Called PetCo Grooming - Beretania to get an appointment scheduled for my dog, who is an Addisonian. They canceled our first appointment because they said we needed to acquire a clearance letter from the vet that her condition was under control. Got the clearance letter from the vet, scheduled our appointment again, and then was told in person by the manager (Helen) at our appointment that they weren’t going to accept her or the clearance letter.Where was the disconnect between the manager and her employees? You say your job is on the line if something were to happen, but it seemed like you were just uncomfortable accepting our dog. Your policy of “we have to be 100% certain” that these pets don’t have conditions is illegitimate. Any pet getting groomed can have something happen to it. To deny us because of her condition because you don’t have a vet on site is laughable. If your groomer messes up and injures a pet, who do you call?Do not recommend this place because they do not prioritize customer service or pet safety.

Terrible grooming!I took my baby in for nails and a little trimming and finished after two hours at the vet.The groomer was very unprofessional!He cut her paw very deep and the vet had to clean it and bandage it up. He also cut all of her whiskers off!! and did a very bad trimming on the paws.My dog has her paw all bandaged up and has a cone collar for a week.Petco paid for the vet but said they will not give any compensation.I will not go there again!

Made an appointment, received a text next day that it was canceled without any explanation or any reason, called multiple times nobody picked up the phone, made another appointment next day, without any particular groomer in booking, this time received a phone call, they said no groomers are available for next couple of daysEverybody is busy I get it, but that’s what appointments are for, so everybody can plan their day around itThanks

Took my dogs in to get their nails trimmed, teeth brushed and a grooming service for one of them. First and foremost it was very difficult to schedule an appointment, I don’t blame this entirely on the staff, this is more of a symptom of underlying issues. Furthermore, they up charged for their various additional services any chance they got without properly disclosing pricing or any other relevant information before doing so. I paid for my dogs to get their teeth brushed and never witnessed the action being performed through the glass windows in the lobby and when questioned about whether or not the service was performed the employee told me it had been. I have no reason to believe it was done.As previously mentioned all of these shortcomings are not entirely the Petco grooming staffs fault. It is clear that they are overwhelmed, overworked, understaffed and I’m sure Petco and management pushes them past their normal moral bounds to make the greatest profit possible for the big company. It is sad that what could be a great affordable experience is ruined by corporate greed and lack of passion from the employees.

My dog is a difficult dog, he is a shiba terrier mix. He is very fidgety and when very excited barks a high pitch bark. The young lady that trimmed his double fur coat did to the best of her ability, he has some lines but he moves alot. My dog also hates his claws trimmed but the young lady still worked with him as he fidgeted. The result: a well groomed, clean pupper.

The check in was thorough and yet quick. Desi is fantastic he reviews notes from previous visits and discusses with me the services to be provided. My dog and I just enjoy our visits at Petco, It had been awhile since I was able to bring my dog in and she needed lots of attention. . My Honey Girl is happy to go to Petco. Mary S. was a professional and reliable.groomer. She cut Honey Girl's nails just how I like them. I WILL be asking for her on Honey girl's next appointment. Petco was clean, employees was happy and reliable, Great valve and quality for your money, I had questions which were answered, very responsive. I also ended up buying products which I wouldn't have if Mary S didn't use it on Honey Girl. Thank you Penny

The workers were professionals, the groomer did a great job since my dog is about 75lbs of muscle, she handled him well and showed him the respect that he needed and everything turned out well. I'm impressed because apparently the Kaneohe PetCo had left some "not-so-nice" notes on my puppy being a meaner and aggressive dog but as the owner I would've liked to know what is going on and not once was that brought up to my attention. So hearing that he did well with you guys brings joy into my day. Thank you.

Our puppy Tater Tot warmed right up to the groomers, who did such a wonderful job of trimming her nails and bathing her. One of the groomers came up to in the store us a bit after her appointment had finished, and she rushed right over to greet him. The same groomer also informed us that because she is under 6 months old, we were eligible for a discount on her bath. We can’t thank Petco enough for pampering her and taking such good care of her - and us!

Caitlyn was very gentle with Lady Pumpkin. She was very attentive to her. She made sure Lady Pumpkin was felt secure and safe. She took her time with her so she was not scared. She petted and talked to Lady Pumpkin while she worked on clipping her nails and putting the nail caps on. I think Lady Pumpkin thinks she is special because of the nail caps.

The groomer advised against shaving down my corgis fur. Which was great advice since we were not aware that his fur may not grow back the same. My little guy got a great bath, a nice butt trim, and he is now so fluffy and happy. Thank you!

The one who always assist Lady and Rambo ALWAYS provide an excellent service. She showed me that she care for my furbabies and I can feel that I can trust her with them. I love that I can feel that she really loves what she's doing and this really reflects on what she does.
