Absolutely amazing! We stumbled across this place after doing the Jurassic UTV tour and it was such a great find! The service was fantastic, we even got a taste of some homemade hot sauce. The meals were delicious and the smoothies were some of the best ive ever had! We were the only group eating there as well so the vibes were so great. A must try for sure!

I think this is the most authentic, ultimate, local dining experience. If someone was in Waikiki, I'd say make the trip just so you can say you've had a truly local food experience.We ordered the chicken Katsu and BBQ quesadilla. Both were memorable. On top of that, the owner (yes, it's Uncle Bobo) gave us some hot sauce "fresh from his garden." It was awesome!The ginger lemonade was bold and unashamedly gingery just how I like it. Then as a bonus, we enjoyed a scrumptious popover.Come for the food, stay for the experience, and leave with stories of Uncle Bobo’s culinary haven. It’s more than a meal; it’s a slice of the locale served with a side of aloha spirit. 🍽😋🌺

*Order online before you go*Everything about this place was great.The owner and wife were the friendliest people.The ingredients used were very fresh and high quality. We had the fish tacos and teriyaki beef bowl. I could eat it every day. Don't hesitate to eat here, you won't regret it.

Absolute hidden gem, by far the most affordable and maybe even the best lunch I have had on Oahu. Simple authentic dishes served with super fresh ingedients. Take out or limited outdoor seating only. If you're doing something at the Ranch, this is the ONLY place you should be going after for a bite. I will be making a point to visit the couple who owns it every time i'm back on the Island. A MUST TRY!Parking: Really small lot with 3-4 stalls, but more parking nearby

We stopped here after doing the Jurassic UTV tour. Robert and his wife run the little small restaurant. They were very nice and accommodating. The food was so good! It was four of us and each of us had a different item on the menu. We tried everything from each other's plate and everything was so yummy. We had the quesadilla, the Mac and cheese bites, the beef plate and the shrimp plate. All so freakin delicious!! The place doesn't look like much but it's definitely worth the stop.Parking: Small parking lot but good for a quick stop

Amazing local little place! Must have to stop by and try if around this area! Food is so so delicious and fresh, it’s literally melting in your mouth! We got teriyaki beef bowl and ahi bowl and it was unbelievable good! Owners are very friendly and sweet couple! Definitely highly recommended!Thank you so much !

Stumbled upon this place on our drive round the island. The food was amazing! Simple, fresh and very tasty. They were very accommodating for my sesame allergy as well. We came for the ahi katsu and it delivered in spades. Super delicious, full of flavor, and the sauces were the perfect combo. Now $19.95, but so worth it.You can order ahead of time on their website….and need to order on the website once you’re there anyway.Uncle Bobo and his wife served up some incredible eats.

If you have a group (not sure the threshold, we had 2 groups of 7 and 3) either reconsider, or prepare for a barrage of passive agressive comments after you pay about how you are keeping them from other business and it’s just the two of them. I have never felt more caught off guard or more uncomfortable just waiting to get an order of food at a restaurant! Note: we were not in any hurry and never made a comment or anything stating otherwise. We were just hanging out enjoying our scenery and our group which consisted of a birthday girl and her friends and family out celebrating her day and this is where we chose to eat for lunch. The wife who took our order was sweet and unassuming. We were all happy and relaxing until the man came out making us feel like we were rude and wrong for ordering so much food at his restaurant since there were only two of them. Again, we did not care if it took a long time to get our food and were not complaining at all! We were all so thrown off by this behavior and a few of our kids so much that they wanted out of there and ended up sitting in the cars while we waitedfor our food. Every dish that came out included another passive agressive comment. At this point we all had our heads down just trying to get our food and get out of there without making him more stressed : mad at us (even though we’d done nothing but order a bunch of food from his restaurant..oops???).Bottom line- we all enjoyed the taste of the food. Had we been left alone to just enjoy it, this would probably be at least a 4 star review, but instead we were treated like we weren’t welcome (though not until after we paid) and all felt incredibly uncomfortable and caught off guard and ultimately unwelcome. Just a strange experience!

We stopped by on our way to PCC, very small place with no dine in so you are ordering from outside, eating outside in the elements or taking it away. The man was outside taking to another couple telling them its only he and his wife in the kitchen and the food will take while, he came over to us and said the same thing. Must he his standard intro. He also said we can order online, we were in zero rush, so fine with us. His wife took our order and it took time food to come but the weather was beautiful as well as the ocean view. Food was excellent, everything we got was very tasty. We got Chicken Katsu, Quesadillas - everything was fresh, fresh. we hear the vegetable and salad was grown by them. We will defiantly come back.

I love small local businesses like Uncle Bobo’s because the owners are so friendly and genuine. The shop is ran by a husband and wife who put so much love into their food and making sure they are healthy and organic. The shop is nicely located near the Kaaawa beach so you can enjoy the view after food. The food was superb, especially the teriyaki sauce, which is homemade! I also loved the passion fruit shaved ice, which I highly recommend to cool down in the heat!

Great friendly service. Terrific food.Their bowls, sandwiches and smoked ribs were all enjoyable.I am extremely happy we returned and had a chance to try their smoked ribs. Great flavor and texture. Fall off the bone. It's a good portion of food. I didn't feel over stuffed or weighed down, just enjoyed it and looked forward to coming back for another visit.

Was driving around the north east of the island and stopped here... best decision. Got the chili bento, quesadillas and ahi katsu bowl and they were all so very good! It did get a little busy as we got here and the guy at the front was warning about wait times which I think was honest of him. He did mention that ordering online on the way here was the way to go. Great stop for great food!

Looks inconspicuous but the food is amazing. Probably one of my favorite meals on the island. They grow their own eggplants/aubergine and the rice dish with it is fantastic. Suitable for vegans too if you skip the salad dressing. Also had a smoothie and coffee - all great.

Best service made the food stand out even more! The man taking our order (I assume he is the owner) was SO kind as we were deciding on what we wanted. He makes the bread in house for the sandwiches, and it is obvious because it's so fresh and delicious. I loved the large portion of green salad with poppyseed dressing for a side option, which kept the barbecue meal feeling light. The teriyaki beef bowl and brisket sandwich had the most tender meats and were very beautifully presented. A definite gem of a place!

Both the food and the service here were amazing. My husband and I stopped here on our way to the beach and while driving back home he was ready to stop by again lol. For drinks we ordered a papaya smoothie and cherry soda, and for food we ordered the fried mac & cheese bites, the ahi bowl, and the Cajun bowl. Everything was delicious! It was just a husband and wife working and they were both so kind and welcoming. They even offered water and a treat for our dog. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to others!

We visited Uncle Bobos on our recent trip from Austin last week. There was a table for 4 empty, and promptly they offered to bring another table to with additional chairs to accommodate our party of 6. This was my favorite meal our whole trip, and we did a wide range of dining over the course of a week all across the island. Our family (3 of 6) ordered 2 smoothies, ginger lemon drink, pineapple fizz drink, BBQ pork quesadillas, BBQ brisket sandwich, chicken katsu, and the beef teriyaki bowl. I highly recommend this restaurant as the service and conversation was lovely. We look forward to visiting again for future trips!
