We trust Pacific Paws with our typically reactive miniature Schnauzer. Marjorie is an awesome groomer and "friend" for him, even when he is difficult. And he usually is difficult.The grooming is top notch - even, fits his features. Nail trimming in particular is "just right." We can't imagine taking him anywhere else.Prices are reasonable, availability is good, and parking is easy.

I recently visited Pacific Paws with my large size dog and had an amazing experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to listen to my specific requests for my dog's grooming.The grooming itself was top-notch - my dog looked absolutely fantastic after the appointment. They clearly took the time to ensure my dog was comfortable throughout the entire process and the end result was beyond my expectations.I highly recommend Pacific Paws anyone in need of professional and caring grooming services for their furry friends. I feel so comfortable leaving our dog Pearl here to be groomed. They’re so professional and dependable that I can’t imagine bringing our dog anywhere else. She is an anxious dog to begin with and she is extremely comfortable with the groomer Maggie and seems to feel fabulous after she visits.

I’ve been taking my dog to Pacific Paws in Aina Haina for the last two years. They do an awesome job. Hats off to Marjorie who is the most skilled and caring groomer on the east side of Oahu. My dog’s hair gets well groomed as do his ears and nails. Highly recommend. Also Aina Haina shopping center is not that crowded and has places to wait.

I've been taking our 2 medium-sized doodles here for over a year and have nothing but positive things to say about the shop, and especially, Marjorie! One of our dogs is extremely reactive with endless energy and Marjorie always exhibits patience and kindness towards her. We can't thank her enough for her willingness to accept our dog's craziness. Both dogs always look amazing after their visits to Pacific Paws. Highly recommend!

I've been taking my dog here for nail trims off and on for a few years now. Normally, they do a good job and are quick and efficient. Recently however we had a bad experience that I feel compelled to write about.My dog is sensitive about having her nails trimmed. When I do it at home I go slow and give her lots of treats to make it a positive experience, but I'm not a professional groomer and when her nails have gotten really long I take her in to get it done professionally. I understand that a salon like this is not going to take as much as I do at home, but normally they are pretty gentle and comforting. However, this time the groomer was very rough and forceful. My dog tried to pull her leg away and the groomer pulled back. My dog was screaming and panicking, throwing her body all over the table, and they didn't let go, so my dog nipped the groomer lightly. They muzzled her (understandable, the groomer's safety is important, I have no issue with this) and continued. I should have said something and taken my dog away when I noticed how rough they were being and how frightened my dog was but I didn't, and that's on me. When they finished I was prepared to leave and simply not take my dog back again without saying anything publicly.However the groomer then proceeded to lecture me about how I'm making my dog more afraid by being gentle and slow with her at home. She told me that I don't understand because I don't have human kids (weird comment???). I know my dog and she has never been as afraid or panicked with me or any of the other groomers as she was this time. I was extremely uncomfortable being lectured by the groomer like that but I couldn't leave because they still had my dog. A few other staff members jumped in and were a bit more understanding, but I left feeling extremely guilty for having failed to advocate for my dog in that moment and feeling upset that I was being chastised for wanting to advocate on her behalf.When I got home I looked at her feet. As usual they did a great job trimming her nails. But I noticed that she had a large scab between two toes that I hadn't seen before (probably an injury from a few days prior, I'm not suggesting they caused the injury). She was acting in pain and afraid because she was in pain from the injury. This is why I believe in listening to my dog when she communicates that she is uncomfortable. The groomer's insistence that my dog was not in pain, just rebelling because she wanted to rebel, was wrong. I will never take my dog here again.I'm giving three stars because I believe this salon does a good job most of the time and is a good option for dogs who aren't afraid. But I also want others to know that they treat your dog in a way that doesn't feel right and then tell you it's your fault. Not ok.

My dog Dakota is a difficult dog because he is super hyper, vocal and just overwhelming but the staff at Pacific Paws always displayed nothing but patience, professionalism and love towards Dakota. Dakota always smelled fresh and looked fresh after his grooming sessions. Dakota loves the staff and always wants to stay longer!! I highly recommend Pacific Paws!!!

Very pleased with the workers of this business! I called to make sure they were available since it was a holiday--and lo and behold they were! Wendy, was extremely helpful explaining the different types of services that have. Im a first time dog owner, so im very anxious of where to take my new pup! She eased me by reviewing what service was what. A good tip is that its easier to make appointments when you are looking for a bath or something beyond a basic service. Nail trimmings can be walk in by 10a-3pm. I believe they are pretty flexible to ensure they can best assist you. I will be recommending them to all my fellow fur baby owners.

Oh, wow!!! I don’t have enough great things to say!! Just took my very matted and uncomfortable long haired cat to see Wendy for a wash and shave. She did an excellent job!!! She also recommended ways I could keep my kitty from matting in the future. I’m so thankful I found this great place!!!
