is an automated voice system that sends you in circles. If lowes really cared they would give you a number that actually connects you to people dedicated to resolving these types of issues, not a generic call centre number.

We bought four lanai chairs. We found them online for a very good price (they were on sale) but the website which offered free delivery wanted to charge $80 when I finally got to the checkout screen - not cool! I managed to borrow a van and went to the store. Staff were run off their feet and were obviously short of employees - like everywhere else. Staff were friendly and polite.Of the four chairs three had damage and we had to wait for them to bring out four more. Of the eight chairs we found four that were acceptable and my wife was prepared to use some touch up paint on the scratches. Of the other four one mesh was torn, and three had missing plastic covers or deep scratches which will rust within a month.Good chair pricePoor chair qualityGood staffPoor delivery offers.

MJ helped me find these door locks that weren't on the shelf. She grabbed the big ladder and started searching. We search for at least ten minutes and she wasn't giving up until she found them. Great customer service! If I could leave 20 Stars I would!!!

For years I’ve been able to make returns on unused project items by swiping my CC rather than tracking down receipts. I just received a new CC with a different expiration and my items today can’t be found. Apparently a month ago they stopped issuing store credits said CS, especially on an item like my air conditioner cord; what!?. CS here is dismal and unhelpful.

Much better looking and organized than Home Depot and they have a wider variety of things a home owner would need compared to a construction company or builder. Even though the aisle people were nice and attentive the costumer service is inconsistent.I’ve been here almost everyday for a week and liked it except for the when I had to return something. When I arrived there were two customers being helped by two cashiers and one person ahead of me. Five minutes later the line grows behind me to add 3 more people. So we stand there for 10 minutes while one cashier is checking on an order for the one costumer and the other is counting out what seemed like bags of nuts and bolts for a return. 15 minutes from when I walked in, the line doesn’t move and neither of the cashiers call for help. The one guy counting the return is still at it and the other guy finished checking the other customer’s order status, walks away to put the book away, walks to the other end of the cashier row and doesn’t return! I look at the people in the line with me and was like “That guy just walked away!” Everyone shook their heads in disappointment. But then two cashiers finally came to help.

3/2023It is conveniently located and a viable alternative to Home Depot. Although, for the items I quickly shopped for outdoor market umbrellas, the small selection they had was significantly more expensive with a much smaller quantity and choices.

I am so stinking frustrated with this store! They lost my refrigerator and now I can not get anyone to answer the phone. Tried calling corporate number and they are closed because they are in the mainland. Auto voice says there is no order scheduled yet I still don't have my fridge! WTH!

They have what you need you just gotta search for it. The last time I needed thumb tacs I couldn't find it so I asked one of the employees in the vest. He said they didn't have it. I used the lowes app and showed him that it said they had it in this store. The employee didn't say anything and walked away. I asked another employee and she told me it's on isle 14. Well I couldn't find it on isle 14 after searching for 5 minutes. I then saw a friend and after talking he told me where it was. He shops there alot and knows where most of the things are. He told me don't ask the employees they don't know some do. If you asked 10 employee probably only 1 would know.

Lowe's Kahului has everything needed to complete your home improvement projects here on Maui. The store is clean, organized and stocked with the items for jobs of all sizes. The employees were helpful, friendly and did a great job assisting me with knowledge and item locations throughout the store. Definitely out performing the orange guys across the street I'd recommend Lowe's for your everyday projects.

Brand new LG washer and dryer, installed by Lowe's 2 months ago. Just moved into the house and started using the washer a week ago. House is totally flooded. Lowe's refuses to help saying I am "outside their policy window". Ive only been using the machine for a week! HORRENDOUS. I will be making a claim. Not only do I not have a machine to use, my new floors, baseboards and cabinets are destroyed. Customer service offers ZERO HELP!

Wasted about 5 hours there. Yuck. Some nice workers who helped me. Don't try calling cause you won't be able to get through

We are on the mainland and the water filter needed replacement on our refrigerator. We called and talked with a knowledgeable and friendly associate in appliances. She looked up our original purchase and was able to get our filter and have it for pick up . We didn’t know the correct filter part so we are happy for the great service

I had a problem with my Lowes Protection Plus plan for a freezer that I bought that wasn't fixable. I tried to speak with Tyson and Dennis, the managers, but they were unwilling to speak with me. I then spoke with the head of cashiers, Nasha, and she promptly made things worse. She was rude, nasty, didn't care one whit about my problem, which had been ongoing for 6 months, and was a horrible representative for Lowes. I don't ever wish to interact with her again. Clearly they don't care about my business or even attempt to help me so they convinced me to my home improvement shopping at Home Depot and a little at Walmart. Real bad experience and for no reason.

This store does not answer the phone. You call and are asked to make selections to be “directed to someone who can help you”. Then you wait online while the phone rings about a dozen times, and then you are unceremoniously disconnected! WHO RUNS THEIR BUSINESS THIS WAY??

Absolutely 100% zero customer service. You can’t find anyone to help you in any department. Even customer service couldn’t do anything for me. I was in there ready to spend about five to $6000 on new carpet. After waiting for 45 minutes with no help and walked away. Home Depot here I come.

Bought a refrigerator 7 weeks ago, Day before it’s to be delivered, Lowes postpones the delivery one week. The day of the 2nd delivery, Lowes calls 30 minutes before the arranged delivery time. Lowes tells me they can’t deliver my refrigerator because it’s too big to fit in Lowes box delivery truck. The delivery organizer says they have to get a flat bed truck for delivery and she’s not sure she can.Then she says I have to understand if they deliver from a flat bed truck they’ll drop the refrigerator as close to my house as they can get. If they can’t move the appliance, how in the world do they expect me to move it? If that’s the case, I’m my own delivery person and installer!She acted like I tricked them on the size when they knew the size from the original order. They sold it to me! I refused her ridiculous offer.She told me she’d call me later yesterday or today to talk to the Powers That Be to resolve the delivery issue. That didn’t happen. Don’t ever try to call. I attempted 40 calls and NO ONE answers their phone. Completely unacceptable customer service. They don’t even know about the products they sell.If you buy on a sale and save $100, you can be sure you’ll get $400 worth of aggravation. Do yourself a favor and shop anywhere else

BE WARY!! A worker named Leila or Layla was our cashier. She was angry and sassy toward us because she wanted to go home and was done at 5pm. It was 440pm and no one else would help us. She rang all of our items up twice and the total came out to $1100!! We asked her HOW when the most expensive item we had was a little under $400. She said “das how” and my husband told her to show him the screen. Every single item she rang up was rung up twice!! Be careful!! They are angry at us and double charging us meanwhile the customers are what keep these stores going! Lame!! Be careful and always double check your receipts before leaving. The manager was “not in” to speak to about her rude and ridiculous behavior so nothing was done about it.

Truly the best customer service in town. Employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and community-minded. Love seeing long-term employees, their familiar faces, and that they care enough to greet me by name. Over the course of my six month home remodel, Justin in the Pro Dept. has been very instrumental in making my overwhelming home remodel a little more manageable. He is my go to guy. Always happy to help, competent and willing, but most notable, his integrity. I ask a lot of questions, and appreciate that I can count on Justin to give me honest answers to navigate the best fit for my needs. Most recently, I was interested in purchasing a damaged washer at a discounted price, so I asked Justin for his feedback. He walked to the appliance department, did a thorough inspection on the unit, examine the inside of the basket, and noted damage that I wouldn’t have noticed. He gave me a list of pros and cons so that I could make an informed decision. Either way, he wanted me to be happy with my purchase. I really felt like his level of care and concern was equivalent to that of family. Justin‘s customer service is truly the highest caliber.

The door at customer service is turned off so people can not exit through the door clearly labeled Exit. I told customer service the door isn't working and she told me they turned it off people are supposed to exit "that way" as she pointed to a partition labeled Employees Only. WHAT???

If one wants a disappointing shopping experience go Lowes Kahului:Garden section: Many plants are almost dead because of insufficient care.The store: good luck to find someone available at all or who actually knows the answer to a question you have.Appliance: If you find one who knows how to do the order of a large Appliance good luck with the waiting time. One employee for 6 customers waiting in front of you. Filling out forms takes a painful long time.Register to pay your bills, it works😉Delivery: catastrophic, they give you a definite date and the request to clean you place(washing machine) 2 days later they tell you, oh we will deliver maybe 3+ weeks later. I'm know without a washing machine.Sumery: a terrible place for doing business.

Even their corporate office only has 1.5 stars!I have been "trying" to use this store for some large projects/remodel and they refuse to answer the phones!And IF you do get someone on the phone the call is disconnected immediately ~. Good times!I have been trying to get help from this store for several weeks and I still haven't been able to even order my product.SHAME ON THE STORE AND DISTRICT MANAGERS for allowing these kinds of reviews from frustrated customers!RUN TO HOME DEPOT and save yourselves some major frustration!

My brother and I came in looking for a few items and left with everything I needed and more! Cory was wonderful, insightful, responsive, upbeat, patient and professional... He knew exactly what I was looking for and knew how to answer all of my questions! I highly recommended he get a raise and a higher position! The quality of service he provided was truly exceptional! Overall my experience today with Corey definitely made my trip to Lowe’s memorable and I will definitely be back!
